  1. Re: Rugby League: Tri Nations

Nice effort in the 1st half from GB's finest. Gutted when they gave away the interception but fair do's to them they battled back. Game on in the 2nd half and those GB handicap bets are looking pretty good right now.
Lets not hold our breaths too early on the handicaps, after all this is GB after all. Willy Mason = :@ + :spank Sean Long = :zzz

ReasoningBoth players in rather good form and it should be interesting match to watch.Motivation will be surelly on Ancic side as he needs a win here to qualify for Shanghai. This is match of the season for him today.Looking at H2H Ancic knows how to play against Davydenko. He won two matches already in 2006 against Niko.I'm going to try underdog here.Davydenko had really easy matches so far and he is playing really good but today it will be different for him.Ancic can make his day really bad :)
10/10 really indicates a maximum bet - how can you have a maximum bet on a match as close as this???

Richard Gasquet vs Stanislas Wawrinka Stanislas Wawrinka was solid yesterday vs Gicquel as he fired 21 aces and won 90% behind his first serve. More intresting is that Richard Gasquet lost all first games he played after reaching a final this year and he hasn't yet won a single match here in Paris so i'm hoping to the stats to prove right yet again tomorrow. Stanislas Wawrinka -3.13 @ Pinnacle 5/10 Tomas Berdych vs Olivier Rochus I don't know why the price on Rochus is so high as the H2H is in Rochus favor so I know he's capable of causing Berdych some trouble and not to mension that Berdych withdraw from the Basel tournament last week because of injury. Olivier Rochus - 3.10 @ Pinnacle 5/10 Mario Ancic vs Kristof Vliegen Sure Ancic won the title in St Peterburg but some of his oppenent where far from impressive players. IMO Vliegen is one of the must underrated players at the moment and has a good serve and if he serves at top tomorrow his serve should be hard to break as he keeps on firing them aces and we could end up with tie-breaks in all sets and then anything is possible. Kristof Vliegen - 3.65 @ Pinnacle 5/10
Donald, I cannot agree with you on any of your picks I am afraid. I think Warwinka has the best chance of winning out of your three selections, but I could not take him on against such a class player on his day against Gasquet. I can see where you are coming from in that Gasquet has not been playing well of late and Wawrinka is in the twilight of his career, but I just think Gasquet may have too much. I am not ultra confident on this one and will probably leave it alone. If I was forced to have a bet I would go with Gasquet. For me with Nadal and Federer out of the tournament, Berdych and Safin are the best bets to win this masters series. Berdych has been awesome of late and despite withdrawing from last weeks tournament he has noted that that was a precautionary measure because he wanted to play in this tournament where there are more points up for grabs which he needs to get him into the top 8 by the end of the year. Berdych for me in this one - 100%. Also, cannot see Ancic slipping up here, has been superb of late and will fancy his chances in his relatively weak portion of the draw. My standout bet of the day is Haas to beat LLodra. Llodra knocked out a very very poor Verdasco who was injured and didnt even want to be on the court. I backed Verdasco to win that match and I was disgusted with his lack of effort, and even though he didnt try he still gave the qualifier LLodra game. Get on Haas, would eat my hat with Stelios if he gets beaten.

Please Help! need abit of advice from you guys if you will. As i am a cabbage Heres my problem. I have been betting on who will win the comp outright and have all the teams covered to a nice profit bar India and Aussie. (whom i have placed nothing on as of yet). Now one of these teams will be eliminated in the next match between them as the West Indies are through to the semis coutesy of their win last night over India. I am a newb and can't figure out the best way to come out on top and cover either Aussie or India for the outright win. I can afford to take a hit on my profits from the other team bets , but not enough to cover both for the outright win. Looks a bit like this on betfair Aussie - $350 (paying $3.35 for the win) India - $350 (paying $7 for the win) All the rest + between $200 and $600 I apprecaite your thoughts guys! as i don't know what to do...:unsure
I can see where you are coming from, personally I would not cover Aussie or India - both have been under par in this tournament. There are other teams (which you have already covered) that are much more in favour. Betting is a risk, I would rather win big or lose rather than cover every bet and win a small covering amount. But each to there own. Good Luck. :ok

10pts I.Bradshaw's Performance Pts 39&Over 5/6 Bet365 Points are scored as follows: 1pt per run, 10pts per catch & 20pts per wicket. Coming into the tournament Ian Bradshaw was ranked 6th in the ICC ODI bowling rankings and he's shown why in the tournament. Chaminda Vaas bowled a very good spell on Tuesday and Bradshaw's in the same mould. Opening the bowling he'll be helped by the fact that both the Indian openers will look to get after him. He'll also bowl towards the death when cheap wickets are dealt out. We need 2 wickets here and I'm confident we'll get them. quote] This bet is already up after 16 overs LOL. He has taken 2 wickets already. Good bet - shame PP doesn't do those.
