Troyes suffered a lot on defense, last round vs Ajaccio, and they have some reals problems of efficency in front of the goal when it comes to finish correctly the job. Nancy are on a really good dynamic, they made a superb 2nd half vs Créteil, and Le Havre, were a bit lucky vs Niort. But the most important, is that players look happy to play, and the whole squad is well managed by Correa. For me there is a value on Nancy+0.5 @ 1.79, as I expect them to be very dangerous offensively.

Well on a night like tonight I'm glad to have only lost one bet. No complaints really, Sochaux could've drawn but they wouldn''t have deserved to win. In fact, the way they played 2nd half was downright appalling. They showed no fight after falling behind, just terrible really. Somehow I managed to swerve other losers tonight, it could've been a potential massacre again considering the results. ZERO home wins here which is just unheard of in Ligue 2. This place is a complete graveyard at the moment for favourite and home backers. I can't call this ligue right now, for the first time in a long time I have to admit I haven't got a clue about some sides - things are just too close and loads of teams are of the same ability and strength. We need to see trends change and we need to establish a proper running order. Basically, the ligue needs to settle down. Until then, I just don't see how the division can be profitable.

I fully agree with you Meatman. I follow the ligue 2, and the teams are so close in terms of level, that betting on this league seems to be a pure gambling. Yesterday, I was really happy not to place bets. May be the league cup played in mid-week disturbs the clubs. Odds dropped heavily in favor of Dijon, yesterday, and I think the bookies or the syndicates are informed by someone by someone inside the club, because I dont remember such a massive drop half an hour before k-o. Sochaux -0.25 @ 2.01 and finished Sochaux+0.25 @ 1.85....

Most of them are not injuried, that makes me think that D'alloglio dont give the priority to this trophy. Furthermore, Dijon looks a bit tired physically vs Auxerre (W1-0), and wasted a lot. On the other hand Laval will be without Robic and Goncalves, but their start of L2 is not that bad (3D, 1L) and in terms of football, they are better than their rank shows. Vs Sochaux (W2-0) on Lcup, they definitly deserved to win, and this game proved that this trophy is important for the club. Bet Laval (0) @ 1.94

Augusto is back on defence, but this team is out of confidence in each part of the play, especially at home, where they are not really well supported by their fans. Laval is going better and better: Cappone brought back serenity on defence and Bekamenga has a real talent on attack. Surely everything is not perfect for Laval which still have worries to finish games. But the slight improvement of Laval combined to the difficult situation of Créteil, make me think that Laval has a small advantage here. Laval+0.25 @ 1.98 stake 5/10

At home, Dijon used to show a quite offensive face, 11 goals scored at home in their last 3 games. Furthermore they are fighting for the promotion in L1, so they can't afford to wait for Creteil to attack. On the other side Creteil's defence is quite poor we saw it vs Lens (L2-3), and even more at away with already 24 goals taken. But offensively, especially with Lesage or N'Dioye they have a quite efficient attack able to be dangerous in each raid in opponents'penalty areas. I don't think Créteil are able to wait serenly on defence, they will have to be much more active on counter-attacks: that's why I go for an over on that match. But some of them finished very well for Niort, especially vs Clermont or Caen. Furthermore, this club is not ready to go in L1, and they are not actually fighting for the promotion in L1. On the other side, Nimes are clearly better since Marsiglia is the new coach: only 1 L in their last 7 games. They made an even game vs Arles in a regional derby, and held very well vs the leader Metz, and could even have won. They are 17th at 1 only 1 point from the relegation zone, so they have to fight hard to be saved. For the motivation might be a lot more for Nimes'side because of that, especially at home. Defensively they are quite strong, with the best defence of L2 while offensively they miss a good striker able to finish the job. That's the only reason why they are not at the top 3 of L2. Caen played a really hard game vs Lille (3-3) in cup tuesday. They were eliminited after pk, and spent a lot of energy in that match. Furthermore, Agouazzi and Seube are injuried. I think it will be harder than bookies think for them to find openings in Arles defence, and I think 0.75 is a good value at that that price. Bet: Arles+0.75 @ 1.84

Nancy showed an offensive face in their last 2 games vs Tours(W1-3) and Le Havre(W2-3), but defensively they conceded a lot. They in front of their fans and are still fighting for the promotion, they should keep on playing very offensive. On the other side, Creteil is also satisfying on attack, vs Clermont (W2-0) they had many good chances, but defensively they are clearly not enough concentrated on marking. So their best strength is the attack, and they need points, they can't wait on their half serenly. Re: Coupe De France > February 11th - 13th Well the Coupe de France is now the lonely trophy Monaco can reach this season, as the Ligue 1 is almost certain for PSG. 2 important missings for Nice tonight: Digard, and Pecjinovic, and Puel have not said his intention about the keeper: Ospina or Hansen, but if Ospina is not the keeper, I expect Nice to be much more febril on defence, and from what they showed vs Valenciennes, it might be tough for them to resist.
