Re: Manchester United v Crystal Palace > Sat 14th September Guys, the only thing that makes me "twitchy " here is David Moyes. Don't get me wrong - a great manager for Everton, can take players from lower leagues and turn them into a premier team, but can he do it with class players at this level ? I think he will in time, but in time is not now, and Ian Holloway can be a shrewd cookie tactically too. Man U W1, D1, L1 does not look impressive, until you realise who the opposition were - Chelsea and Liverpool. I think Moysey's men will overcome Palace, but how well is an unknown in my book - still 1-0 in the 96th minute still wins me money as well as a 8-0 drubbing , though at odds of c 1.2 it wont be singles for my money

Hi Rosupro At first glance Watford do look a reasonable punt, but if you drill down their success is not that impressive as of yet. ( we are still in the early days of the season ) e.g Watford have only won 2 , drawn 2 and lost 1 of their 5 league games as opposed to Charlton's W1, D1, L3. Given that Watford's draw against reading relied on an injury time equaliser and they lost their last game to Blackpool, their form is not too clear in my eyes. Charlton on the other hand have had a poor start to the season, but a 2-1 win against Leicester is not to be sniffed at - and that was Leicester's only loss of the season, they may have turned the corner. Don't let me put you off Watford - they have every chance, but given the uncertainty of the form so far - I think there are better games for my money than this risky oneHey , Why nobody mention Watford today ? They have strong team and great trainer (G.Zola ) . One single defeat in 5 matches , last round in 81' min at Blackpool ... I think Charlton is not capable to make something here ... Any info ?
