Simon Nott

My name is Simon Nott, I've worked on course for most of my adult life, before then I was going racing, first meeting the Mackeson at Cheltenham in 1983. I started working on-course with bookmakers in the South West, around 1990. Jack Lynn, Dave Phillips, Ivor Perry in that order on a regular basis. John Tovey, Jack Bevan and others on the odd occasion. In 2008 I started working on the SP returning team for TurfTV, until being made redundant in 2017 worked full time for Star Sports (2017 - 2021) and have been freelance ever since. I am proud to have recorded quite a few of the Star Sports #BettingPeople video series. In 2013 I self-published my book 'Skint Mob - Tales From The Betting Ring'.
