You are on your last warning yet again. Keep causing grief on the forum "Theresnolimit" and you are a gonner, again. Although text English is forbidden, this is not an English grammar school and you certainly will not be the one giving out the orders around here, that job is for the owner!
Sorry, I didn't mean to cause grief, I just kept seeing the same mistake from the same person and wanted to help them correct it. I'd expect someone to do the same to me if I kept making the same error in my writing (or betting) as well.
2. Re: Australian Open 2014

The way I try to approach it so that I don't go insane is to try to focus on the result' date=' and not the journey to the result. After all, the result is all that counts in the end. I admit it's hard to do, particularly if you are following a match. Like you said, sometimes the swings in a match go for you and sometimes they go against you. In my experience, it does tend to even itself out over time. I can think of numerous examples over the last year or so where a player that I have backed has gone a set or two ahead only to lose, or a set or two behind before coming back to win. In this tournament Granollers was two sets up against Cilic and lost, and last year Robredo came back from two sets down not once but twice at the French Open when I was backing him.[/quote'] Firstly Torque, is there any method to your betting whatsoever? Betting religiously on the long shots is as unlikely to turn a profit as betting religiously on the favourites. Can you explain please how you see your strategy being profitable over the course of the tournament? Secondly, I completely disagree with your statement above. I have played a lot of poker and as poker players we are taught to focus on our decision-making, NOT the final result . I believe it is exactly the same with betting. You can't judge whether a bet was good on whether it won on one isolated occasion. You have to ask whether it was a bet which would be profitable in the long run.

Fu didn't deserve to win because he didn't have the balls to take on shots when he needed to. Higgins didn't deserve to win because he missed a simple brown to seal the match. It doesn't matter if you were 4-1 up or 5-3 up, if you don't have the bottle to see out a match, you don't deserve it.
I'm sure John Higgins has lost many matches for many different reasons but not having the bottle is not one of them. I'm inclined to agree with Fader, it's difficult for you to justify 'deserved to win' in the situations described here. Fader, it's 'should HAVE' and 'could HAVE' not 'should of' or 'could of.' I told you that just a day or two ago and you've gone and made the same simple mistake 4 times in your last few posts alone. Come on mate, you're an adult, learn from your mistakes!!!

Wednesday preview: 4pts Sydney Sixers to beat Hobart Hurricanes 4/5 Ladbrokes I like the Sixers here. I’m not convinced by the Hobart Hurricanes. You could make an argument that the Sixers batting line up isn’t the strongest but they were without their main batsman in Michael Lumb last time out and still only lost on a super over. Xavier Doherty will be a big miss for the Hurricanes on this wicket and they themselves don’t have the longest batting line up and only one of their batsmen have over 100 runs in the tournament. The Sixers have enough with bat and ball to win this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/sydney-sixers-vs-hobart-hurricanes-betting-the-sixers-look-the-stronger-all-round-unit-in-this-one
Hurricanes have made a right old mess of that. They turned it into a comfortable chase and then fell apart for no reason whatsoever.
5. Re: The Masters - 12-19 Jan Really frustrating that, I'd taken 'neither player to win three consecutive frames' at 4/1 which I think was a cracking bet and I think it would have paid but for an absolutely ridiculous run of the balls and an unbelievably bad performance from Ding. One of the better 4/1 shots you'd see this year, not a price I'd usually bet at and upsetting to see it lose in this fashion.

6. Re: Big Bash League 2013/14

kev' date=' what do u think about the price on Sydney Thunder. In IPL, I have always blindly taken prices which are that big cos I dont think any team in a 20-20 can be such a dog. However, I still cant understand how a team can lose 19 in a row! Must have been some kind of a world record. Maybe in big bash the teams are not as competitive (though i doubt it).[/quote'] You've answered your own question. They've lost 19 in a row, so 8/5 or whatever they are isn't big at all. I think people misjudge how short 20-20 games are. It's 120 balls each, it's not one over or a coin toss. There are still good teams and bad teams and prices of 4/7 or so on teams like Thunder losing or teams like Stars winning represent huge value when you consider how short the prices on teams with similar records in other sports usually are. Don't overthink it and end up betting on Thunder. You HAVE to take them to lose at the prices offered.

3pts J.Trump -1.5 frames to beat M.Fu 1.80 Bet365 Judd looked really good in the Championship League getting to the final and losing out to Joe Perry. Seems to have really excelled on his safety play now and still possesses very good long range shooting and is good around the balls so Id fancy him to start off with a solid win here. Judd's beaten Fu last 5 matches in a row and all 5 of those he would of covered this handicap. 3pts J.Perry to beat S.Maguire 2.62 StanJames Maguire holds a good record against Perry recently winning the last 6 however on Perrys recent form he is looking a good bet here. Championship league ofcourse he won beating Robertson in the semi's and then Judd Trump in the final convincingly. He has really upped his game as of late and last head-2-head between these 2 in the champs league he kept it very close losing out to a final frame, 3-2. The overs in this match looks very solid but I'm going for the outright win.
I think I'll follow these 2 as they seem solid tips. Sorry to go all 'Grammar Police' on you but I've seen you make this mistake quite a lot Fader - It's 'Should have,' 'Would have,' etc not 'should of' or 'would of.'
8. Re: Big Bash League 2013/14 A double on Stars to win again and Thunder to lose again looks to be the easiest money of the weekend. Not really much to add, could go into the various ins and outs but their records speak for themselves and at 4/7 for each one, the best prices going. (Will probably add in Australia to beat England at 1/2 but that's for a different thread.)

9. Re: BDO World Championships 4-12 Jan

Thanks for that Kevin but believe it or not that was the same link I sent to them along with the scorecard and they wouldnt accept that! Update, sent them a link from espn darts and they have corrected the settlement, cheers Kevin and Aidy

Over 128.5 BDO World Championship 2014 - Green vs Robson (Highest Checkout Score 2-Way) 08/01/2014 None 5/6 Won

That's a disgrace that they made you go to all that trouble to prove you'd won a bet. I'd be pushing for some sort of compensation in the form of a £20-£30 free bet at the very worst. I was on the opposite side of the coin, got paid out when I knew the bet had lost. My Bet365 account now sits at -£9.17 as they took the money back later in the day, so I guess I'll not be using that site again!!
