  1. Re: Italy - Serie A - 2-5 December

Parma - Palermo Palermo without Miccoli, Hernandez and Zahavi. Parma is a good team at home in their own stadium (4-0-5) . Palermo without Miccoli and Hernandes is a big blow. Pick : H Odds: 2.06 Stake: 7 Bookie: Pinnacle Sports
Geez haven't been on here in awhile. I salute you for seeing what others glaze over. Palermo are traditionally bad travellers. This season so far they haven't won one match on the road with an away record of 0-1-5 and a goal diff of zero FOR and nine AGAINST. Prediction 2-1 Parma :cigar
  2. Re: Champions League » Dec 08 You know what, all this ManU wagging for or against is making me sick. I not that knowledgeable on Wolfsburg but if that many ManU starting XI are missing today, the homeside is looking very good. prediction Wolfsburg to win (wait to see the starting XI) Regarding CSKA Moscow and speaking of Manu, if any side can go into Old Trafford and score 3 against the homeside they get my attention. It's been mentioned the Russians have had time to regroup as their championship at home has ended and both of these facts smell trouble to me for Besiktas. prediction CSKA Moscow to win finally, Juventus have just proven they mean business beating Inter at the weekend as it's still a race for the scudetto. Even without Buffon the Italians have an excellent second keeper in Manninger. prediction Juve to win visit www.serieaweekly.com for your Italian Serie A news addendum: Lille are in fantastic form coming back to beat Lyon on Sunday 4-3. Lisandro Lopez single handedly put the visitors Lyon up 3-1 by the half but his hattrick wasn't enough as Lille cam storming back If any of these predictions above don't catch your fancy make sure to check the odds on Lille's match against struggling St. Etienne for Thursday as a substitute.

  3. Re: Champions League: Group Stage: Matchday 2- Tuesday 30th September

anyone got any thoughts on the juventus borisov match? i'm in two minds about how strong borisov actually is..
Juventus without Buffon and Amauri today. Some new faces in the lineup, missing Buffon hmmmm, but Manninger isn't a bad replacement. No nothing at all about Bate Borisov so you figure it out mate
  4. Re: Champions League: Group Stage: Matchday 2- Tuesday 30th September

Bayern vs OL looks very overish to me and will take it along with Goal/Goal. Odds of evens and 1,80 look good tome for teams with that attacking potential. Good luck
nicko I'm of the opinion Lyon can create the upset or at least take a point away from this one just like they did with Fiorentina. Bayern doesn't seem right and Juninho is the man who can make any club suffer with his the dead ball skills. Look for a set play to make the difference.
  5. Re: Czech Rep v Portugal (Wednesday)

Scolari names an unchanged Portugal team to play the Czech Republic today....Both teams already have three points, and one foot in the knock-out stages, but the Portuguese were the more impressive of the sides, and are favourites with most firms.

    2-1 to Portugal Over 2.5 goals @ 6/4 Bet365

Karel+vs+Scolari2a.jpg Brückner: Hey Phil Scolari: Ya, Brückner: Why don't we call it a draw and both be happy? By the way, I could use an attacking forward I'm short in that department you mind loaning me Quaresma? Scolari: I'll think about it, it's going to be alot of sardines Brückner: Skoal http://www.serieaweekly.blogspot.com Hey gents hope we're all winners today, Cheers Kev
  6. Re: Livescore Chat - Nov 21 oh Paul all business and no fun, BTW when do I get my share for flogging the betting sites??? :lol Okay your point is taken we serve and obey. PS. I've taken to tracking some of the other responses ie. the whole Israel v. Russia match and......... lots of misinformation going on mate. Often wonder if we've got deliberate attempts to redirect betting picks. check the sources folks

  7. Re: Livescore Chat - Nov 17 Paul I'm talking what we North Americians call smack, never back away from a fight unless outnumbered BTW I tried posting my reasoning for my picks twice earlier and had problems so gave up. My original intent wasn't to offer betting advice regardless but just to let you know I did read your request. Kevin in Toronto

  8. Re: Copa America 2007 salut Roberto my treble for the weekend is Peru/Ecuador/Uruguay. Peru should be able to overcome the host nation who has such a poor record in the Copa, the other two must win this next match if they want to progress and both can do it. Was so very surprised Ecuador went down to Chile on Wednesday night.

