Re: FA Cup > January 2nd - 5th
Do you realise you have totally contradicted yourself In each of the three selections you have made? My conclusion from your post is that you think anything can happen in the first half. You have quoted Dover to win at half time' date=' Palace to win at half time and a draw at half time. I think the best bet you should make is to 'lay' the match getting postponed, then as long as this happens one of your selections would be a winner.[/quote'] Well spotted. I placed the Palace HT/FT bet the other day and found the other two while looking today. The only way I can lose is if Palace don't win though, which as a Dover fan suits me -
Re: William Hill World Championships > December 18th - January 4th van Gerwen highest average @ 4/6 BetVictor Van Gerwen's scoring is ridiculous at times, and he will need to be on the top of his game to beat an in-form Gary Anderson. I believe he will win the match, and in order to do so he will need to outscore Anderson who has scored highly throughout this tournament

Re: FA Cup > January 2nd - 5th Both my bets will be based on the Dover Athletic v Crystal Palace game as this will be the match I will be watching tomorrow. Crystal Palace to win both halves 2/1 Part-time Dover are on an excellent run of form and are unbeaten in 16 games and with an extremely strong defence, do not concede many (particularly at home). Were it not for Pardew coming in, I would be reluctant to back Palace. I think Pardew will be desperate to ensure that he doesn't lose his first game in charge and the players will be eager to impress him. Add this to the massive gulf in class between the Conference and the Premier League (shown in Gateshead game), and I think the result will be 2 or 3-0 to Palace, and Palace to win both halves is extremely good value at 2/1. Draw/Crystal Palace HT/FT 4/1 As I mentioned above, Dover are extremely strong defensively and are on a strong run of form. I believe they are capable of holding Palace until half time, but I feel that their fitness will let them down in the second half as they are only part time. I will also have a small amount on Dover/Palace HT/FT @ 20/1 for the same reasons. Dover are capable of scoring given the opportunity.

Re: Vanarama Conference 22nd/23rd August
I'm tempted by Grimsby' date=' Braintree and Macclesfield but will play safe and omit them.[/quote'] I wouldn't even consider putting my money on Grimsby. 3 points from 3 games, 2 of which were at home against relegation fodder. I understand they have injuries and not sure how many of them will be back for tomorrow. Gateshead have scored 8 goals so far from 3 games and have only conceded 3. Grimsby have scored 1 goal in 3 matches - I can't see where they're goals will come from. Gateshead at over evens is tempting me, but I'll probably leave that match alone -
Re: Sky's the limit, 44p challenge. Lol ok. RULES CONSIDERED... I'll have to start again cos I'm now up to £1.45 Bet 1: S Grosspach v Dortmund II over 1.5 @ 1/4 £1.45 returns £1.77

Re: Vanarama Conference North/South 23rd August Sutton to beat Chelmsford @ 2.26 I believe Sutton will make the play offs this season given the relative weakness of this division this season. Chelmsford had a season to forget last time out and haven't looked any brighter so far this season. Sutton look good value here and should have enough to get a win here. 1-0 I think. Under 2.5 goals also looks a good bet here Ebbsfleet to beat Whitehawk @ 2.24 Ebbsfleet are huge favourites to win this league and I believe they will do so with ease. Ebbsfleet had a strong enough squad, on paper, to get promotion last year IMO and they have strengthened since then. Whitehawk have managed to gain 3 points from 3 matches, although their only win came against a poor Hemel Hempstead side. Ebbsfleet haven't conceded a goal yet this season and should be odds on in this match IMO and I don't think we'll be seeing this kind of value in them later on in the season. Will also have a small stake treble on: Eastbourne Borough - Started excellently and look excellent value against a weak Concord Rangers side Maidenhead - Have also started excellently and are playing relegation fodder in Hemel Ebbsfleet - Reasons outlined above Odds on this treble are 8.30

Re: Vanarama Conference 22nd/23rd August Dover v Eastleigh Eastleigh win @ 2.16Dover got an excellent point away against a weak Grimsby side, but I can't see them getting anything from this game. Last season, Dover's home form was atrocious and their summer signings haven't convinced me that things will change this season. Eastleigh, on the other hand have look strong and have made some impressive signings this summer. I can't see past a convincing Eastleigh win. I can see a 2 or 3-0 win for Eastleigh Nuneaton v Barnet Barnet win @ 2.25 Nuneaton are a team I expected to go down without much of a fight this season, and their first 3 games haven't convinced me otherwise. Barnet played extremely well in their first two matches and were unlucky not to get anything from the Lincoln game. Barnet will simply have too much for Nuneaton and at 2.25, they look like value to me

