  1. Re: UEFA Europa League > August 20th & 21st I think Partizan home win is on of the best picks from today's card. Partizan were unlucky to be eliminated by Ludogoretz second year in a row despite being the weaker side. Their fains are fantastic and enjoy their time in Europe. Being eliminated at this stage by an azeri team would be a complete disaster and this Partizan team has no more room for error. They are lucky to get a weak team for the draw and it is about time they make sth of this.

  2. Re: Europa League Second Qualifying Round 1st Leg - Wednesday 16th to Thursday 17th J CSKA Sofia - Zimbru (Moldova) First official game for CSKA Sofia. Three star players left the team because of financial issues. However, non-greedy devoted players stayed. The coach is betting on quality experienced players with lots of games in this competition. Bulgarian teams do not tend to lose at these stages and if it happens it is considered a disaster. CSKA are counting on entering the group stage in order not to go bankrupt. Home fans are always a big boost for this side. If CSKA is going out of this tournament it is not gonna be at this stage and certainly not going to lose the first home game. Last season CSKA kept a clean sheet at home against almost every team with the exception of Ludogorets. Zimbru overcame a Macedonian side to be here. They lost the away game. CSKA Sofia - Home win. I will probably be taking Litex and Botev Plovdiv DNB because the opposition is weak.

  3. Re: La Liga > April 25th - 28th

i am worried about espanyol v almeria as i opted for the home team in my accumulator but now i see almeria having a lot of motivation and fight to avoid relegation and espanyol are definitely beatable doh! i will hope for the best. i would have rather avoided this match but its too late now
If things are ok with your other matches you can probably bet on almeria and lock a profit...
  4. Re: Europa League Semi-Finals > Thursday April 24th

Sevilla are in excellent form' date='i need to repeat excellent form, crushing teams at home, even the mighty Real Madrid a few weeks ago were beaten (2-1).They have hit top form at the right time and are now only 3 points from a champions league place behind Athletico Bilbao who they meet (unbelievably) at the weekend. The way they beat Porto in the last round was impressive and i expect a similar performance and home win even with one eye on the huge weekend game.Bet 365 4/5.[/quote'] I did not quite get what are they concentrating on? Win tonight or win in a few days? Maybe lose both?
  5. Re: Norwich City v Liverpool > Sunday April 20th I agree with Schillaci. Huge bet on AW here. However, Chelsea game should not be brought up as a motivational factor. If Chelsea won you would have said "Chelsea won, they need to win to keep up the pace". Now if anything they have room for error. I don't think that will happen though. Too much at stake combined with some quality will be enough today.

  6. Re: Manchester City v Sunderland > Wednesday April 16th

Just a little warning here. Sunderland played very well against Everton and surely did not deserve to lose. They probably would have lost if it wasn't for a lucky own goal. Right now they are a different than other bottom sides. They can play organized attacking football. 1.17 is just TOO short. Please don't write "put money on AW then" - it is a statement that suggests that you are far away from the basics of betting.
I hope more of you fellow punters took the warning seriously. 1.17... this was disgusting.

  8. Re: Paris Saint-Germain v Chelsea > Wednesday April 2nd

This could not be a better time for Laurent Blanc's Paris Saint Germain to play Chelsea as Jose Mourinho's charges have found themselves in a bit of a hole at the moment. They have only won 1 of their last 6 away games in all competitions and does not bode well for them travelling over to France to play a highly talented and dangerous side like PSG. They have also lost their last 2 league away games in a row to Aston Villa and Crystal Palace without scoring a goal. PSG have won their last nine games in a row, seven of which they kept a clean sheet, so morale must be extremely high in the camp at the moment. I think PSG are value at 11/10 with Boylesports to win this fixture, I personally would have made them odds-on. A very big blow for Chelsea is the news that Samuel Eto'o will be out for this fixture with a hamstring injury and he has been a real attacking threat of late and a real good source for their goals. Nemanja Matic will not be able to play as he is cup tied because he played in Europa for Benfica earlier in the season. Ashley Cole is also still out but it is good news for PSG as they will have a fully fit squad to choose from. Chelsea have not defended well of late and they are in for a very tough night with Lavezzi, Cavani and Ibrahimovic running at them for 90 minutes. John Obi Mikel is expected to start for Chelsea and Schurrle is likely to partner Torres up top in what could be a 4-5-1 formation for Chelsea. These two sides have met just once in the past and Chelsea won that game 3-0 back in the 2004-05 season but that has no bearing on this game whatsoever. PSG have been impressive in the Champions League so far this season with their only defeat away to Benfica when the group was already theirs. They demolished Bayer Leverkusen 6-1 on aggregate in the last round and they won't fear Chelsea one bit. One thing they have that Chelsea don't is a lethal strike force and that could be the difference. Chelsea have had a relatively easy passage to this stage of the competition having played Bucharest, Basel, Schalke and Galatasaray but we will see what they are made of here because they will be tested. I like your analysis and at this price PSG HW is indeed value. However it is not by much and one should only play this bet according to his bankroll. The more I think the more i favor BTTS.
  9. Re: Arsenal v Manchester City > Saturday March 29th

