  1. Re: Shakhtar Donetsk v Manchester United - Wednesday October 2nd

I have a funny feeling that United bounce back with a very good display. This is a solid squad, maybe not playing so well, but you don't become bad players overnight. These guys are used to winning , so losing burns them as well. They will all be fired up. They know that past reputations mean little, and Moyes will be evaluating them game-by-game. Perhaps the 'we are not good enough' was a little reverse psychology .... Moyes is no fool, but what hurt him the most in the new job was his commitment to Everton. It did not give him enough chance to get things settled in smoothly. Resulted in bad transfer window, and not being up to speed with recognition of his core 15 players, and how they need to be setup and played. Whoever gets picked, has a huge chance to make a starting position his for the season. Most slots, except for De Gea, Van Persie and Rooney, Vidic, Evra, Carrick are open !!!! Some of these guys are playing / or should be playing for their lives. Reputations, Ego's, Pride, and futures are at stake. It's a perfect game to kick start the season and get things back on track. Shaktar will probably have a full go, and I can see United scoring a couple on the break. I really fancy a United response, a rock solid outing and an away win ! 3 units on the away win 19/20 bet365
Couldn't agree more! I think United will bounce back in style. They will still be vulnerable at the back and I expect them to concede but they will outscore their opponents.
  2. Re: Juventus v Galatasaray SK - Wednesday October 2nd I'd look at the goals markets in this tie; over 2.5 goals. In both Galatasaray's and Juve's last 4 champions league games (including qualifiers) there has been over 2.5 goals. Juve have quality striking options (Pogba, Quagliarella) and Gala will look to get off to an effective start in the champs under new management. I'd expect a high scoring sraw but for a bet, over 2.5 goals is my punt for tonight.

  3. Re: Manchester City v FC Bayern München > Wednesday October 2nd I can see City bouncing back and getting something out of the game. Aguero and Silva are back and they will want to respond from the weekends defeat and ahead of their difficult tie at the weekend against in form Everton. What a mean by getting something out of the game is a point at best. I am looking at the goals markets and a high scoring draw. I'm looking at 2-2 for the correct score and a separate bet of over 2.5 goals.

  4. Re: Arsenal v Napoli - Tuesday October 1st Both teams are on a great run of form going into the game and agreeing with the majority in the post over 2.5 goals looks like a tempting bet. There has been over 2.5 goals scored in 5 of Napoli's last 6 games and arsenal have scored at least 2 goals in their last 4 matches in the champions league. I do expect goals regardless of the outcome, both teams strengths are within the midfield and striking options.

  5. Re: Fulham v Stoke City > Saturday October 5th Apart from the last defeat at home to Norwich, Stoke have had a different approach to the season, reducing the huff upfront and trying to actually play football. I watched them at home to Man City earlier in the season and they played them off the park. As for Fulham they have had a poor start to the season, apart from the win on the first day of the season and the comeback against Everton in the Capital One cup (which was lucky) they have been lacklustre despite their promising strike force. The game looks nailed on to be a draw which these stats; Stoke have failed to win 28 of their last 31 away games and Fulham have lost 6 of their last 7 home matches in the premier league. Do expect fireworks, wouldn't be surprised if this ended 0-0.