So I am in the process of clearing the loose change I have in all my various betting accounts. I had £0.44 in my bet365 account so I'm gonna see how far I can take it. This is more about the quantity of bets rather than the amount of money. I have already placed a few winning bets: Bet 1: Pohang Steelers or Draw @ 1/9 £0.44 returned £0.49 Bet 2: Under 4.5 in Maribor v Celtic @ 1/14 £0.49 returned £0.53 Bet 3: Under 1.5 in Fulham v Wolves @3/10 £0.53 returned £0.69 Bet 4: Inter Milan to beat Stjarnan @ 1/20 £0.60 returned £0.63 (bank @ £0.72) Bet 5: Under 3.5 in Iceland Women v Denmark Women @ 1/20 £0.72 returns £0.75

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem April 26 Gateshead to beat Cambridge (1/1) Gateshead are unbeaten in 11 league matches and will be looking to guarantee themselves a play off spot. Cambridge have lost 3 on the bounce and have already secured a play off spot. Nuneaton v Dartford draw (13/5) Neither side have anything to play for, with Nuneaton safe and Dartford already relegated. Neither side have shown any quality of late and I can see this being a low scoring draw, possibly 1-1 or 0-0 Welling v Southport draw (13/5) Again, neither side have anything to play for. Welling are on poor form, having lost 4 in a row in the league and only 1 win in their last 10 games. Southport are unbeaten in 4 in the league. Southport are the better team recently but have only won 1 away game all season in the league

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Three bets, three wins from me. Another profitable night. Shame North Ferriby postponed though
-
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 I'm not saying it won't happen, but nothing suggests it should happen other than Tamworth's 5-0 defeat at the weekend. Saturday aside, Tamworth's defence hasn't been too bad of late and they have only conceded more than 2 goals twice in their last 9 league games.
-
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Luton have only won by more than 1 goal once in their last 8 games. They have only scored more than 2 goals once in those 8 games. Can't see how you can justify backing Luton -2.5

Re: West Ham v Liverpool > Sunday April 6th Excellent bet from differ there

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Was looking at Worksop earlier but too unreliable to justify being odds on for me

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 You have Skrill North listed as Skrill South btw! Guiseley and North Ferriby double pays evens with Bet Victor. Guiseley will be looking for 3 points to ensure they remain in the play off places, and should have more than enough quality to see off Gainsborough Trinity, who haven't won in their previous 7 league games. North Ferriby will be looking to move to the top of the league and having only lost once in their previous 10 matches, are in good form. Stalybridge Celtic on the other hand have only won one game in their last 10 league games and have the worst home record in the league. Staines to beat Whitehawk (3/4 with BV) Staines are in top form, and are unbeaten in 7 league matches. They have also only lost two home matches all season. Only thing casting a doubt about this is Staines only have a very slim hope of reaching the play offs, whereas Whitehawk are involved in a relegation scrap. Witton Albion to beat Frickley Athletic (17/20) Witton Albion have been playing well recently, and won at the weekend against Matlock. Frickley have lost 3 of their last 4 league matches, and also have only won 3 matches away from home all season

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill North & South April 5-6
Thanks, unlucky with Brackley, 90th minute!Brackley and Worko were losers but Boston landed at a decent number to keep the loss to a bearable level. Great calls by jack on H&W and H&Y at some fine numbers.

Hello everybody, it's been a while since I've posted.
Barrow to beat Macclesfield 12/5 with Bet365Both sides have an FA Cup game to think about at the weekend, but Macclesfield play on Friday whereas Barrow don't play until the Sunday. Barrow are the superior side on paper and are on a great run of form. Macclesfield have much less to play for in the league than Barrow and therefore are more likely to rest players. 12/5 seems too large for Barrow.Macclesfield game now postponed.
Dover to beat Sutton 2/1 with Bet365
Always difficult to back against a side with a striker as in form as Ricky Miller for Dover. Dover are a dangerous side who can outscore anybody on their day, but are suspect at the back. Sutton are another side with one eye on their big FA Cup second round game at the weekend, whereas Dover are out. Dover are unbeaten in 5 (in 90 minutes) and have only drawn one in the league this season. I like the look of Dover to win and BTTS too at 4/1 with Bet365.
Guiseley draw no bet against York 5/4
York are in all sorts of trouble at the moment and seem unable to scrape a win. Guiseley thumped York 6-1 last time and beat a decent Boreham Wood side at the weekend. Would probably back the Dog and Duck against York at the moment.
