  1. Re: Fridays Lays My lay of the day would be Tony Alcala who runs in the 4.45 Catterick. Should stick around to possibly grab a place, but up against a few better weighted rivals who are open to finding a bit more makes him appear to have a tough ask. Poor win to run ration and trainer in the doldrums, so all points to a lay. Just noticed a couple of other threads opposing the same horse.

  2. Re: Fridays Naps My nap of the day would have to be Littlemisssunshine who runs in the 1.50 Caterick. Looks more solid than the favourite and although the favourite can win, i feel it's being a bit over backed as of connections. The selection has solid form and sectionals to be tough to beat and should be favourite. The favourite can improve past him, but i think the selction will be too good today.

  3. Re: Thursday Lays My lay of the day would have to be Regal Sunset who runs in the 7.05 Sedgefield. Needs to find more to beat the favourite, which i doubt will happen, and with looking a solid place bet, its not all quite as straight forward as that with struggling to beat the favourite and then being vulnerable to losing that 2nd or 3rd placing to a stronger finisher.

  4. Re: Thursday Naps My nap of the day would have to be Instructor who runs in the 7.05 at Sedgefield. Looks too classy for his rivals and with conditions to suit should win this quite well. Only Regal Sunset to beat and on my workings has the beating of that one.

  5. Re: Tuesday Lays My lay of the day would have to be Eisteddfod who runs in the 3.20 at Leicester. I'm led to believe he's being aimed at a race in the near future and so will surely peak for that, and with needing plenty to beat Levera anyhow, would appear to have a tough ask and should chase in vain. Should be close for 2nd between Eisteddfod and Fajr if all run as i expect.

  6. Re: Tuesday 29th NAPS My nap of the day would have to be Levera who runs in the 3.20 at Leicester. Will try to make all and has the sectionals and ground to be very hard to catch. 2nd Fav Eisteddfod is being aimed at a race in the near future, so although capable, you'd still feel he had a tough task to beat the favourite. Fajr, good enough to go with them, but should tail off late on, as the favourite streaks clear. Might hang around for 2nd.

  7. Re: Sunday Naps My nap of the day would be Lord Of Sehayl who runs in the 5.45 at Fontwell. A debutant and so a bit of a risk, but i've heard he's expected to make up into a useful type and so with this being a modest race and with hearing he's worked fairly well coming into this race, i think he can show enough to win. Breeding ensures no problems with the soft ground and the trip should suit. One to beat for my money and so well worth a bet on debut in this modest race.

  8. Re: Sunday Lays My lay of the day would be Not A Doctor who runs in the 5.35 Uttoxeter. Apparently expected to pick up a race like this, but with needing the run today and with the ground turning soft, i think he will struggle today. Always a bit of a risk taking on a debutant as you never know how good they really are, but i feel i have enough running for me and the fact Not A Doctor will come on for the run is enough for me to oppose him.

  9. Re: Saturday Lays My lay of the day would be Nomoreblondes who runs in the 3.15 Catterick. Plenty will have this down as an each way shot to nothing, but i feel she's exposed now and granted her bare form does give her sound place claims on the bare face of things, i also feel she is vulnerable to a more unexposed type and so cold get run down in the closing stages and finish unplaced. Has too much to find with the favourite anyhow, so should only manage 2nd at best.

  10. Re: Saturday Naps My nap of the day would have to be Foxy Music who runs in the 3.15 at Caterick. Improved recently and would be too good for his rivals on bare form and sectional times. A run to the level shown last time will make him hard to beat. Not much of a price, but i cannot see past him and he should win.

  11. Re: Fridays Naps. My nap of the day would be Ingratitude who runs in the 7.15 Stratford. The 2nd favourite needs to improve and i doubt he will and the rest simply need more than expected, although open to a bit more. The times favour Ingratitude and so a run to par can see him win again. Open to improving a little too.

  12. Re: Friday Lay Of The Day My lay of the day would be Habanero who runs n the 7.15 Stratford. Needs to improve to beat the favourite and I think he'd have struggled to win last time had the pair in contention at the time not made late mistakes. Needs to find a bit on the times too and looks vulnerable. Plenty will have him down as a naild on place bet, and he should place, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got run out of the places late on. As long as he gets beat, the main thing.

  13. Re: Thursdays Naps My nap of the day would be Gold Flame who runs in the 6.50 at Southwell. I think the race lacks strength in depth and the Mark Johnston debutant will need the run, so with others needing to improve more than expected, it looks good for my nap. Has shown enough on the figures too, so should win.

  14. Re: Thursday Lays My lay of the day would be Morbick who runs in the 6.50 race at southwell. Word has it that he will need the run, so despite not being a great race i feel he'll be found wanting against a couple of others in particular. Will need further in trip to improve to horse they hope for, so looks opposable today on debut.

  15. Re: Wednesdays Lays My lay of the day would have to be King's head who runs in the 7.40 Huntingdon. I doubt he'll get near the favourite and plenty will feel he's a rock solid place bet with all the others looking to have little chance. Well that might be the case, but i wouldn't back this one with too much to find with the favourite. Will probably place, but no surprise if 1 or 2 raised their games to pass him.

  16. Re: Wednesdays Naps My nap of the day would have to be Dariak who runs in the 7.40 at Huntingdon. Head and shoulders above all but one that lines up and has beaten the main danger recently. Has the times to win again and with race conditions to suit he should be very tough to beat.

  17. Re: Friday Lays My lay of the day would be Flores sea in the 7.00 Hamilton. Needs to see the favourite under achieve to win, which i doubt will happen and i also feel the lay could struggle to hold on for a place. Needs others to change the race make up.

  18. Re: Friday Naps My nap of the day would have to be Aahayson in the 7.00 Hamilton. Has the speed figures to lead throughout and the stamina to uphold that speed to the line. Others wouldn't have the same speed figures and need under achieving from Aahayson. Anything above 8-11 would be a bet.

  19. Re: Saturday Lays My lay of the day would be Vadinka in the 8.45 Thirsk. I can imagine many thinking this would be an each way shot to nothing when browsing the market, but there are several open to improve and they could well improve past Vadinka. I don't think Vadinka will finiah ahead of the favourite and I also think he could struggle to hang on for a place in the closing stages if the main runners improve.

  20. Re: Friday Lays My lay of the day would be Valiance in the 6.50 Hamilton. Looks to have time to find on the favourite and I think his sectionals leave a lot to be desired for this race. Could struggle throughout if the favourite and 3rd favourite run as they can.
