Hi, Boylesports informed me that the Tote return on Bob Ollinger in the stayers hurdle was £7.90… in numerous websites and newspapers and on tv the Tote return was £9. When I questioned where they got £7.90 from they stated this was the Tote return… I cannot find anywhere that gives this return ! On checking Boylesports t&c’s in relation to bets done on the Tote in their shops it stated that the Totes t&c’s applied… when I read the Totes t&c’s it stated that the Tote win return would at least match the SP (in this case 8/1)… I can only surmise that this is some sort of ‘commission’ being taken by Boylesports. I have placed numerous bets over the years in various bookmakers shops on the Tote and have never ever had a ‘reduction’ before. I am wondering is this a new thing or in my opinion are Boylesports taking a small commission from winning Tote bets…

BoyleSports bookmakers deducted from Tote win bet placed on Tote win slip… Tote dividend was £9 win, BoyleSports stated £7.90. Nowhere on either website t&c’s does it state a bookmaker will deduct from Tote dividend… your thoughts please…
