  1. Re: Lay Of The Day Wednesday

I think the best lay of the day comes in the 9.20 Kempton' date=' a horse which has won its last 2 but has it all to do this evening, Bucharest a good lay at a good lay price, i will also be laying this one on the place market.:ok
Well done derby, good lay there. 2nd 6/5 Now i remember why i dont post.
  2. Re: 2006 Derby and Oaks... Good Thred. I have allready posted my selection for the Derby on my own thred but i think its worth putting up here. Not posted any tips lately because i cant seem to find the winners and cant spell, and don't want to lead anyone to a bum steer but i cant resist this little one. I was looking at the Derby entrants and checking the prices on offer on, the horse which i would like to tip up is SIENNA STORM and is a general 500/1 and 550 on Betfair, to me this is way way to big, ask your self what has he done wrong on his last 2 starts, I'll tell you, NOTHING. He has a massive addvantage over a few of the others having allready raced at epsom and was a cracker as well, 26th April 2006 only a 3 horse race, according to the R.P site had a mountain to climb and i agree but finished a close up 3rd but only 2.5 length behind the winner so this form also looks good because you need pace at Epsom and SIEANNA STORM has it in abundance so he will be up there from the off, before this race Michael Hills gave some encouraging reports after ridding him at home in work. While i was trying to find something to beat the fav i came up with CHAMPIONSHIP POINT and looking at this horses form noticed SIENNA STORM finished 2nd to it at Goodwood on the 6th May beaten only 4l, coming from the back staying on strongly to pip Senor Dali. Nothing may come of this but at epsom you need a key things, PACE and a TURN OF FOOT, SIENNA STORM has both. He is not a world beater but at 500/1 is a smashing e/w bet. And i wouldn't look any further than TIME ON for the Oaks.

  4. Re: A little fun Tuesday selections is PATXARON 1.50 Sedg. Drombeag was the actuall bet but no way was i going to get any more than 1.11 at the moment so gone with the second highest today and matched 3.48 early on this morning. Stake £2.59 price 3.48 yesterday lost but 2 was not matched so bank before today £10.32 Lost bank at £7.32

  5. At this moment in time i have the princely sum of £13.32 in my betfair account and didnt even know i had it in there as i have been using a different exchange for a while, so i am going to have a little experiment with it and hopefully a little fun. I actually started yesterday when the amount was £10 and placed %50 of the bank on Saltango @ 1.7 to win 3.50, after commision the total now stands at 13.32. At the moment the stakes are very low but hopefully they will increase if the winners keep coming, i will be selecting one horse per day from the massey ratings and will be what Adrian thinks is the bet of the day regarding how far the top rated is clear on points so there is no secret where the selections are comming from, the wager will depen on the price of the selection if over or equel to 5 on betfair we will be going win and place upto % 50 of bank, the place bet will depend on the price available as a cover bet for the win part. If the selection is between 2 and 4.9 then %25 of bank will be staked, any less than 2 (odds on) then %50 will be staked. Bank £13.32 Selection for Monday, WISE OWL 4.30 Ling now this depends wether we get the prices or not, as i was on betfair the market was suspended due to Newnham being taken out, i have requested £3 @ 5 on the win and £3.50 @ 2 for the place so here is hopeing its taken.

  6. Not posted for a few weeks due to work comitments and a much needed break. I would love to give reasons for my selections but duty calls and open up at 12. all round robins. 2.30 Exeter LEASE BACK 1.40 Hereford TRAPRAIN 2.10 Hereford COLLINE DE FLEURS 2.0 Exeter MICKY COLE 4.30 Exeter CRAVEN 4.10 Hereford BARON BLITZKRIEG 2.40 Hereford SUNLEY FUTURE 3.10 Hereford SIR CUMFERENCE 3.40 Hereford VERY SPECIAL ONE Good Luck Every One Today. Big Question on everyones lips, after all this waiting will Racing Demon do the biz today ???, i think not, and i am having a little e/w on CORNISH SET.

  7. This horse has a pedigree to die for, family include Slip Anchor and Sadlers Wells. He has not won a race since 28th Dec 2002 over todays distance of just over 3 mile on gdst ground, the race in question was only a novice race but won well, on this particular day he had a rating of 119, ran on 29th Nov of a mark of 120 against the likes of Baracouda fair enough he was 100/1 and deserved to be he didn't stand a chance. Today he has a OR of 95 his lowest mark ever and the opposition is nothing to write home about. In his previous runs he has been simply out classed, 12th Jan 2006 class 3.. 0-120.........2nd Dec class 3.. 0-120.........6th nov class 3.. 0-130..........31st Dec 2003 class b..0-145 this goes on and on. Today down to class 4 ..0-100 now this is more like it. SEA DRIFTING 2.50 Leicester is now 9 yrs old so i am taking a chance that he still retains some ability that it must have shown at home when with Ferdy Murphy, they must have had a lot of respect for him for them to put him against Barracuda has i have already said, also, Irish Hussar, One Knight, La Landiere, Latimers Place, Keen Leader and The Bajan Bandit. Like i say its a gamble but i feel a decent gamble e/w, hes got the going the distance and the opposition has come down to a very good level.:ok

  9. Re: A/W. system based selections I think Ralphie that the conections are looking to make a few bob with KALLISTA'S PRIDE, i remember watching "Get On" on A.T.R and they interviewed a few trainers and the obviouse thing any reporter asks is "have you anything in your stable for us to watch out for" and the reply was KALLISTA'S PRIDE, its run a few times since then but has never done anything even though in its races it seems to be travling better than any in the race but always seems to get boxed in or traped on the rail, one day, one day, it'll come home at a very nice price mark my words.

  10. Re: Derby's Novice Chase System. No i won't give up socky just because of a few loosers, if you got winners all the time it would get very boring lol, I'd be very rich but bored, lol. Only one winner today at 8/11 making a 1.27 pt loss on the day but what goes around comes around (i hope). A few week ago i was considering not betting/using the system at week-ends as it does terrible, to much class around, very competitive.

  11. Messed up with my very first post yesterday:wall my system is based around Novice Chase's and yesterdays selection was a h/cap chase but not to worry alway another day. Friday's Selection was.......3.10 Chep GRACEFUL DANCER wich was badly hamperd and unseated rider. 1.30 winc VONORIGNY fell 2.20 Ling LE VOLFONI 2nd 2.45 Hay DON'T BE SHY :ok Won 8/11 Selection's......4 Win's..............1 Placed............1 L.S.P..............= - 2.27

  12. Re: Hello, first post. bowles10, peronally i would rather se some kind of reason for the selection wich if it was a selection i have chosen through study i would post the reason i have selected it but as you know you cant really do it with system bets, i have been posting on another forum, the lsp is in front but after many selections, since i have put the fillters in it is giving a strike rate of approx 65%, now wether its going to fall flat on its face we will have to wate and see.

  13. Well with a name like derbypub you would expect me to start of with somthing like this :cheers or this :gimme well i do love my beer and cant seem to get enough of it, lol. Reason for post is very simple, i have been doing this System for a long time and it seems to be proffitable (so far), the down fall is it seems to just give Fav's but i look at it this way a winner is a winner and with systems the object of the excercise is to make proffit over time. A few month ago the system was giving 5-6 or more selections a day but after a couple of fillters were introduced its now down to as little as 10 - 15 per week. Now if every one doesnt mind a system thred i will post my selections each day (when work permits) and do a L.S.P. Selections for Friday. 3.10 Chep GRACEFUL DANCER u.r.....
