  1. Re: International Friendlies > 7-9 June I would be very carefull catching those dodgy odds on spain this coule be a way more dificult match than teh one in boston both from teh weather conditions and teh fact vinotinto takes this very seriously and will not leave it so easy as USA playing face to face imo venezuela has quite q good suad even if their two "spanish " strikers may take not part they are some of the best finishers in our league miku and rondon - this one out 100% - .... +1.5 and a everybody happy draw teh value here .....

  2. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 12 April

S........ If this line up stays then i just don't see how this team can beat Barca B.Eduardo showed nothing against Obolon, defence has no experince in this sort of matches,no captain, pressure, low morale. This is only my point of view and i might be wrong but....Also Shakhtar became some sort of public bet :lol so i'm going against the grain here. ....... GL :ok
shaktar public bet ??? .. might be in ukraine couse asians have 1/4 line favouring them since yesterday and that it is a lot of money on cules ...also most bookies .... now every man and his dog knows taking into account so much a domestic game it is probably not teh right thing to do when analizing european comp specially when big crunch time in europe comes :unsure imo odds on shaktar must bear some value somehwat ..... cheers :D
  3. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 12 April

I see this as a bit like in the Cup when Barca destroyed Betis in the first leg. They then made changes and lost the return leg. Can't really see them getting out of first gear, so I agree a bet on Shakhtar in some form should be the more sensible option. .
but this match you mention surely must be in barsa mind - couse they did not just lost but had a real scare in that first half till their goal - and being a bigger stake and harsher rival i doubt very much barsa will enter pitch off guard whatever the line up .... wich acording to catalan press should be strong one even with messi as usual in as he want to play every game .... some fringe players like keita and affellay should start and so masche suspended for bernabeu ... ace youngster thiago may take part as well .... i agree with above said barsa looks tired at times so sopecially second half should try to move the ball around rather .
  4. Re: International Friendlies > 10th - 11th August

Mexico - Spain Spain's squad: GK: Casillas, Valdes; Defenders: Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Puyol, Pique, Marchena, Capdevila, Monreal Midfielders: Xabi Alonso, Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Pedro, Jesus Navas, Mata, Silva, Cazorla, Cesc Fabregas, Bruno Soriano Strikers: Villa, Llorente MEXICO: GK: Guillermo Ochoa, Jesús Corona . Defenders: Paul Aguilar, Leobardo López , Rafael Márquez, Francisco Rodríguez, Carlos Salcido, Héctor Moreno, Fausto Pinto, Efraín Juárez. Midfielders: Gerardo Torrado, Jonathan dos Santos, Andrés Guardado, Pablo Barrera, Elías Hernández. Attackers: Javier Hernández, Giovani dos Santos, Carlos Vela, Enrique Esqueda. I already can see one positive - Ochoa should start in goalsmile.gif.
many positives imo for those backing mexico here absolutely doubts on fitness on most spain players -barsa ones f.i come straight from ibizas beach ' the rest one week tops training ...... ...add to this higher motivation plus D.F huge altitude plus sun hitting if not cloudy 'game played at wee afternoon hours for TV - .. spainish players do not know how to play at that heights .... odds should be below evens ... and if spain is close to winng or even close to getting a mild draw it would feel like hunging the mouse and sticking to lotery ... mex with strong squad and some youngsters like chicharito ot both santos fired !!
  5. Re: Cycling: Le Tour de France 3-25th of July My friend you may or not like contador reaction after Schleck chain problem but label it as a disgrace is way from right only thing most people does not like about it is Contador talks afterwards ...... most big ex pro cyclist say it is absolutely nothing wrong with what he did it may or not be full of sportmanship but it is part of ciclying .... so keep the fan talk off from betting imo :ok