It is amazing to me how much support does the AW get here. It is still 3rd against 4th in the league. Wenger is a good and experienced coach. His only error this season is that he did not sign a quality striker when it is obvious that he needs at least one. They would have probably still be in the chamions league if they did not get bayern. My point is that Arsenal have a very sharp team that deserves some respect. And yes' date=' City are probably winning the league.[/quote'] And of course another decent performance by Arsenal at home. Now, don't start blaming Pelegrini's team because they played the same way they play all the time. There was no value whatsover on AW.

  11. Re: Liverpool v Sunderland > Wednesday March 26th

I'd say that's suicide. While there's some motivation factor on sunderland's side' date=' Liverpool are just too strong for them. Last 5 Liverpool's encounters ended with 3+ goals. And they did it against far better teams than Sunderland. I strongly believe that U 2.5 goals here is a suicide.[/quote'] Over 2.5 is 1.35 at my bookie and I can't agree that there is any value here. Nevertheless, i added the home win at 1.17 to my accum knowing that there is no value there either.
  12. Re: Liverpool v Sunderland > Wednesday March 26th My gut feeling is tht Sunderland will try very hard to get at least a point here and try to keep it tight from the start. They are also a low scoring team having scored once in the last 4 league games. Remember that it is a team in the danger zone and this is a huge motivating factor. You are all relying on Liverpool's fierce offence, but I think value here is on under 2.5 goals. 1:0 will get the three points.

  13. Re: West Ham v Hull City > Wednesday March 26th I am favoring the home side here. West Ham are in a streak of 3 losses in a row, but they deserved to get at least 3-4 points. They had lots of injured players that are back in the squad and had a few games to get back in shape. I think it is finally time they scrape some points. This is a good opportunity on home turf against a team that is surely not better. Hull will be lacking Boyd who got sent off.

  14. Re: Newcastle United v Everton > Tuesday March 25th

71% (10 games) of Everton's away half-time scores this season have been 0:0. 40% (6 games) of Newcastle's home half-time scores this season have been 0:0. Half-time correct score 0:0 seems a decent bet @2.75 (bet365) considering Everton's conservative approach away and Newcastle's lame attack.
It does seem like a value bet, but still correct scores are too risky for me. I have been observing how Everton have been losing steam lately and this stadium seems to be a likely place where they can drop points.
  15. Re: Manchester United v Manchester City > Tuesday March 25th

I was leaning Man City as well(just like most of the world) but when I saw the odds I thought to myself' date=' wait a minute, every time I took a bet that "looked too good to be true", especially a huge public bet with great odds I got burned every time. If there is something I've learned from sports betting is that bookies do not give out gifts and are not stupid enough to set lines like the ones in this game. Conclusion: Manchester United will get something out of this game, most probably a draw.[/quote'] I am sorry to be the one to tell you this, but bookies do not set odds based on their judgement of who will win the game. They balance the odds so that they win at each outcome. The odds are mostly based on how people bet at the particular bookie and so these odds are a reflection of what most people think about this game. If you really do think there is a greater than 40% chance that City will take the three points then you should consider betting on the away win as this will be a value bet for you.
  16. Re: La Liga > March 21st - 24th BETIS - ATLETICO MADRID I thought I posted earlier... The odds have drifted already. Betis are last place. They just played Europa League game against city rivals. Moreover, it went into over time. On the other hand Atletico are fresh and highly motivated due to the Real - Barca game taking place at the same time. If you still have doubts Atletico are just the better team. I personally managed to play the away win at 1.67. It is one of those games that has to come good.
