  1. Afternoon all. Am off to thirsk tomorrow and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on the races. Thought I'd ask now as I may not be able to log on tomorrow morning. Local Yorkshire trainers easterby and Kevin Ryan do well here so will be looking out for those. Any thoughts/stats or any info appreciated. Cheers!

  2. Is anyone in a betting syndicate? Just wanting people's thoughts. Myself and a group of friends (5/6 of us in total) are looking into the possibilities as a hobby/bit of fun/good day out etc. We would be looking at something trained in North Yorkshire area so stable visits etc will be easily accessible. Any thoughts, info etc much appreciated. Thanks

  3. Okay, now i know that you are supposed to give reasons etc for your picks but i cant really do this!! All i can explain is that i received a text from someone whos family owned Iris's gift, the horse trained by Jonjo ONeil . Anyway the text told me to back a horse called Lapin Garou on 11th December at Cheltenham. This horse hasnt ran before apparently and the race card/odds etc havent been announced yet but have been told to get on it at the earliest stage. Dont know much more although i believe its trained by Hobbs. Anyway, thats all i can say. Good luck if like me you back it:ok

  4. Re: Musselburgh Help Please Cheers guys. eah its a Swinbank horse. Guess i've missed it then!! Musthave the stables up here somwhere in N.East/Yorkshire. Bloody typical!! Thanks for the info though. We've actually sponsored one of the races for mates stag do. The "Pippen she's only after your money" 5f claimer stake shall be ran at 3.30 i think!!! Should be a great day, look forward to attacking the free bar in our box:beer

  5. Hi guys Am going to Musselburgh races on Friday 8th October for the first time. Have got a few questions that you may be able to help me with if you would be so kind!! When and where will i be able to see the horse line up for each race?? Where can i find any stats about musselburgh, percentage of winning favourites, ages, draw etc. I remember about 2-3 yrs ago going to John Smiths cup and someone on here putting up an article that basically whittled down all the horses based on past statistics of each race ie 0/12 5yr olds have won so ruled out all the 5yr olds. Really helped me that day :clap Am looking for something similar and also some tips!!! PS On another note, have been told to "put my house" on a horse called Nuts and Bolts. This was about 2 months ago and was told that it hasnt ran yet (may have now mind i not looked) How can i find out when it is running if it already hasnt?? Anyone know of this horse?? Anyway, thanks for your time :ok Tom

  6. Am attending this event at York on the 12th and am interested on peoples thoughts for the meeting. 2 years ago someone posted up some stats and trends and i went with this knowledge and came home with a nice tidy profit so if anyone can put these up it would be very much appreciated!! Does anyone know when they will announce the runners and riders?? It takes place sat 11th at york. Thanks :ok

  7. Not long now until the Epsom derby, just wanted to start a thread to see peoples thoughts on the day, peoples fancies etc. Feel free to contribute. Would be good if somebody could post up some stats and trends from the meeting, similar to those posted for Cheltenham festival. Thanks and look forward to reading some of your thoughts. Tom

  8. Am heading to York on Saturday like every year for the J.S Cup. Just wondering peoples thoughts on the runners and riders and hopefully can give the bookies a bit of a hammering! Also is there a site where i can get all the runners in each race? I have noticed they have closed some of the course due to the floods and have changed the length of a few races as well. Anyway , any thoughts would be appreciated, dont normally write on here just visit so please be kind!! Just noticed on PPower Bailieborough down to 20's fromm 33/1 for the j Smiths cup Goodluck guys, lets find some winners :hope
