  1. Re: May 6 - May 12

Seppi to bt Clown-Foggy @2.01 Pinacle (3/10) Fognini, after his good run in Monte Carlo, finds himself again in his infamous clown mode. Lost to Carreno-Busta in Portugal (which is not that big disaster), and diabolicaly fukked up his match vs Youzhny in Madrid (which must have made deep impact into his mental state). He was 5-4 up in the decider and served for the match, having 3 matchpoints at 40-0. Now guess what happened next - LOL. This clown took it to tie-break and lost. I think that his compatriot Seppi is going to crush him today.
I had a rare massive bet on Seppi today and seemed pretty confident till I read your post, then the real fear set in. The sudden realization that I could lose my money having read your comments about Fognini. I do not know how it happens, but it always happens to me with alarming constitency. It is not your fault anyway. However you should not have mouthed him off! lol!!!!

I agree with you that it may be worth a gamble but on low-medium stakes. As we all know it can be so very difficult to depend soly on seedings and mathematical analysis to reach conclusions especially in the ITF or WTA for that matter. It is quite possible that the 24yr old Bolivian mentally checked out of the match early in surrender or it just could be possible that you have found a needle in a haystack. It also may be worth noting that Muhammed is a good player and has a few good victories to her name. I suggest you follow her a bit if she beats Davidson because she really crossed my mind this week. I back her yesterday too.!! Good luck!!!
Guardiola, remember Aisha Muhammed and this reply? One game to go now. Out of curiosity, I googled her to see a photo of her. Interesting!! Reminds me clearly of the Williams and of late, Stephens. I really think she will wrap up a brilliant week tomorrow. A banker as good or even better than Serena beating Sharapova tomorrow. Gl
  3. Re: May 6 - May 12 Murray VS Berdych This for all intents and purposes looks the most interesting matchup of today's fixtures. Murray struggled against Simon yesterday for a while but finally overpowered him possibly by a sudden realization of the opportunity that lay ahead of him, considering that Federer and the Djoker were no longer in it to win it. One line of reasoning that could throw the punter off target is the assumption that Simon was never in form or playing well and that for Murray to struggle past Simon was an indication of a Berdych victory. Nothing has changed my perception about Berdych's perceived current form - clearly suspect!! He has done nothing so far and is yet to meet a real gritty opponent. Common! In Anderson he beat a regular customer who actually has not found the key to playing the Byrd. Janowicz on the other hand is still in ATP pampers and clearly has a lot of bottle-feeding left to do. Murray has just come back to number 2 and will now be eager to make a statement. Berdych leading 2-0 on the clay front even gives me more confidence on this bet in a way coupled by the fact that Berdych is now very popular on the internet.(Always a big indication in my experience) Gl everyone!!!!

  5. Re: May 6 - May 12 Reg, I like your writeup on Tsonga/Haase but I am not very convinced about the outcome. My head tells me that it will be a Tsonga victory but my mind definately insists that it will not be easy by any means. I was worried about the beginning of your last paragraph@ the only thing you can imagine that will screw it up....... hehehehe (lol). I think Haase is underrated and currently playing well enough not to be taken from granted in a matchup without previous history! Still, good luck bro!

  6. Re: April 29 - May 5 Dolgopolov vs Dodig On the men's side of things every match just has the feeling of looking easily predictable, and this poses a real challenge to the punter. Let's face it, there is always that unsuspecting awkward match daily that ends up messing up the parlays of many nationwide. This is a match I feel must be assessed carefully. The question is was Dolgo playing badly against Headcase Tursunov or was Tursunov playing reasonably well? The head to head might be 1-0 Dodig, however that was on hard courts. I strongly feel Dolgo fully zoned in on clay will be too much for Dodig, especially with the slices and varying spins. Dolgo reminds me of Oprandi, hard to match their body language to the level of intensity in play. Sometimes they both look disinterested interested; Dolgo might just rubish the form of Dodig and move into overdrive without notice. Good luck!!!!!!

  7. Re: April 29 - May 5 There seems to be something lurking in the air concerning the Fognini/Lorenzi match up which I really cannot fully put my hands on. I just know in my heart as much as I have pondered over it that there is a big danger sign regarding the outcome. The h2h may favor Fognini, but the circumstances may conflict with that favor. Apart from it being a tasty Italian derby to look forward to, there is also the obvious fact that Lorenzi has suddenly become a better player in his latter years. He reached his highest ranking of 49 only this year and is certainly fresher than a tired Fognini. It will certainly be a superhuman effort for Fognini to win in two, that is even if he wins at all. Lorenzi in 2 or 3 sets for me!

