  1. Re: Poland > T-Mobile Ekstraklasa > 2014/15 Cracovia - Górnik ??czna When I was doing research for this upcoming match one thing paid my attention. Actually all people from Cracovia said that they will be fighting for 3 points but after that they always added: "this will be hard match", "the opponent is very difficult and dangerous", "they are playing very well", bla bla bla. It seems that they want to win, but already have a stinky shit in their pants. It is not a good point before a match with newcomer even if this is actually true that Górnik is not a team, which should be underestimated. What is important there were signs that there is no chemistry between coach Podoli?ski and players in Cracovia team. And again the same scenario. Players are saying that after preparing camp during the break for NT matches the atmodphere in the team is great and last result in Pozna? (draw 1:1) made that they have a good mood again and get ready for rumble. My opinion is that it is simply a bull shit and all team members say another behind TV camera and feel another inside their minds. Just an example - Steblecki (key player), who has gone to Cambuur in the last day of transfer window, because he was sitting on the bench from the start of the season. The guy, who mada difference in Cracovia last leason. I think there are a lot of things, which don't work well in Cracovia nowadays and it reflects in not so good results. Górnik will come to Kraków to play their best and the most effective strategy - quick counter attacks. Cracovia will be a perfect opponent for that kind of playing. First of all Cracovia doesn't feel good in positional attack (the same as all Polish clubs), but will need to create some chances to score. Secondly, current tactic of Cracovia (something like Italian tactic) will give a lot of opportunities to quick counters. And the most important thing - Górnik is really effective this season and score a lot of goals this way with no difficulties. To sum up, Cracovia wants to win, but actually do not have enough skills to make it easily. I estimate result around draw with tiny Górnik advantage. I will risk AH for Górnik as I cannot see any better result for Cracovia than a draw. Pick: Górnik ??czna AH-0,25 @2,50 Good luck!

  2. Re: Poland > T-Mobile Ekstraklasa > 2014/15 I would like to share my opinion on two upcoming matches in Polish Ektraklasa, which will be played today. Zawisza - Wis?a Zawisza with new coach Mariusz Rumak (ex-Lech coach, which has been fired after loss with Icelandic Stjarnan in EL). Generally team, which won Polish Cup last season, is just a crap this season. The main reason of this fact is strategic decision of their owner. He decided to sign a deal with Portugesse team (I guess FC Porto) and take a lot of pathetic players from Portugal along with new coach (already sacked by the way). In my opinion there is no team spirit and although they want to play offensive football, there is no quality to win the matches. I don't think that coach Rumak will change anything and help to back the club on right way. He is inexperienced coach though and have no ability to make the team playing better. You can take it for granted that he will be fired really quick. That is my opinion. On the other side Wis?a, which has been finally prepped properly by coach Smuda (btw I don't rate this guy highly). The truth is that they found players, who make the team solid. Stilic, Gargu?a in mid, G?owacki (he is off today) in def and Bro?ek up front. Wis?a is much more better team at the moment and they already proved it with three wons in a row. I think that it is very probable that they will be better than poor Zawisza also today. Pick: Wis?a (-0,25) @1,92 Pogo? - Ruch Another match where I rate away team as better one right now. Ruch has a very smart coach Kocian, who was able to perform a very good team having really poor players. They are playing their best at the moment or even better than should be. They played really nice football with Lechia last round and should won easily (match ended 3:3). Pogo? is much worse than Lechia right now. They had rumours with their best striker Robak, who was already announced as player of Chinsese club, but finally back to the club. Another player, who made the difference (Aka) last season just gone (signed with Russian club). They are playing not so good as last season and it seems that they will not play better with such poor players as Ma?ecki or Murawski.. I cannot see any reason, why Pogo? is favourite in this clash. Pick: Ruch (+0,25) @2,00

