    To be quite honest im not even interested in the real life events anymore, let alone a film. But yeah, gold and everyone else involved seem to only care about money so i really wouldnt put it past them.

    Sorry. Werent sure where to post this but the grosvenor in plymouth now has a poker room, saw it when i went in tonight. Im a student but will definately be at one of the opening events as long as they have dealers (else we might as well play at home). Do they have dealers? Evan

    Re: Had a bad beat ? Come and have a moan here im playing on betfair so its 1 pound (my pound key doesnt work :)) tourneys. Yep i hope never to return. I would join a pl league and probably will when i have some spare cash to deposit elsewhere. I put a tenner in betfair at the start of my uni term, about 6 weeks ago, just bettin on football to make it interesting. It was goin up and down and up and down, then down and down, to 4 quid. Then i decided to try and do something with it. So i started to play these (its not my first time playing poker, but im by no means good). Ill see how it goes, but i dont want to move up to early and blow it all.

    Nobody will ever take you seriously if you're betting against massive clubs like ManUtd or Milan just because you hate them, and that is my friendly suggestion to you.
    Thats the key, if i bet on football (rarely) i definately stay away from any teams that i like or hate, and if your tips are based on these feelings then its likely you will be reloading your account fairly often

    Sorry mate - I strongly disagree with that. The vast majority (80% or so??) of Internet players are losing players and will not be "building a bankroll" - those that are good enough to be winning and building a bankroll wont spend much time on the $1 tables!!! The players on $1 tables are those who are playing for leisure (and therefore regularly depositing) - they are not serious enough to be thinking of Bankroll......
    well where can i start then, im a student, ive put a 10er in, im up to 40 quid now, but ive asked on her and i shouldnt go up a level until i have at least 20 big blinds of the next level, ideally 50?? Just lookin for ideas, cos i enjoy my poker and i feel i have the potential to be a winning player, but it doesnt just come like that, n i have to start somewhere.

Come and have a moan here (first hand of an STT) raised with KK, two callers, Q high board, call bet of 200 on the flop (Q68), guy bets 300 on the turn(3), i raise all in, get called (thinking he might turn 2 pair). Turns over Q4o. 4 on the river (one guy even said hed folded Q4 to my raise, so even less outs) I left head held high with everyone insulting him on my behalf :) What really annoys me is when people say, its a 1.20 STT what do you expect. Well the fact is, most the people who play in 1.20 STTs, do so because they are building bankroll...Ah well, at least i wiill never be like that guy, i can guarentee he reloads his account at least 20 quid a day...

    Re: Poker Novice Questions right ive started off playin STTs on betfair. It goes from 1.20 ones to 3.60 ones, because the level in between is just satelites. How many buyins should i have before i try the next level. Im up to around 10 from 10 original buy ins, i was thinking 20-25? Any ideas? Evan
