Re: California Chrome I gather my information from my eyeballs and by reading every bit I can about the horsies. My eyeballs say he has "another gear" and seems to have a will to win, heart of a champion, the kinds stuff they loved about Smarty Jones. The things his trainer says about him get me goosebumps. 20 horse fields are always hard to predict, but he should find a way into the top four spots. but that all key gets expensive so i have to find my third key horse. give me another day or two and ill give you the key to winning hte tri and maybe the super

they smoke in the casinos and it is dreadful. i found ONE REASON to favor the usa over this wonderful place..... and the other players seem to have a different word for everything down here

Re: freeroll to the moon i keep knocking on the door, the fields are too big, but i guess they are getting me ready for the wsop main event fields, i cashed in one tourney on the bankroll mob, they are great.... small fields on the full tilt site,.... so i took my dollar to the PLO table and had it up to 6 bucks before i took a horrible beating from a stinky russian dude so its back to the drawing board! the 6 bucks was easy, there are STILL bad PLO players out there.... i will have to do hit and run to avoid more freerolls! time to get moving on the penny 888 to the wsop... thats a fun one!

Re: Poker skill or luck ? the skill is in navigating the field and knowing when to press your luck by your observations of your opponenets which is much easier live, but can be helped with the software..... there are times to push and times to fold your 16 out hand depending on the dynamics of the table

This horse simply has another gear and seems to love the competition. Too late to get him at a good price I fear. Wrap him up in the exactas and tris and you will do fine, let me see the bluegrass and ill give you money.... Wicked looked real good in the wood memorial too. Wicked plus chrome plus all is the trifecta i guess and hope for a bomb!

he refuses to lose. easy money with three points, get it before the UK backers run out of money and the sharps poung this line down to a pick 'em. the whole team has that look in their eye, the coach is a real winner, they have a chip on their shoulder and still have a "chip" monday night, a champeenchip. uk kids are already thinking about their draft day

trying to start a poker bankroll from freerolls at pokerstars. i don't want to put too many poker programs on my lap top as it is an older gent, and not very smart the weekly freeroll round 2 has a 300 dollar first prize. i am o fer 2, but last week it was stud and i am not so good at that it doesnt feel any different from real tournaments at the end of these things, i like to sit out and go work out to keep from going crazy.... i wont be updating this post until i have a two figure score, so cross your fingers for me and keep hope alive! free rolls full of eastern europeans are very :wall

I will stop posting when My streak ends... My pick for tonight is the undewr in the LAL-SAC contest at 121.. I dont think they come near this as they have played recently and they failed to score 180 between them. Familiarity breed defense... hope to be back tomorrow with another play, i will post until i fail! GL ALL!

Re: Getting back in to it there's a cool promotion on 888 where you can win a trip to vegas for the wsop and that is worth focusing on i think. take the trip, play the tourney and live in the room like howard hughes come back from vegas with most of the 1000 dollars in spending money they give you, well thats my plan anyway!

Re: How do I win this type of poker? you win by raising the stakes to a point that the money starts making the decisions for them and you will have yourself a license to steal. see the skill or luck thres. its mostly how you manage your luck that seperates the very good from the superior players. that and the cynical manipulation of other players emotions, fears and prejudices.

Re: Lay the NOB ("Nailed-On" Bet) i like the way you are thinking here, this happens so often in NFL games, fading the talking head idiots on the panel shows before the game seems like easy money. the definition of NOB is the key here, it needs to be standardized somehow for scientific rigor. this reminds me of the usfootball patriots this year, everybody was on them becuase of their reputation even down a couple of key players...... it will be interesting to follow your progress on this!