  7. Re: World Cup Qualifiers - October 14/15

Someone asked about Chile's coach being Argentinian, this is correct, it's Marcelo Bielsa. He has a very bad relationship with some of the senior people in the Argentinian FA - he was fired after Argentina failed to win the Copa America a couple years back. But he's always been a decent coach, he coached Mexico to the WC 2006 and did very well for them, although he is a bit crazy generally he's tactically sound, although sometimes he really rubs players and staff the wrong way with his abruptness. In terms of betting, I wouldn't count too much on Chile lying down for Ecuador to run all over them, although they might not try as hard as they would if their WC qualification was still on the line. Chile will be keen to finish on a high and win at home, Ecuador is also motivated to do well, so if you're unsure about a winner, take over 2.5 goals or both teams to score. In regards to Bosnia v Spain - Bosnia won't bench their star players (they don't just have Dzeko, they have excellent attacking midfielder Zvezjdan Misimovic, powerful striker Vedad Ibisevic, young playmaker Miralem Pjanic from Lyon, Zlatan Muslimovic from PAOK to name a few), not in front of their home fans against Spain. But you can count on them being substituted pretty early to avoid injury/cards etc. I'd take both teams to score, Spain's defence is wandering in clouds at the moment sometimes.
I think you are mixing La Volpe with Bielsa here :D .... even if Bielsa has not good relations with Grondona and co surely wants his homeland at WC anyways one can speculate on how players will react but surely they will put strongest available and with party mood at stadium will want to finish on wining ways yet Ecuador are no minnows .... but could really be afected by twist in qualifiers when everybody at home tought they have made it . Ecuador will miss key units specially Valencia . Btw is funny both Argentina and Uruguay won allegedly with refs favour ... i did not watch ecuador game but the one in argentina was a joke ..he even went to arg locker room afterwards .... Reg Spain odds reflect injury crisis for them ..... likely line up will be Casillas; Iraola, Albiol, Piqué, Capdevila; Xabi Alonso, Busquets; Cazorla, Silva, Riera; y Negredo. Imo Iniesta and Torres will not start and may not even take part so that will leave literally no choices on bench ....but some player there should be highly motivated like Negredo , Iraola while quality still is there with Silva , Riera , Mata on bench etc .... Rather defensive midfield plus friendy status makes me be wary about overs but 1X looks ok if bosnia fields all guns.
  8. Re: World Cup Qualifiers - September 9/10

Can I ask a question? Why should "having nothing to play for" make a difference when considering the outcome of a game of football? Ask any professional footballer and they will tell you that they go out to win EVERY game regardless of outside factors. Unless we are talking about a dodgy Eastern European side, Holland are hardly going to just stop being excellent and give up the ghost, enabling Scotland to win. Anyone that backs Scotland at those rubbish odds is being extremely patriotic.
Well i think it does have a great deal of difference specially playing away from home BUT not so much at NT level and specially not when some big gun with huge football tradition is involved furthermore Holland are one of the teams that with their ever offensive footie and love of the game is less suspect in this matter unlike other southern/east european NT's that could lower guard..... still knowing a draw may leave both happy - not sure if Scots can qualify with 11 points ? - i would not back Holland w/o cover :) ..but honestly the game has NB all over it Salvador (el) @ 3.2 6/10 / 1/1 5.85 2/10 / [-1] 7 2/10 / G 1.65 3/10 T&T (0) 4.45 5/10 / G 1.82 5.5/10 / over [3] 3.1 2/10 Well both "la selecta" & soca warriors have still slim but certain chances to at least grab a play off berth if they win tomorrow ties and surely odds offered by bookies look valuable if we take a closer look at what their rivals can offer . First cuscaltecos receive ticos that started on a great note the hexagonal but face this one on a 0 0 2 0 7 record in last two truth is they never were best travellers nor were rock solid but took adv of TT disorganized def system & their strong home advantage at the cueva del mostruo morao stadium of saprissa . Guest will miss two not easy replacable off units like saborio & alonso specially first one while their midfield boss classy centeno is doubtfull for this one as well yet probably will be risked with chances of leaving the team with one less sub & spirits even lower . But here they face a team that have been overplayed by noone but that often pays for their handicap in both areas not having world class players at both ends yet they have good team game & some capable players able to take adv of out of sorts ticos . Aztecas lost at this stadium and gringos should/could have lost too and even theis same CR was defeated by a Quintanilla-Celaya less ES in gold cup only two months back .Host have doubts on castillo one of their best atackers & a new prospect american born player . So lets looks at TT ag USA , surely host look doomed looking at the way they concede but after a trashing ag catrachos some pride is expected to be shown & the gringos are not setting the house alight as well with not much personality game wining most matches on their ever great competitive touch & strong aerial game ag shorties from CA . One of their traits as well is sharp counter game with donovan as master mind so tehy surely could take advantage of TT phony back ways yet lets no forget at Concacaf there is strong home adv & soca warriors have a lot of flair on ranks with premiership players.
  9. Re: WC 2010 Qualifiers (Asia) 10 Jun 2009

Australia -1.5 (2.69 @ pinnacle) Agree with what pete said :ok Even though Australia has qualified and it seems they have nothing to play, the same can be said for Bahrain as they have no chance of qualifying now that both Australia and Japan are through. What makes this interesting for Australia is that they rarely are able to field their best side in Australia and here is an opportunity to show their fans that they can put it to together. Like the look of this team still putting in a professional performance because if they don't they will be ridiculed by the public and may reduce the amount of people going to watch them in South Africa next year.
If i am not wrong bahrain can qualify wining both play-offs specially first one . cheers.
  10. Re: CONCACAF Gold Cup ( 26-28 Jan.´09 ) Honduras -1 1.8 5.5/10 Host look too strong for dodgy canaleros leacking in the back & w/o much european flair besides missing 2 imp players for this one in teh trunk , locals w/o europe based as well but with good squad & some flair like pavon recovered for this one , full house Panama allready got a threble from ticos. El Salvador +1 2.1 4/10 / 6.75 1/10 This one could be tighter despite recent h2h benefits ticos big time the cuscalteca NT should be very motivated to turn things around & ticos maybe were not fully tested in weak group A , line up from them should be diferent from fifa qualifiers no doubt quality is on CR as big uncaf gun but ES can keep it tight & with spaces their lack of firepower could be overcome. Stadium will be filled by home team supporters ahead of their game wich will cheer against CR.

