  1. Re: CL Quarters Second leg - Tue 10/4 - Wed 11/4 From Uefa web site: Ibrahim Afellay, Jan Kromkamp, Edison Méndez, Michael Reiziger and Alex are all absent through injury, while forward Diego Tardelli damaged his ankle in training today and is uncertain to play at Anfield. PSV have huge troubles now, as Ajax and AZ have closed the gap to and it's 2 points only. I'd say Koeman Gave up on this game, but who knows what team will Benitez field for this match...

  2. Re: Danish lower leagues 9th. of April

Nasty Nas' date=' not sure what you mean. I havent noticed any big moves. But i will dig into the team news to see if something is going on[/quote'] There you go Rumlesen. Odds taken from Betexplorer. Also have noticed odds movements in 3rd league's Holstebro - Vejle BK II and Naesby - Jetsmark games. Too bad I can't find anything about these games though... :(

  3. Re: Basketball: Euroleague Round 6 Maccabi played this week against Ramat Hasharon in the local league. It's true that opponent is the weaker side (by far), but still, Maccabi played without VUJCIC and managed to beat 'em 110-77. I was, too, thinking Maccabi can't handle without VUJCIC, but this game proved me wrong. SPAHIJA finally gave FELIX to play (wasn't that bad at all). SHASON participated also, and was pretty good. My point is, Olimpija is going to struggle alot. Olimpija is probably the weakest team in this group, while MACCABI needs to win back their fans' symphety. Olimpija will miss OZBOLT as we all know already, but new injured center KUZMINSKAS, will miss the game as well. Olimpija's players were not paid for some time. The club is in a big financial crisis, players are gonna strike after this game (or maybe in the middle of it...who knows... icon_wink.gif ) and the managers of the clubs will probably get fired soon. One last thing is, israeli airport is on strike, which means Olimpija + refrees are still in Ausria, will land in Israel only on thursday, on 01:00, something like 20 hours before the game will start.... All in all, I see nothing but HW. A big one. Olimpija's very weak and can't handle relatively poor Maccabi. I see few bookies offer -15, which is a great bet IMO. For me, Maccabi -15 , medium- high stakes. GL!

  4. Re: International Friendlies, 4-10 October Have to disagree JERRY. 3 best japanese defenders won't participate cause their teams have a champion race (Urawa Reds Diamonds, Gamba Osaka). 3 uncupped players will play instead. As you said, Japan's squad is based on local league only. Only 4 players have played in national team more than 10 times, which means, unexperienced team. Japan has a known problem with scoring goals. Not a single real scorer in that team, fact that led to these home results: Japan Malta 1-0 Japan Scotland 0-0 Japan Ecuador 1-0 Japan Bulgaria 1-2 All games played in the last six months. I rate Ghana as a better team than atleast 3 nations above. Ghana needs a preparation game to the African Cup which will be hosted by Ghana, as you said. These is Ghana's squad for the game: Squad: Goalkeepers: Sammy Adjei (Mohadon Sports Ashdod, Israel), Richard Kingson (BB Ankaraspor, Turkey) Defenders: Hans Adu Sarpie (VFL Wolfsburg, Germany), Issa Ahmed (Randers, Denmark), Francis Dickoh (FC Utrecht, Holland), Dan Quaye (Hearts of Oak), Habib Mohammed (Molde FK, Norway), Shilla Illiasu (Asante Kotoko) and John Mensah (Rennes, France) Midfielders: Stephen Appiah (Fenerbache, Turkey), Michael Essien (Chelsea, England), Laryea Kingson (Locomitiv Moscow, Russia) Sulley Ali Muntari (Udinese, Italy), Haminu Dramani (Genclerbirligi, Turkey), Eric Addo (PSV Eindhoven, Holland) Forwards: Junior Agogo (Nottingham Forest, England), Razak Pimpong (FC Copenhagen, Denmark) and Asamoah Gyan (Udinese, Italy) and Derek Asamoah (Shrewsbury, England). As you can see, great players, especially on midfield which is imo, by far better than the japanese one. Japan squad: Goalkeepers - Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi (Jubilo Iwata), Norihiro Yamagishi (Urawa Reds), Shusaku Nishikawa (Oita Trinita) Defenders - Alex (Urawa), Yuichi Komano (Sanfrecce Hiroshima), Hiroki Mizumoto (JEF United Chiba) Midfielders - Naotake Hanyu (Chiba), Yasuhito Endo (Gamba Osaka), Takahiro Futagawa (Gamba Osaka), Kengo Nakamura (Kawasaki Frontale), Keita Suzuki (Urawa), Yuki Abe (Chiba), Yuto Sato (Chiba), Satoru Yamagishi (Chiba), Makoto Hasebe (Urawa) Forwards - Ryuji Bando (Gamba Osaka), Seiichiro Maki (Chiba), Kazuki Ganaha (Kawasaki Frontale), Hisato Sato (Hiroshima) I'll take Ghana X2 here. @1.7 or higher is a great deal imo. GL! :hope

  8. Re: Interantional Friendlies (9-12 May) Probable Belgium's squad: Keeper: Stijnen (Club Brugge) Defence: Collen (Feyenoord), Vermaelen (Ajax), Leonard (Standard), Simons (PSV) Midfield: Van den Borre (Anderlecht), Geraerts (Standard), Buffel (Glasgow Rangers), Goor (Anderlecht) Attack: Defour (KRC Genk), Vandenbergh (KRC Genk) Strong line-up indeed. For me,it doesn't even matter who's gonna play for Saudi, they're just too poor... Game will be played at Holland. It's Belgium for me 1.9 on BET365 GL! :hope