  8. Re: April 22 - April 28 Well, Stosur was out of sorts up until the Voegele match where we expected her to lose. She some overturned Voegele next day after the rain delay but was still not very convincing. You may be right in saying that clay is Stosur best surface, but it also appears to be Jankovic's as well. Over the last year her best record has been on clay 11-6. Jankovic has a 5-2h2h over Stosur with one of Stosur's easy win coming on clay. To me that victory is uncorroborated as it could have happened on any other surface. In fact both Stosur victories happen in the same period within a space of 2 months.....which imo tells more about a drop in the form of JJ. To round up. I believe that JJ is a better mover on the red dust and is quick enough to keep Stosur from running round the backhand too often. I also believe that JJ's newly found form is set to continue for a while. She is fresher than Stosur and should be able to stand tall enough.

  9. Re: March 18 - March 31

For tomorrow: Back Kamke to beat Melzer: 2,67 @ Unibet Melzer started to regain his form after a big slump but he played against low quality players and a lot of his matches went to 3 sets. Tobias Kamke on the other hand beat Del Potro in 2 sets in the last round, and that's enough for me to back Kamke with this price. Seriously I don't get these odds. Back Djokovic -6,5 games to beat Dev Varman: 1,65 @ MarathonBet They are not of the same quality. I think Nole will hold his serves easily, while breaking Dev Varman 4 times is expected by the world no.1 Thumbs up for Atko, nice picks today :clap
Just thought I should point something out on Kamke before you put all your eggs in his basket(lol). Del Potro's loss had more to do with complete fatigue than any credit being awarded to Kamke. Taking that victory away from him leaves him bare and suspect. He could still win though!!
  10. Re: March 18 - March 31

Back Victor Hanescu to beat Kei Nishikoro. 5' date=75 @ bwin (3/10) I´d like to add Regnavettos statement of the match. For sure Nishikori is the better player and in normal condition, he would win that, but I´ve watched him play against Berlocq last week in Indian Wells, after he had retired in Delray Beach. He wasn´t only cruel and disastrous, but also seemed injured. He served like a woman with no speed both on first and second serve and was lucky that Berlocq´s returned were that bad either. Hanescu is a clay courter, but he´s experienced and the conditions in Miami will suit him. So, I see massive value in this pick. I´ll take this at a one ball bookie to be payed out, if Nishikori retires. Back Nikolay Davydenko (-2,5 games) to beat Alexandr Dolgopolov. 2,01 @ pinnacle (6/10) I don´t like backing Davydenko and I don´t like backing his opponent either, because many of his games seems strange or even fixed. But in last times Dabydenko was more "consistent" in his play, although the match against Lorenzi (according to some rumours he is well known for some fixing, too) seemed to be crazy again. 6:0 2:6 6:0. Typical Davydenko performance. So why do I take that? Because just on on-court reasons, Davydenko should win this game. Dolgopolov is out of shape, and Davydenko isn´t. He should profit from this as he is able to keep the ball in game until the opponents makes errors. Davydenko should also have the experience and the calm to respond on Dologpolovs flexible play. I could imagine the odds will drop more and more till the game begins. Back James Blake to beat Julien Benneteau. 2,33 @ pinnacle (5/10) I totally agree with Regnavettos analysis, but will take the more risky one. I think Blake can win this games, odds should be even. Daniela Hantuchova vs Sara Errani over 20,5 games. 1,94 @ marathonbet (6/10) The met two times this year, one game won Errani, one Hantuchova and both games went over three sets. The line seems to low here to give almost even odds. 7:5 6:3 would be enough. I´m also considering backing Hantuchova here, cause the odds just seem a bit too high (3,15). Errani should be favourite bacause she is in my opinion the better player and the slower conditions in Miami will suit her style of play. But it´s still hard court and she will face an opponent who has beaten her 5 times out of 8 games. What do you think? Back Urszula Radwanska to beat Ana Ivanovic. 2,56 @ marathonbet (5/10) I also see value in this pick. Two similar players meet here. In good days both of them can crash an opponent, and in bad days both can crash herself by making massive errors. Urszula is quite the opposite of her sister, way to inconsistent to be a top 10 player, but at recent times, she is in good shape, while Ivanovic isn´t. I just hope that Urszulas run continues and she is the one, that makes more points and less errors. Odds seem way to high here, considering Ivanovic as the player with more potential, but less shape.
I am very new on here, well....not that new, because I have for long being a regular outside visitor enjoying all the powerful tips that has come from this forum. I like your picks but particularly Hantuchova. Not because she has won 5 out of 8 h2hs, but because I think it is about time for the superhuman Errani to lose early in a tournament. She has really playd loads of tennis in the last few months,
