  1. Re: Italy - Serie A > Ante-post 2011/12 Season Lazio to win Serie A looks a joke :rollin another tight match between AC Milan and Inter IMAO Juventus sure improve from last season but new coach and many new players (nothing big player at the moment) leaves many doubts...work in progress for the next years....IMO with Roma, Lazio, Napoli, Udinese and maybe Fiorentina & Genoa are contender for the band 3rd-6th position or worse ;)

  2. Re: UEFA Europa League > 5th August hi folks ;) news from Italy for the match Juventus-Shamrock Rovers in Modena (sold out): weather: heavy storm Juventus probable line-up: Storari, Motta, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, De Ceglie, Pepe, Marchisio, Sissoko, Lanzafame, Diego; Trezeguet (Amauri). Juventus coach Del Neri plans to field a similar team to the selection which enjoyed a 2-0 success in Dublin last Thursday, only two changes: Legrottaglie for Bonucci and (maybe, not sure) Trezequet for Amauri in other side i have read that Michael O'Neill will make a few changes to his Shamrock Rovers team for this match:

The Northern Irishman admits that the exertions of a hectic schedule are playing on his mind, particularly with the small matter of a potentially decisive league meeting with arch rivals Bohemians this Sunday. He is realistic about the chances of clawing back the two-goal deficit from their first-leg meeting with Juventus and will shuffle his pack accordingly. Midfield is the area of concern, with Stephen Bradley in the frame to replace Robert Bayly or Chris Turner, and Billy Dennehy in line to come into a wide berth with Thomas Stewart -- who picked up a knock in Sunday's 3-3 draw with Sporting Fingal -- perhaps facing a rest. Another option, which O'Neill is understood to be considering, is leaving top scorer Gary Twigg on the bench "It does come into it," said O'Neill of the schedule. "We'll have to utilise the squad because of the number of games we've had and the mental fatigue we have. We'll have to have one eye on Sunday and we'll have to freshen things up."
i think the biggest problem for Juventus (and the punters) is the weather...now rain very strong if weather improvement i think Juventus will cover easy the handicap (AH -2.25)
  3. Re: UEFA Champions League > 3rd - 4th August Paok - Ajax Ajax -0.5 @ 1.94 (Pinnacle) Martin Jol's side dominated the first leg and registered sixteen shots on goal to PAOK's three. World Cup star Suarez scored a spectacular overhead kick on sixteen minutes. But Ivic latched onto a long ball on the break an hour later to square the tie and give PAOK the all important away goal, which means that Ajax must score this evening or find themselves concentrating on domestic football. In truth, Jol's side didn't do too much wrong in the first game and the Ajax coach is likely to line up in much the same fashion as he did in the first leg, using a four three three formation. Although they conceded a sloppy goal in the first leg, Ajax look to have a solid back four. Young Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld will use a cool head to once again partner his more experienced compatriot Vertonghen at the heart of the Ajax defence. Either side of them, Ajax can boast two attacking minded full-backs, whose ability to get forward may be critical in trying to break down the PAOK defence. There are arguably few better at doing so than Dutch World Cup star Gregory Van der Wiel on the right of defence. At left-back, Vernon Anita is a rough diamond, but has enough about him to ensure that his work-rate and acceleration could make a big difference. In midfield though, Jol has been dealt a blow with the loss of holding midfielder Enoh, who picked up an injury during last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Twente. Demy de Zeeuw is likely to deputise. In better news for Ajax, Rasmus Lindgren will be available for selection, having apparently recovered from a knock during the same match. Up front, expect Jol to stick with the triumvirate of Urby Emanuelson and World Cup star Luis Suarez starting either side of Serbian front man Sulejmani. The 21-year-old has found things tough going at Ajax since his record move from Heerenveen two years ago. However, this could be Sulejmani's time to prove himself. If things aren't going their way, Ajax have plenty of attacking options to bring on from the bench. Uruguayan Nicolas Lodeiro is an exciting talent and new signing, Moroccan striker Mounir el Hamdaoui will have a point to prove if given the opportunity. Ajax Probable Starting Line-Up (4-3-3) Stekelenburg, Van der Wiel, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Vernon Anita, Emanuelson, Siem de Jong, Demy de Zeeuw, Lindgren, Luis Suarez, Sulejmani. Ajax were unlucky first time round. Lightning can't strike twice, Jol's side will show their quality today (i hope). :hope