  9. Re: CL Quarters Second leg - Tue 10/4 - Wed 11/4 Roma rested Manu ...........? Roma captain Francesco Totti was rested for the Catania match as he struggles to shake off a sciatica problem in his lower back, but the talismanic striker is certain to start on Tuesday. Totti wasn't the only Roma star wrapped in cotton wool, with Cristian Chivu, Daniele De Rossi, Christian Panucci and Mancini all on the bench. Spalletti's decision made sense since the Serie A title is already beyond them. He will hope it pays dividends against a United side showing signs of cracking physically and mentally under the pressure of Chelsea's relentless pursuit in the Premiership. http://www.soccerway.com/news/2007/April/10/ferguson-suffers-as-injuries-take-their-toll-on-united/ Perrotta 11.5 betfair (pay me betfair for the plug ;) Edit: okay it looks like Perrotta isn't in the lineup can someone else verify.

  10. Re: CL Quarters Second leg - Tue 10/4 - Wed 11/4 I will stick with my same picks as last week Liverpool FT win Roma FT win Bayern FT win Chelsea/Valenca draw. Scholes will be greatly missed in the Manu midfield. Contrary to popular demand Roma will not sit back but will press for that away goal. Only after getting that goal will you sense that Italian defensive shell. Ronaldo will have to score today if Manu are to win it and Roma will keep close taps on him all match. Ronaldo has performed better in the PL and I sense we will see little change today. Did someone say Perrotta isn't in the lineup? I'd check that again if he is playing look for a goal from him today. Liverpool are hard to beat at Anfield and I suspect the visitors want this over as quickly as possible. PSV are like a snowball in hell. Liverpool should take this one at home. Bayern got that amazing equalizer late last week when everyone was calling for their defeat. I have greater faith in the Munich forwarders to net something and of course Ronaldo won't be playin in this one so no dives from the Brazilian in this match. Valencia have rested some players for this match and have the home crowd at their backs. Chelsea had to play all their regulars at weekend in the race behind Manu for the PL crown. I think they will be showing signs of fatigue one plus could be the appearance of Joe Cole but I'm not up on his total recovery and rehab. Max

  11. Re: CL quarters first leg - Tue 3/4 - Wed 4/4

Saw the league game between Roma and Milan both played for pride didn't really hold back. Needless to say Milan still looked bad, they got some luck with a call in their favor and capitalized from a free kick to tie the game. Roma diffinitely the stronger all-round side and playing once again at home to Manu is to their benefit. Roma to win or draw :ok Bayern to win :cry Roma perferred in this one have picked them to win or draw. Could lay Manu if available. was surprised in Manu beating Blackburn at weekend (a side which traditionally gives Manu a hard time) as I thought Sir A would play more youngsters but I'll assume at this point winning the PL is for most and losing that 6 point lead isn't thinkable at this point. No Ronaldo but they still won it with goals coming from unexcepted and of course the last one from dependable Solskjaer. Saw Liverpool play weekend good solid home win , will go with them today to take the early lead and win away. Liverpool to win :ok Chelsea/Valancia ??? not sure about this one some problems on lineup with both sides. I think the Spanish will be harder nuts to crack, possibly the draw then but still not sure. :ok
Not bad this week in the CL shooting 75%ish too bad Perrotta didn't get a goal.
  12. Re: CL quarters first leg - Tue 3/4 - Wed 4/4

I'd expect Ferguson to make a change at half time and replace an attacking player. With 10men he cant play Rooney, Solskjaer, Giggs and Ronaldo. My guess is Solskjaer will come off. Can only see Roma winning. Think Utd would be delighted with a 1-0 defeat to be honest. Utd fans causing trouble again in Rome. Throwing objects at Roma fans
Giggs off which makes the most sense, the younger players Ronaldo and Rooney on for the rest which is what I expected and Solskijaer is the one man who could get the last goal I thought Giggs would be the one to go off . Perotta is coming forward and often so I'm alive with chance at the 6.4 he just miss a goal by inches. Max:dude
