    Re: Spreadman's Total Goal Minutes Sell System trades for today - first post! I've just started reading your two threads spreadman and they are interesting stuff. The obvious question I would like to ask is what is the highest make up on your records for this market and also what is the highest make up over three consecutive games. Off the top of my head I thought of Monaco v Werder Bremen but remembered you do not trade CL games so the next thought was Spurs v Arsensal last season which having checked made up at 570mins. I'm trying to think of 2-3 high scoring games in succesion but only come up with the FA Cup semi finals of 1990 (two 3-3 games when I think both were 1-1 at HT) or even a Match of the day programme in the late 1970's when the two selected games finished 5-3 and 2-6. It is difficult to imagine a make up higher than the Spurs Arsenal game but wondered if you (or anyone) knew of any or a sequence of 2-3 games which would seriously test the robustness of your system.

I always thought it was too good to be true - all those well written and informative pieces for free were never going to last forever. Thanks for all those and also thanks for making this such a positive place - so many other forums are full of "online poker is fixed" and "can you believe this muppet called me with this" type of threads but they rarely surface here.     Re: Get your chips out for the lads I too had a problem and asked the manager very nicely what to do and had my manager chat suspended. A message then came up to inform me of this and suggested I click on Manager chat to discuss the problem but of course I can't because this facility is suspended. laugh4.gif Oh well - good luck all

Tonight on a MTT on betfair I started "singing" help by the beatles and it set the tone for absolutely the beat mtt I have ever played with a few people joining in the fun. Even when tables got balanced the new comers said what a change it was to the normal moaning on the chat threads

    Re: trash talking- a confession The reason I keep chat on is oneday I hope to progess beyond internet poker and play in a big live game. If I do then chat becomes a reality - I will have to deal with whatever people say. Thats why I always play with chat on

    Re: trash talking- a confession Ouch I too have fallen for this trap and its was painful as I knew I had been duped. For a while I played with the chat off but somehow I was conscious of this and started to wonder what they were saying so I turned it back on. I knew it was a weakness I had to address so I decided then just to agree with people who insulted me. Sometimes I just type "ty" and if they continue say something like "coming from you its a compliment" and then leave it. Once someone told me he hoped I'd get run over by a bus and I replied that if I was I hoped he'd be driving it. Now I find that when I'm playing well I just don't notice the chat - I'm too focused on watching what is going on. The chat serves little function in internet play unlike in live play where what people say and how they say it give tells. Keep playing and keep the chat on and you will soon learn to deal with it.

    Re: Best time of day to play L4 of Ladbokes ladders I've just played a level 4 game Phil and the major thing to report is it is still 8 minute blinds at that level. The game I played was very tight to start with but by level 6 just became a crap shoot. The standard of play was basically good but a good game was ruined by the blind structure. GL if you play but I would advise playing some level 3 games first - not because your play is not good enough for level 4 - simply because why risk over 50% of your bank roll on a lottery. Build up your Tokens first.
