Think 2 years out of the game means you need to practice, practice, practice before thinking you can play well again! :( Had one particular hand where I should've pushed, but didn't ended up folding the nuts at the turn! Then went all-in short stacked thinking it had folded round to me, but turned out somebody had raised just before me - not paying attention! Enjoyed it though, will be back next week! :)

Re: Correct Scores - Doubles and Trebles Great thread, great idea, will have a punt at this at some point. Just a thought Hodgey, is it worth picking teams that are statistically low scoring? Just think (only my thoughts, you're clearly doing well with what you're already doing!) teams like Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, etc can sometimes throw up some random score lines if the opposite teams end up caving in, in the second half. A fixture like QPR v Stoke or something would have more chance of a 1-0 scoreline than Chelsea at home to a side struggling down the bottom of the table? Just a thought! :)

Re: BBOTD Monday 31st December 1.30 Lingfield Putin 9.8 win Betfair (2/10) 2.8 place Betfair (5/10) Raced 5 times @ Lingfield this month, and finished 2/2/2/3 in the last 4. Got the same jockey again today as the last 3 races, and has only been beaten by less than a length in the last 4 races. Field doesn't look too strong apart from Catalinas Diamond, but form shows Putin should finish in the top 3 at least!

Re: what do you hope to achieve poker wise for 2013? Used to play a lot years ago, probably broke even overall with the odd few tourney wins/runner ups I got online and in casinos aswell as doing okay at FL cash games - all low stakes. Problem I had was after making a small profit, I thought I could step it up a gear and play cash games with highers stakes - resulted in losing everytime. Couple of years ago, life got too busy and I just stopped playing. Lifes settled down again a little so hoping to start playing a few times a week again, if not daily! My arrogance and stupidity also meant I blankly refused to read any poker books, as I thought I knew it all and I would just use my 'own style', but think this year I will read a few books, make a single deposit and try and build my bankroll. No targets as such, just not to make a second deposit for the whole year!
