  1. Re: Scottish Football > January 1st - 5th On paper, Arbroath looks like decent bet against out of form Montrose. Lichties put great performance against East FIfe. They were better team when teams played 11 on 11. When EF player was sent off it was easy for guests to win. Carreiro went back to Dundee but should have decent firepower. Montrose have only one win in last 15 games or so. Lost last match against bottom Elgin. Help from Scottish friends about this match is welcome.

  2. Re: Wales > Premier League > 2013-14

hi there. is anyone here who know something about wales football? my interest is match Airbus - Afan Lido and dropping odds on away side. thx ;)
Reason for that is Afan started to get better results and Airbus had slump few weeks ago. Nothing about team news for now. IMO, Airbus will win with two or more as i still rate them as much better team here.
  3. Re: Norway > Tippeligaen > 2013 Aalesund-Start Very important match for both team. Aalesund want to hold third place and get involved in title race, while Start need to escape from relegation spot. Aalesund is in very good mood. They won last three matches. Scoring for fun whole season. Watched their last few matches and i can tell they dont create like earlier. They score and than wait from counters. Still, they are deadly upfront. Aafk have problems with injured players again, but continue to cope with that. Start have big problems. Defense is horrific, thats nothing new, but now they cant score enough to cover that. Still, create from time to time but that isnt enough. Watched them last match. Me and three guys from this forum can play same/better defense . Truth isnt far from that. These two teams played 2-2 this season with many missed chances. Have two bets to purpose. Aalesund to score 2 or more @ 1.40 (my local) and Aalesund to score 3 or more @ EVENS (my local). Cant see Start hold them. Its possible Start will score as Aafk defense isnt great either, but first bet should be banker (if there is such thing). Took that with big stake (along with Dortmund). Second one is very possible as Start have to go forward, so gap behind will be even bigger. If anything unpredictable dont happen, should be goal-fest here.

  4. Re: Norway > Tippeligaen > 2013

Aalesund to score 2 or more + Alta to win, 1.50 in my local. Despite not the biggest odds, this should be cracking bet. Aalesund score for fun, at home especially. Play against Sarpsborg, team which have 5 defeats in row. Sarpsborg defense is tragic. They cant defend against junior team. Aalesund will create, and score IMO. Alta didnt won last round, and that was first game after 14 games. Odd 2 deserved draw, but had many players from first team. Now Alta will play Tonsberg, team from last spot. They arent that bad away, but Alta on their indoor pitch, will win this one.
    Alta-Tonsberg 3-1 FT Aalesund-Sarpsborg 08 3-1 FT Easy, easy win :D

  6. Re: Norway > Tippeligaen > 2013

There is possibility i wont have time, so will post this a bit earlier. Dont have odds in my local yet, but think will be close to EVENS. Start-Brann Many things speak that this will be bad bet, but simply cant skip this, despite i dont have greatest confidence. Start have to win this. Now, they are in big trouble. If dont win, trouble will be even bigger. Losing to Sandness didnt help. Also not winning against Aalesund (2-2), despite having numerous chances. Whats the problem now? Their defense is crap, nothing new, but now offense dont create enough. Dont get me wrong, still they have many chances per game, but instead usually "200" they have "100". That is enough for some other team, but not for them. They are playing Brann, team that cant hit anything away. Even if they do, concede at least two on almost every match. So the worst away team, despite not playing that bad sometimes. At home have all wins i think ( to lazy to check smile.png ). Will take Start to score 2 or more, adds should be close to Evens. Start have to win. If they do, doubt it will be 1-0. Also they can score 3 and to lose. Strange team. So, i learned in past, not to bet 1x2 for them. But betting on goals is very good bet when they are involved.
3-3 FT :D Great match. Many chances for both sides.

