The horse broke its shoulder. the 2nd fav had no chance and then the horse (cant remember its name) that was clear pulled itself up to go into the stables only for the eventual winner(2nd fav) to steal the race. I hate to see the horses suffer. Everything has a down side.

I was thinking if i was a jockey and wanted to run a dodgy race what would i do? I Would make sure my horse is odds on and the second fav was about 4 points clear in the betting and then flop my race and collect off of the 2nd fav. I'm not sayng that all races like this are fixed because some races where the second fav has won could be because the fav just did't perform. Has anyone else got any views ? Or does anyone have any stats for these kind of races ? Could be intresting!

I cant post on pl becuase i think its under copyright but i would be happy to email it to you. You may even be able to find a way of posting selections. I cant see how but you might be able to.
