  1. Re: 'Great Fold' I thought, now not sure If you had a read on the re-raiser being tight preflop then this can be a good fold by all means. In this situation it did prove to be of course. With no reads or against a somewhat looser player i am shoving over the top here and going all in. Infact, unless i view the player as being very tight i am almost certainly not laying this down as i am fairly favourable against their range and doubling up here gives me the chip lead. Personally i probably could not bring myself to lay down QQ here and i think the shove is probably +EV in the long run. Like i say however if you did have a read here and went with it then kudos to you. Solid reads incorporated with assigning player ranges are obviously huge moneymakers. Nice fold in this case for what it is worth although i'd still favour the shove in general cases.

  2. Re: Virgin Poker Withdrawals As luck would have it i just received the following email. Dear Mr ****, Thank you for the email regarding your poker account. We have received your documents and they have been forwarded to the financial department for further review. If you make a withdrawal now it will be held until the documents have been approved, which can take 1-3 business days. You are however more than welcome to make a withdrawal in the mean time, and we will send you the money as soon as the documents have been approved. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind Regards, Carolina WebDollar Customer Support Team This suggests i will be able to withdraw in the next few days and perhaps i jumped the gun a little. However some of the information i was receiving prior seemed completely computer generated. Also the site that my queries appeared on and were given a 'ticket' for were shoddy at best. Hopefully it shall all end well anyway.

  3. Re: Virgin Poker Withdrawals

Hi mate, Do you have your 'security code'? Once you go over a certain amount of withdrawals (for me, it was approx €600 iirc) you have to input your security code for each withdrawal after that. If you don't have it, you can request it on the Webdollar page, and it is snailmailed to you within about 5 or 6 days. I've never had any problems with Webdollar customer service, they've also responded swiftly and helpfully to me.
I do have my security code mate. I got it texted to me (without any hassle/delay i might add) and have used it for a few withdrawals since. I have withdrawn around 2000 euros in total at a rough estimate Have you been required to email your proof of age/address once you reached a 2000 odd Euro limit or have you not reached it? I really appreciate the help on this one as i am not the most well off of chaps at the moment and a couple of grand would mean a lot to me if i could withdraw it! :ok
  4. Hello all. Never really posted on the site in the past but have browsed it on and off with interest over the years. I've been meaning to begin to contributing for some time now and unfortunately the thing to have sparked me to do so isn't particularly positive. I have money (a few grand but nothing crazy) in Virgin Poker at the moment and when trying to make a sizeable withdrawal a few days ago i got a message saying that i needed to send proof of ID to 'Webdollar' who are the outfit who run the banking side of Virgin Poker from what i see on the site etc. Now, i have done this but still cannot withdraw and am basically wondering whether anyone else has had similar issues or indeed withdrew any form of decent sum from Virgin Poker whatsoever. The computer generated answers on live support and the same by email are really doing little/nothing for my confidence. As a little side of information Webdollar is what your deposits/withdrawals on Virgin etc go through and seem legitimate enough (i think?). I have made withdrawals quickly and perfectly fine in the past but i have allegedly reached my limit of 2300 Euros. Can anyone give advice on this at all? Many thanks, J :)

  5. Re: Post Your Midweek Bets Here I have 3 points on an Ireland, Brazil, Uruguay treble. Ireland are currently winning 1-0 through a Robbie Keane goal Komp so here's hoping mate. I'm sitting here regretting not putting money on Keane to score first though as i told a few of my mates he would earlier today yet foolishly never put money on it. Anyway good luck tonight Komp.:hope :)
