  1. Re: Kempton 17/07/07 Kempton 20:45 Romany Nights 8/1 Finished 1st and 2nd for the last two starts. Both at this track and distance. Has Seb Sanders on board and a good price of 8/1 @ Ladbokes. Has two career wins on standard ground and they are both over CD. Mr Cellophane 15/2 Lifetime All Weather form looks good for an e/w bet. In 4 starts it's finished 2nd twice, once 3rd, and has one win. :hope:hope

  4. Re: Question about Newmarket I'd ask the RP for you but they've formed a habit to not answer my e-mail(s).... -http://www.attheraces.com/course.asp?CID=4 ROWLEY MILE COURSE This is used in the Spring and Autumn for the first two Classics and then for some major two-year-old races which set the standard for the following year’s Classics. Both legs of the Autumn Double (the Cambridgeshire and Cesarewitch) are run on this extraordinary course. Set in the wide-open space, the Rowley course runs for 2½ miles — the last mile and a quarter being straight. Speed, stamina and class are the main ingredients for success here but experience is also at a premium — frequently in juvenile races a horse with experience will have an advantage over a newcomer — no matter how talented the debutant turns out to be in subsequent races. JULY COURSE Less formal than the Rowley Mile Course, the July Course is steeped in atmosphere — just visit the pre-parade ring under the beech trees to experience it. Despite the relaxed surroundings the requirements for success here are just as demanding. One of the high points of the summer season is the three-day July Meeting. It is fascinating to see how the horses that took part at Royal Ascot the previous month progress (or not). The course is 2 miles 24 yards in length and has a right-hand bend leading in to the final Bunbury Mile. Sir Mark Prescott regards this as the stiffest final furlong in the country. newmarft.gifnewmarjulyft.gif -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newmarket_Racecourse The Rowley Mile Course has a straight of 1 mile 2 furlongs (2,012 m) with minor undulations towards 'The Bushes', two furlongs (400 m) out. The penultimate furlong (200 m) is downhill and the last is uphill, forming 'The Dip'. Races beyond the distance of 1 m 2f (2,012 m) start on the 'Cesarewitch' or 'Beacon' course which turns right-handed into the straight. The July Course has a straight of 1 mile, known as 'The Bunbury Mile'. After two furlongs (400 m), there is a long downhill stretch before the uphill furlong (200 m) to the finish. This course also uses the 'Cesarewitch/Beacon' course for longer distances, again turning right into the straight. The Rowley Mile is used for racing in the Spring and Autumn, while the July Course is used in Summer.

TS & RPR system selection. Not bothered to NAP the previous runners racing the 3yo only handicaps from the TS system since the win of The Grey Berry (July 7th). Following selections both won - King's Apostle and Rosbay. Those three runners combined for a profit of 11 pts - 2/1, 6/1, 3/1 winners. Overall, it falls in the catgory of 3yo only Hc for the TS system. Opened 9/2 at bet365 and betfred - currently as low as 5/2 with stanjames.
    un...placed.

  9. Found a lay system...using the ratings of TS and RPR...it's very simple. Any runners that is top rated in TS AND RPR that is under 80 for both sections is a lay. Best for 2yo's because the result shows a loss of 51.10 from 64 qualifers (4 winners, 29 placed). The last 45 runners have not had a winner. Avg SP is 10.97 (includes one 100/1 shot...the highest SP's are 100, 66, 66, 66, 33, 33, 25, 20, 18, 14, 12, 12, 10 with the rest 9 or under... Copy of the spreadsheet is attached to this message. I suggest to only lay the 2yo's...you'll see.