  9. Re: Interantional Friendlies (9-12 May) PERU have left out their European-based stars Paolo Guerero (Bayern Munich), Jefferson Farfan (PSV Eindhoven), Claudio Pizarro (Bayern Munich), Santiago Acasiete (Spain), Nolberto Solano (Newcastle) and influential Ecuador-based midfielder Roberto Palacios Liga (Deportivo Universitario Quito) and will field a locally-based team against Trinidad and Tobago today. The Peru squad are quite young as well. Goalkeepers George Forsythe and Gotuzzo Burton are 24 and 20 years old, respectively. Two other 20-year-olds are midfielder Miguel Cevasco and forward Douglas Junior Ross, while Alianza Lima midfielder Paulo Rinaldo Cruzaro and defender Alberto Junior Rodriguez are both 22 years old. Last test for T&T before WC. They will field best 11 and will treat this game quiet seriously. Home side should win against Peru's B team. 2.20 on BET365. GL!

  10. Re: Japan X Ecuador, Mexico X Paraguay

No Official tip on the latter. Just the analysis:

Paraguay are still unstable. They've only played 2 friendlies since they sealed their qualification to German, winning over Togo 4-2 and drawing goalless to Wales.

Mexico palyed 6 friendlies so far, winning over Uruguay, Hungary, Norway & Ghana, and losing to Bulgaria & South Korea. They are the better equipped team, unless Paraguay has been up to something in their quietness.

I believe Mexico should produce another win here, as I believe they will field a better side today. Everything could be different had this one been an official World Cup fixture though.

    Now for the official tip:

ReasoningFor as far as I'm concerned, Ecuador can keep on playing the way they do and it will get them absolutely nowhere in the World Cup. They simply suck! After agreat qualifying campaign they suddenly became just another ordinary eam that has even lost to Uganda in December, won by only 1-0 over Honduras, and aain lost by the odd oal to Holland (1st of this March). For Japan, it's an entirely different situation as they've been producing some good results, drawing to Bosnia, winning over Finland and crushing India Even the loss to the States was by 2-3, which is far from being one-sided. I guess before their own crowd Japan is bound to win, friendly or not, as the World Cup is just around the corner and both teams should be looking for the final touches on their best squads. Good Luck
not in their best squads at all. but it is still home win for me: Japan Name Squad For Ecuador Clash Japan have named a 23-man squad for the March 30 friendly game with Ecuador: The game will take place in Oita and could see Keiji Tamada make a return to the starting line-up. Zico recalled the striker, now at Nagoya Grampus Eight following Kashiwa Reysol’s relegation, after the 24 year-old recovered from a serious injury. Only J-League based players will face the South Americans who find themselves in a World Cup Group with hosts Germany, Costa Rica and Poland. The squad: Goalkeepers: Yoichi Doi (FC Tokyo), Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi (Jubilo Iwata), Seigo Narazaki (Nagoya Grampus Eight) Defenders: Makoto Tanaka (Jubilo Iwata), Tsuneyasu Miyamoto (Gamba Osaka), Alessandro Santos (Urawa Reds), Yuji Nakazawa (Yokohama F. Marinos), Keisuke Tsuboi (Urawa Reds), Shinji Murai (Jubilo Iwata), Akira Kaji (Gamba Osaka), Yuichi Komano (Sanfrecce Hiroshima), Teruyuki Moniwa (FC Tokyo) Midfielders: Takashi Fukunishi (Jubilo Iwata), Mitsuo Ogasawara (Kashima Antlers), Shinji Ono (Urawa Reds), Yasuhito Endo (Gamba Osaka), Yuki Abe (JEF United Chiba), Makoto Hasebe (Urawa Reds) Forwards: Tatsuhiko Kubo (Yokohama F. Marinos), Atsushi Yanagisawa (Kashima Antlers), Keiji Tamada (Nagoya Grampus Eight), Seiichiro Maki (JEF United Chiba), Hisato Sato (Sanfrecce Hiroshima) . Ecuador squad: Goalkeepers: Cristian Mora (LDU), Edwin Villafuerte (Deportivo Quito) Defenders: Neicer Reasco (LDU), Juan Trivino (Emelec), Jose Luis Perlaza (Olmedo), Giovanny Espinoza (LDU), Paul Ambrossi (LDU) Midfielders: Marlon Ayovi (Deportivo Quito), Edwin Tenorio (Barcelona), Patricio Urrutia (LDU), Leonardo Soledispa (Barcelona), Luis Fernando Saritama (Deportivo Quito), Edison Mendez (LDU), Antonio Valencia (Recreativo Huelva, Spain) Forwards: Johnny Baldeon (Barcelona), Gustavo Figueroa (El Nacional), Ivan Kaviedes (Argentinos Juniors, Argentina) Walter Calderon (Deportivo Cuenca). Edison Mendez ( 5 goals on Conmebol World Cup Qualifiers 2006 ) and Agustin Delgado ( 4 goals on Conmebol World Cup Qualifiers 2006 ) are out. both are top and 2nd scorers of that World Cup Qualifiers 2006 for their NT. also out is defender Ulises De la Cruz who is very important.
