  1. Re: Ascot Wed 17th June HELP!

3.45 - Between NEVER ON A SUNDAY / VISION D'ETAT imo Tartan Bearer has never won a Group 1 so far , which all previous winners since the race was upgraded in 2000 have. Hope you get plenty winners ADAM [ remember these are just our opinions , untimately it's YOUR'S that matters :ok :hope = :beer
cheers mate yeah Never on Sunday jockey seems confident and liked the look of it however sportinglife and racingpost have both napped Tartan Bearer so confussing for me Lush lashes is the big bet for me tomorrow

Elgo i would love to agree but i would rather say its the attitude the players are not bothered bolivia are fired up for it big time playing so well Argentina are making them look like world beaters:spank If i didnt have Kidderminster in another bet i would have done them but i looked at Argentina game and thought Banker!!! so to be honest i am totally P!ssed off as other done so well Belarus at 13/10 feels wasted now!
  5. Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Thur 26/3/09 Woody awesome destroyed the field 18l winner

Her 2.35 Prairie Spirit 1 pt win Bit of a gamble with this one because he has a mixed profile but potentially this one is dangerous on his handicap debut. He is an extremely rare case of a horse who did have a higher rating on the flat than on hurdles' date=' so low is his hurdle rating. His hurdle form showed nothing first two starts but lto was a bit more encouraging. He finished third, beaten a fair way but plugged on at the same pace and was ahead of some potentially ok sorts, ie. Character Building's brother, a fifth who wasnt disgraced afterwards. His french flat form does look fair, he won a few times generally on apparently softer surfaces and has a mark of 85 now but that was in the 90s to start with over here. After his poor hurdle career start, he was tried on the flat over here and showed very little so that is concerning. It should be noted that at time the trainers lack of form hasnt helped. However lto over hurdles there was a bit more hope and first time in a handicap today in what looks just an ordinary race there is some hope. Faster ground is an unknown but there is an american influence in the pedigree which suggests faster ground may be fine and he may be of note in his handicap bow.[/quote']
  6. Re: Best Bet Of The Day 25th March

Thanks Adam, the favourite was awful wasn't it? How could anyone back that at the price (5/4)? I presume it was purely because of trainer reputation, but its form was terrible! I thought Fourpointone travelled well all throughout the race and aside from a 20 sec spell or so when Clifden Boy disupted the lead, I thought we'd have the race in the bag. It was hardly a classic race but the 5/2 SP seemed very fair to me. Well also done to CC who extended his fantastic run and Zero and Palaceman for another two successful lays. :clap

was awful mate hit first fence jockey had whip out on the second was a very nice run by fourpointone not a world beater but similar to back nine it will stay all day!
  8. Re: Best Bet Of The Day 25th March

5.00 Taunton This looks a poor race but I could never take 2/1 about this favourite and will hope for an upset with 11/4 chance Fourpointone. He is racing off a mark only 1 lb higher than his last win and although he has questions to answer after pulling up on GS ground last time he looks the best of a bad bunch, is proven to stay, and has form on firm ground. The fact Tom Scudamore is booked suggests a better performance is expected and the jockey gets on well with this horse. 1 pt win
Fintron another great pick I got on at 11/4 and 5/2