  11. Re: CONCACAF Gold Cup ( 26-28 Jan.´09 ) Nicaragua (0) 5.5 4/10 Nicas never won chapines & only got a draw in 15 but in this uncaf cship they look hard to beat allready giving some scare to ES & Honduras , for this one plan to keep it tight likewise against similar opsition tough oponenst are going through some sort of down following incapacity to qf for hexagonal & bad games against ticos & panama . Nicas will miss coupls of imp players but with their high spirits & fear on guest to go further down they might get the nod & qfy for gold cup , Guates miss as well couple of players & teh camp atmosphere is quite thick with th ecoach hanging on the loose string . Asians not yet available .

  12. Re: African Zone - Final Stage Draw

..... Dropping points at home is disasterous, while gaining a point on the roa is not decessive either (as they could still drop 2 at home and en up at a disadvantage). Let's not forget 3 out of 4 in each group play in Angola 2010, so even if a team is already out of the race to the WC they will still be serious about their games.
Good points and great analysis surely those getting something away from home have the upper hand thats why Nigeria under current form looks good Cameroon may depend too much on Etoo lets see if bookies offer something on outrights and what quotes they come out with on the games .:) cheers.
  13. Re: African Zone - Final Stage Draw WOW :eek really tight groups and only top qualifies at first sight maybe Nigeria the only one that looks clear win imo tough Tunisia & Kenia are not pushovers both strugle away .... Not sure CIV will cruise in E gr they have been poor travelling and specially Guinea but neither BF are easy to beat .... the other groups look tight indeed :loon cheers.

  14. Re: World Cup Qualifiers - Oct 11/12

Group 3: Benin are qualified with 12 pts. Uganda with 7 pts (-2 goals) are 2n while Angola with 7 pts (+1 goals) are 3rd. Don't get confused though.. Uganda won at home and drew at Angola, which is what counts if they end up level on points.
First of all thx :ok for your insight on all group CAf is always great to bet on ... but i have doubts h2h is what counts on equal points i´ve read Uganda needs to win by big margin in case Angola wins , but angola has not many chances to qualify as second due to only one point ag Uganda . cheers.
  15. Re: World Cup 2010: Matches ( 05/06/07-10/11 09 2008 )

I dunno what to say about Sudan now that they lost!!! :unsure If it's any consolation, I've lost my whole bank with Bet365 on that game! :cry It may take me sometime to collect my thoughts and regain self-confidence. I would have expected England to draw to Andorra, or Germany to Liechtenstein, but not Sudan to even draw to Chad, let alone lose to them! :( I owe each and everyone of you a BIG apology... :$
I am with the others no need to apologize here we all know what betting on sports is about s%it hapens and so ,watching them on africa cup they looked like the team able to miss a lot of chances leaving the back unprotetcted probably the goals took them off guard and then urge to come back was not improving things only speculating maybe someone can comment if they watched game ....probably Sudan learnt lesson so this 2.1 are a good way to recover tough chasing loses not usually good idea :/. CHEERS.
  16. Re: World Cup 2010: Matches ( 05/06/07-10/11 09 2008 )

The main reason for it being a "banker" is the crowd and venue, but Sudan shoul have been favourites anyhow. Consier this: Sudan managed to beat Mali in Khartoum in these qualifiers. Sudan beat Egypt in a friendly 2 weeks ago by 4-0 Sudan are well known to be a tough home team, and the likes of Nigeria and Cameroon cannot win in Sudan. This is why had the games been played on a true home and away basis I would have had doubts over the away fixture, but the home fixture would still have been a banker. Ok, so "banker" is actually non-existent in football, but let's say I expect Sudan to win by no less than 3 goals and probably without conceding.
Great stuff Youseef :ok tend to like Sudan as well but both are played at Egypt if i am not wrong Sudan home adv has to do with conditions as well hot dry and altitude correct me if i am worng so how do you rate both teams footie level is sudan so above their neighbourghs :unsure and were was this friendly ag Egypt played at ?? Cheers .. btw i read Oliech is out for Kenia this guy is half the team still home adv huge in CAF but wold be wary of those odds ....