  8. Re: CL Second Qualifying Round > 17th July

Hopefully I am not breaking any rules in starting this a couple weeks early but need some thoughts on Molde v Sligo Molde not doing too well in Norway, Sligo a team from Rep Ireland I can currently get 1.70 for Molde to qualify for the next round..... is this a trap or is there some value in this? :unsure Opening leg in Ireland if I'm not mistken
Dont know much about Sligo and their level but can tell you few words about Molde. Molde had bad start of the season which putted them in relegation zone. Changed few players before start but tought will have similar results. Now, play better and will climb but think season is over in championship for them (when they reach safe distance). Still i dont trust them this season (this is my personal decision to stay away from them). To many time they didnt win when everybody expected. As i said, dont know on what level is Sligo, but i guess Molde should be favorite.
  9. Re: EL First Qualifying Round > 2nd - 3rd July Videoton x Breidablik, 1.69 my local. Will take this double. Vidi will play against Mladost Podgorica. They finished 2nd in Hungary, only because bad first part of season. Then changed coach, and everything went better. Lost two players in meantime but still very strong team. Nemanja Nikolic will play alone upfront. Mladost finished midtable in Montenegro but few teams didnt want/coildnt play in Europe, they got a chance. Best scorer is Scepanovic. He played in Hungary and couldnt score. Vidi tend to play low scoring matches at home. 2-0 is possible result. Breidablik will play Santa Coloma. Wont say much here. Only, if they cant beat team from Andora at home, then should hang themselves :unsure. Class difference is big here i think. Adding: Best Mladost scorer last season,Scepanovic, is on trial in Iran, and probably wont make it. Now I am even more confident in Videoton. Hope wont let down :hope

  10. Re: WC > Europe Qualifiers > 7-11 June

Agree, but Croatia never won against Scotland. Scotland usually at their best when underdogs. Corluka and Lovren also suspended. Strachan has had the players together for well over a week. Plenty of players missing. But exciting new additions with youngsters Leigh Griffiths, Stuart Armstrong, Ryan Jack, Gary Mackay-Steven and Tony Watt all vying for their first start while James Morrison, James McArthur, Steven Naismith, Snodgrass, Shaun Maloney and Jordan Rhodes boost the quality in midfield and up front. Scotland may spring a surprise and obtain a draw?
Its ok to have hope, but dont think it will happen. Simply, Scotland is reallly bad nowdays. Ok, never won, but last game was 10 years ago or smth like that. You cant count that. Croatia have to win to stay in race for first place. I think they will do it. My point is not to take big handicaps. But in few conversations with Scotland fans they dont expect anything less than 3-0. That will tell you a lot.
  11. Re: WC > Europe Qualifiers > 7-11 June My two cents. Watched Croatia few times in this qualifications and my impression is they play nothing special. But they show in those game they are big team by winning them even without good play. Simply to much quality in this team. Modric is big loss IMO (correct me if i wrong). Dont know can Kovacic cover him. Watched Scotland against Serbia. They are piss poor. Serbia, team which is in mess and cant create anything, won 2-0 and should have been more. I didnt see anything except fighting spirit. Now i read few players are out for Scotland. If their replacements are worse, cant see them taking anything. Croatia wont trash them, simply they dont play that good. But 2-0 is very possible. Odds are so-so but really cant see Scots doing anything here.

  12. Re: Norway > Tippeligaen > 2013 Stromsgodset-Aalesund I didnt want to play this game as odds arent great for me, but must give respect to Godset in the and. Home team is very strong.Home are force, away very good. They are playing great attacking football. With their quick and techniqual way of playing, they have brought down one opponent after the other so .far this season. Storflor, Keita and tower Kovach are very dangerous. Last match they ran over Start away from home. At home are 5-1-0. Only draw was against Sarpsborg, but in that match missed some crazy chances. It was sick at one point what they can miss. For this game Horn is suspended after red card along with Ibrahim. Sorum is injured but he didnt show anything IMO. Keita is probably out, but DIO will step up. He is in good form. Aalesund was very good in last match, 2-0 against Odd. I already said that they are good at home, not so good away. Bad news for them is that Jason Morrison is out for the rest of the season. He was one of the most important players. Daniel Arnefjord, Petter Orry Larsen and Tremaine Stewart is expected to be out during injuries. Nordvik may be back. Match will be played on plastic pitch. In theory, Aalesund can cope on that surface. But that just theory, which they need to prove. Until that, i will go with Godset. Simply, they are best team at the moment. Dont think anyone can cope them at home. Odds arent great, but i will take them in the and. HW for me.

  13. Re: Norway > Tippeligaen > 2013 Aalesund-Odd Grenland Same story with Aalesund this year, strong at home not so good away. Last match was lost away in Bergen but they werent that bad. Aalesund have problems with injuries but they cope with that very good. Odd have bad start. Lost last match at home against Start despite being better team. Lost all four games away. They are better than their position showes IMO. Aalesund is playing very good this season at home. Scores and creates a lot. Cant see out of shape Odd taking anything here. HW for me, 1.80 my local.