  4. Scotland boss George Burley will be without 10 key palyers for the International friendly with Japan A depleted Scotland squad travel to Yokohama on Saturday after their exit in the World Cup qualification stages. With many senior players from Glasgow giants Celtic and Rangers pulling out, Burley has been forced to call up a large number of uncapped players. The squad have been rocked by injuries, including Birmingham striker James McFadden and Sheffield United defender Gary Naysmith. Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher and Spurs' Alan Hutton have also withdrawn from the squad, adding to a long list of absentees which also includes Kilmarnock striker Kevin Kyle. Scott Brown, Shaun Maloney, Danny Fox, Kevin Thomson, Robert Snodgrass and Garry O'Connor also withdrew from Burley's original party. Watford midfielder Don Cowie and Dundee United winger Craig Conway have been called up to face Japan in what could be seen as an ideal opportunity for Scotland's fringe players to break through. Burley has also called upon Norwich midfielder Stephen Hughes after his impressive performances for the Canaries this term. Stephen McManus could be handed the captain's armband in the absence of Fletcher, while Charlie Adam is expected to start up front. Japan, who have already secured their World Cup qualification in Asia qualifying Group 1, will weigh up their options against a much-changed Scotland side. Takeshi Okada's side will not want to risk injuries to key players with a tricky encounter against Togo in the Kirin Cup fast approaching. Japan warmed up for the Scotland game with a 6-0 win over Hong Kong on Thursday in a final round qualifier for the 2011 Asian Cup in Qatar. http://www.skysports.com/football/match_preview/0,19764,11065_3161942,00.html

  8. Re: Cycling: Tour De France (July 6-July 27)

Hi boys, today is the Cavendish day :D :D :D This stage 3 is a clear occasion for the sprinter and Mark Cavendish have a great chance of victory. Sportingbet offers Mark Cavendish Top 3 @ 2.62 :eek :eek :eek for me this is a great odds :loon Bet365 and Pinnacle offers this H2H: Kirchen vs Valverde. For me nothing chance for Valverde, Kirchen is the much fastest one than Valverde, and then the Spanish will not risk the final sprint. My picks: Mark Cavendish Top 3 @ 2.62 (Sportingbet) Stake 5/10 :cry :cry :cry Kim Kirchen vs Alejandro Valverde Kim Kirchen @ 1.74 (Pinnacle) Stake 5/10 :ok :ok :ok Sorry for my bad English :$ :$ Bye :beer
Big surprise for me today...no final sprint for the group. Kirchen 11° beat easy Valverde 68° :cheers Today...two shot, one kill!! Bye :dude

  10. Re: Cycling: Tour De France (July 6-July 27) Hy boys, i don't open another thread and write here my impression for the stage 1. stage1nj7.jpglastkmga4.jpg This first stage is not for sprinter, last 1,7 Km at 6.2% are too much hard for they. Some book (Bet365,Pinnacle) offers this H2H: Erik Zabel vs Thor Hushovd well, i think that the Norwegian is the clear favourite in this head to head, in the last Tour of Delfinato in a similar stage Hushovd is second behind Valverde. For me Zabel favourite in this H2H is clear mistake for the odds compiler :lol :lol :lol Stage 1: H2H >> E.Zabel vs T. Hushovd T.Hushovd @ 2.33 (Pinnacle) Stake 10/10 I,m Italian...sorry for my English :$ :$ :$ Bye :dude