  3. Re: Poland > Ekstraklasa > 2012-13 Comfortable Lech's win. I hope that someone have taken their win as well :-) For tomorrow I would like to aware people who wants to put their money on Legia Warsaw just because they are fighting for Championship and won Polish Cup this week. The odds are crap and there are some important circumstanes, which definitely should be taken under consideration betting (or not this match). As usual please find some points worth your attention: Polish Cup final on Wednesday - Legia played revange game in Warsaw and lost 0:1 after own goal (they finally won the Cup as there were two matches in the final and they won the first game 2:0). Their playing was just pathetic or even stronger words should be used. Lagia's coach was so p*** off during the match as I didn't see him in such mood before. - I was observing players during celebration - there was no team spirit, a few playars looks like they don't care about it, actually no real fun of winning the Cup. - Just one day after the match I read in one of the most popular Polish football service that also during after match press conference and short intervews players looked like they are tired about the pressure. - And now the most important thing!!! Two key players (Radovic and Ljuboja) have been caught drank at night after the match by Legia's CEO! Ljuboja (actually the best player in Polish league history) is already sucked from the club and Radovic will pay huge financial peanalty. Nobody knows how this incident influences team performacne in tomorrow's match. - I also read in some sport service that there were some not nice discusses between players in the dress room before Polish Cup match, but of course I am not able to confirm it. Pressure It seems that Legia is not able to manage with it. Lech already won their match of this round and is one point above Legia. Until now Legia was playing their games first and just figure out what Lech will do. We have different situation now. And another thing. There will be Legia-Lech game next round and for now Lech seems to be better team at the moment. Looking at the moment and history Legia has never been able to manage with huge pressure. After Rado-Ljubo incident and really good Lech performance it is really huge. Białystok - really hard place for Legia 2011 Jagiellonia - Legia 0:0 (league) 2011 Jagiellonia - Legia 0:0 (league) 2009 Jagiellonia - Legia 2:1 (league) 2009 Jagiellonia - Legia 2:0 (league) 2008 Jagiellonia - Legia 1:1 (leage cup) 2008 Jagiellonia - Legia 1:2 (league) As you can see only one win in the last 6 games. Problems with line up There will be some key missing players: Inaki Astiz (CD, key player) Ivica Vrdoljak (DM, key player) Dominik Furman (DM, young player, he was first substitute for one of two defensive midfielders - Vrdoljak or Łukasik) Danijel Ljuboja (removed from the team - see above information) Miroslav Radovic (doubtful - see above information) Conclusion I am sorry that I have focues on Legia, but it is the main factor talking about this game at the moment. Legia will be under huge pressure on the hard place to play for them and with some important absences in the line up. The odds, which are offered are not tempting to take Legia under above circumstances. I strongly suggest to skip this game or put small stake on Jagiellonia. Jagiellonia Białystok - Legia Warsaw Pick: Jagiellonia (+0,5 AH) Odds: 2,02 Stake: small

  4. Re: Poland > Ekstraklasa > 2012-13 Another match, which is worth our attention. Lech Poznań after last round should really believe in Championship. They are just 2 points behind Legia Warsaw and still a match with them away. They are in very good form lately and it seems that they should keep it until the end of the season. They have won 5 games in a row scoring 13 goals and conceeding only 3. Althogh they are playing better in away matches with counter attacks, they started to collect wins also on home ground. They have two important suspensions in this match. First is goalkeepr Jasmin Buric (broken finger) and attacker Bartosz Ślusarski. Anyway they will be replaced by Kotorowski (he used to be the first goalie in Lech some time ago) and young Teodorczyk. Especially Teodorczyk is focused on sucess so I even rate them higher than Ślusarki (despite the fact that I don't like him at all). Anyway his attitude to the game should be really good. On the other side we have Wisła Kraków. To be honest this is not a team right now. Some facts below: - Coach Kulawik. He is just a joke. He knows that he will be replaced after the season. He has no authority in the team. For some players (i.e. Kosowski) he is just a mate from the field as Kulawik is young and used to play with him in the team. - There is no spirit in the team and this is not just a slogan. Two players were fighting during the training this week and have been sucked from the practices. They will also pay financial fees. This is also an example that the coach is not able to keep the team in right attitude - Actually everybody know that the team will be rebuilded next season. There will be new coach and a lot of players don't even need to show their capability to stay in Wisła as they are just sure that they will be sold. There nothing to fight this season for them. Just waiting for the end and start to looking for new clubs - The main aim of Wisła was Polish Cup. They lost twice with Śląsk Wrocław showing crap performence. This example really shows their lack of possibility to make a good result under above circumstances. - they will be weakened by suspension of several regular players in match against Lech. Missings: Pareiko (GK, 18 matches), Chavez (DF, 9 matches), Czekaj (DF, 8 matches), Jaliens (DF, 13 matches), Kosowski (MF, 3 matches). Doubtful: Sobolewski (MF, 14 matches) And one more information. There will be approx 30k suppoerters, which is really good result for Polish league. Lech should gain confortable win and odds are still pretty good in my opinion. Lech Poznań - Wisła Kraków Pick: 1 (-1 AH) Odds: 2,00 GL!

