  1. Banker of the day in the Championship is Swansea for me. Brewster, Ayew and Baston up top. At home I think they will have to much for Wigan. Just outside the playoffs and Wigan in the bottom 3. Enough said. 19/20 so will roll them up into a double with Lazio at home today.
  2. I am going with home wins today, picked up a 3/1 treble last week with the double chance picks and will go for a 5 team acca today 33/1 Blackburn, Stoke, WBA, Swansea, Huddersfield. All to win at home.
  3. There is not much in the championship that jumps out this weekend. I have a feeling for Stoke, manager eventually sacked and players who have been playing below par. I fancy them to get something at Barnsley. I also think Fulham can score goals and have quality in the final third and will get something at Birmingham. That said anything can happen in the championship so I will go with the double chance draw or away win. Add to that Millwall to over power Charlton and a home win at the den and that gives me a treble at 3/1.
  4. I am with Stevie on this one and will take Bristol Rovers at evens in an acca. They are on a good run and I have a friend who is a rovers fan. They have been unlucky with some of the games they have lost before this run. They got beat by Burton Albion and should easily have won with a good away performance, conversely MK got beaten 3-0 playing at home to Burton last week who aren’t exactly prolific goal scorers. Add to that a play off place beckons with a win and the fact that Bristol rovers have won the last two meetings between these teams then I think the bookies have priced it about r
  5. I think this is the day that Huddersfield Town will turn the corner. The Cowleys have had some time to work with the players and I think they will have targeted this home game against Millwall to get back on track and it’s a must win to jump above Stoke following their defeat last night. True their form is appalling but they have some decent players and at 7/5 as the home team they will be my bet of the day to boost a few accumulators. Come on the Terrriers!
  6. While Huddersfield haven’t won in six months the tide has to turn soon and they still have some good players. I am going to take a chance on them in the next few matches. No one would give them a prayer against a Luton team who are riding the wave but there is some value now in backing Huddersfield and I have a feeling in my water that betting on them over the next five matches will reep a profit.
  7. I am all over Leicester today, I saw them against Chelsea and they are a good team. Lots of pace and movement and an away game against a Sheff Utd team that come out and play will suit them perfectly 13/10 for Leicester I will take all day long.
  8. Last week showed just what a lottery the championship is. This week looks slightly easier with some a bit more to go on and strong home team wins I think. West Brom look good against Millwall who will struggle again this season. Bilic off to a flyer away to a good forest team and they have the firepower to hurt Millwall. Home win. Cardiff need to bounce back and even for a Luton side riding the promotion wave I think it will be difficult. Home win for me. There’s a feel good factor around Pride Park at the moment, a good away win at Huddersfield and Rooney on the horizon. The pl
  9. I have a fancy for Peterborough, always a team that could score goals over recent seasons just lacking one or two additions. George Boyd coming back is a big plus and I fancy them to go well. Opening game is at home to Fleetwood and I fancy them to get off to a good start. Burton vs Ipswich is an interesting game. Ipswich will be favourites to bounce back to the Championship and will have to much firepower for this division, that said Burton will proved a tough test at home and with the likes of Boyce and Adkins and a few good additions I fancy it to be an open game today and will go for
  10. While the championship can be unpredictable I think Blackburn are a shoe in for a win against Charlton. I know you have to factor in the promotion bounce for Charlton but the Blackburn team has experience throughout the team and a lot of players who have played at a higher level. They are the home team, experienced manager and they will score goals today. They also had a good end to last season and have kept the squad together. I will include them with Celtic at home and an easy to double to double your money with a season opener.
  11. Nice work on the Acca! Two words spring to mind! Atletico Madrid! No chance Arsenal will win the Europa League. Its a good dilemma to have though! Good Luck!
  12. I like Watford this season but I couldn't fancy them against such a strong City side today. They were on cruise control for the midweek game in Holland and have players to come in not that they will need them at this stage of the season. I will back Watford going forward as they have a good team, good manager and can score goals just not today. There's value but it's there for a reason. Goodluck.
  13. I think both of these teams "need" to win and palace did create lots of chances against Burnley. I think Roy Hotdog will go more direct and Palace will definitely score, new manager, players clean slate, at Selhurst Park home crowd, 4 games without a goal if ever there was a time for a goal it's now, law of averages.Even if they lost they could at least point to a goal as progress. Definitely a goal in this game in my view. Good Luck.
  14. Fair comment! I totally see your logic, Huddersfield riding the crest of a wave and playing some good football. To be fair anyone will struggle at old Trafford this season, they haven't lost at home since last year and Mourinho is a master tactician at spottting a weakness so I will forgive Leicester that one. I just think it's one of those games where Leicester will start firing after a difficult start. That's the beauty of football it divides opinion, best of luck on that double chance! I will go Leicester win on one acc and I will take the Leicester double chance on another. Good luck!
  15. Fulham are actually the only team away from home in that accumulator but with a struggling Burton who have sold their best player I don't think that will make a great deal of difference and Fulham have had some tough games, this will be a much easier assignment.