  5. Re: Poland > Ekstraklasa > 2012-13 I will go for Korona win on Friday evening. They will host Polonia Warszawa. The most important facts are that Korona plays constantly on their own stadium and Polonia, which lost almost everything after the winter break. Korona style of playing is quite inconvenient for opponents. They are playing really hard, don't allow to play technical football and make a lot of fauls. They are very effective with fast attackers (Kuzera, Korzym) and creative midfielders (like Janota). Especially on home ground opposite to away matches, where Korona lost a lot of their values. On the other hand Polonia without money. Although their coach Stokowiec, which try to keep the team in good mood, there are huge problems with money and general managent in the team. They had really good first round but after the break they are crap. I would even say that they are losing for purpose but this is only my own opinion. I don't rate then high in away match against Korona away and the odds are really tempting. Polonia has nothing to win and nothing to lose. That is the reason of lack of motivation. Korona will want to keep their good run of winning matches on home ground. I take @1,90 on home side. Korona - Polonia Pick: 1 Odds: 1,90 GL!

  6. Re: Poland > Ekstraklasa > 2012-13 Legia - Pogoń 3:1 :D Podbeskidzie - GKS 1:1 :\ I just found one pick for today. I feel very confident over in today match Śląsk Wrocław - Lechia Gdańsk. Although the stats show that over is not so sure since Polish league is rather underish and there is no any overish trend in results of these two teams. However we need to take under consideration somefacts: - Śląsk seems to be in a very good form and they have no problem with scoreing recently (both cup matches ended with over) - Śląsk will play with the best line up (no missings) - Lechia will play with third unexperienced goalkeeper - Lechia is playing actually for nothing this season. The main aim of the new coach is to rebuild the team and implement some young players into the first squad. However they also changed the style and create a lot of opportunities to score. If they will be effective I an sure that they will score I need to also add that both teams are much better offensively than defensivaly. This means very attractive game with lots of goals, I guess. Śląsk Wrocław - Lechia Gdańsk Pick: over 2,5 Odds: 2,00

  7. Re: Poland > Ekstraklasa > 2012-13 I would like to pay your attention on two Polish league matches on upcoming round: Legia Warsaw - Pogoń Szczecin This is the game, which we can call Dawid vs Goliat. Legia is fighting for Chamopiship and any other scenario will not be accepted in Warsaw. They have a great team for Polish league and they seem to be in a very good form and look confident in each game. This game should be quite easy for them and any other result than easy win will be a huge dissapointment. They have 7 consecutive wins in the league. There are no any key players missing so actually no worries about the line up. On the other side is the club, which struggles this round. Their spring record is just pathetic: 0 wins, 2 draws and 5 defeats. They scored just two goals and both from penalties (whats more penalty with Lechia was not because of Pogoń creativity but disaster mistake made by Lechia's defender). They have nothing to offer and even change of the coach gave them nothing special. I expect that Pogoń will defend all the time and try to play with counter attacks. However such Legia creativity players as Radovic, Ljuboja or Kosecki will make a lot of chances and surly score more than once. New signed attacker Dvalishvili is in very good form so I am pretty sure about their power upfront. Legia - Pogoń Pick: 1 (-1,5) Odds: 2,00 Podbeskidzie - GKS Bełchatów Two teams, which have been already treated as relegated since they collected very few points in last round. However after the winter break both teams collect points reguralry. They are defenatelly the worst teams in Polish league (together with Pogoń Szczecin) but there is just a slight light in the tunel for Podbeskidzie. They have a new coach, which is not bad and just won last two very important matches. If they win against GKS and Pogon will lose againts Legia (most probable), they will be just 2 points under the line (relegation zone). GKS is just crap. They collected some draws (fantastic goalie form), but they lost last round with poor Ruch Chorzów on home ground and it seems that it is just the final nail in the coffin for them. Morale is really low and I don't see them to gain anything this season anymore. No money, relegation to the lower league (almost sure) so this season is just to be finished and that is it. This is great opportunity for Podbeskidzie and they should prove it. They were always dangerous on home ground although thet never be a good side. I think they are aware about importance of this game and will grab 3 points. Podbeskidzie - GKS Bełchatów Pick: 1 (-0,5) Odds: 1,80 GL!
