  1. Re: APOEL v Ajax > Tuesday September 30th @AF13 I agree with this, but at the same time I as a dane have to say that Aalborg lost 4-0 due to the fact that the team is terrible away in Europe. About two weeks ago they were also trashed by the romanian team Bucharest. I think this game will end 1-2. Vincenti from APOEL have that ability to stand at the right place at the right time, and they are fairly good in the back. AJAX is comming to Cyprus with a 5-2 victory, both revealing their strengths in the attacking part and perhaps lack of concentration in the back. In Europe AJAX have been reliant on Lasse Schöne for many games, but he is doubtfull for this match - either Andersen or Kishna will probably take his spot. Sigthorsson scored a hattrick this weekend. If Sigthorsson is preferred infront, instead of Milik, this will be my favourite bet of the match: Sigthorsson to score at anytime 3.25 @Bet365

  2. Re: Group E - Honduras v Ecuador > Friday June 20th I think Garrido will conceive yet another yellow card. Against France he was the player with the second most challenges/tackles and in general he was alike the rest of Honduras, bullyish. This match will undoubtingly be more intense result-wise compared to the game against France, and that might bring some more nerve to it. Luis Garrido to receive a yellow card @ Tipico 2.55

  3. Re: Group A - Brazil v Croatia > Thursday June 12th Do not underestimate Croatia. They are wellknown for having fighters alike Olic, Rakitic, Mandzukic and Srna. A huge defeat would be crucial to their moral, so Kovac is likely to try and counter-attack, as Brazil is expected by the entire world to attack. Croatia played horrible after their defeat in the qualification campaign to Scotland, and Kovac will try to avoid the same thing from happening again. Both teams are keen to hold possesion, but Croatia will definately be overmatched here. In the qualification campaign, other teams e.g. Belgium and Serbia, had a hard time scoring against Croatia due to their style. On the other end of the pitch Croatia had difficulties scoring. Under 2.5 goals @ 1.75 Bet365

  4. Re: FC Bayern München v Manchester United > Wednesday April 9th Bayern were extremely dominant on possesion, but it was United that had the better chances. This was due to the fact that United had, more or less, 10 players on their own half the entire match. The match itself reminded a lot of the Champions League final in Munich in 2012. I personally think that Guardiola was satisfied with the draw, as the amount of through balls and direct attacks were few compared to the Arsenal matches. Schweinsteiger, Martinez and Thiago are out. Kroos will keep his spot as CM with Lahm as DM. This means that Götze will play alongside Robben and Ribery. I think that the lagging challenges made by Götze were the reason for the draw the last time, Bayern will need a much more direct and more 'Heynckes'-like approach. Müller was nowhere to be found in the last match, and I think the toughness of Mandzukic will be needed. Dante is back, well-known for being one of the two targetmen Bayern use on standard situations. I don't consider the draw and defeat against Hoffenheim and Augsburgs, respectively, to show any weakness among the Bayern squad. In both matches reserves and youth players were used e.g. Sallahi, Buyten, Weiser and Pizarro. Surely they are well rested for this match, but the game form could be affected by this. The Allianz Arena will expect a victory by the homeside, against their rivals and hopefully provide a good amount of noise. But one thing they will have in mind for this match is that for all the impressive statistics surrounding Bayern, they have failed to win any of their last four fixtures against English sides in Munich. I think the odds on this match is terrible if you side with Bayern and do choose the handicap. I would rather look at U/O goals. My predictions - BET365: Under 2.5 @ 2.50 The risky bets Dante to score at any time @ 5.00 Correct result - Bayern Münich 2-0 @ 7.00

  5. Re: Bundesliga > December 13th - 15th Total dominance by Gladbach and Bayern. Gladbach didn't create enough chances, and only one of their shots hit it's target. Under 4.5 cards and they didn't conceed. Bayern played a terrible match. Hamburger SV stayed down with every men in the box the entire match to prevent a trashing, and that worked out well as Ribery where benched the most of the game, meaning that there weren't that many chances. Just pass after pass after pass, so boring. Bayern did win both halfs, and as I pointed out the four back weren't that strong meaning they conceeded a late goal. They will be happy with the three points and move on.

  6. Re: Bundesliga > December 13th - 15th Mainz 05 - Borussia M.Gladbach Ok so here we have a nice option of backing Gladbach. Mainz are bad in form losing to Dortmund 3-1 and drawing 1-1 against one of the worst sides in the Bundesliga Nürnberg. Not only did they draw against Nürnberg, but they where dominated in almost every aspect of the game and manager Tuchel seemed clueless of what to do to get back in control. On the other hand we have Gladbach, only conceeding three goals in their last six matches, which they've won - among the teams we have Schalke, Hamburger Sv and Frankfurt. 4/6 of their games Gladbach turned out to be the winner. Gladbach is not that strong away from home, but then again Mainz isen't known to be a fierce homeside. Mainz will have difficulties changing their XI, with the amount of injuries and bans they have. Last time they met was actually back in october, it was a friendly though, and Mainz won 2-1 - this will be a different game. Mainz have scored nine goals from six matches against a lot bad opponents alike Bremen and Nürnberg. Ter Stegen and Gladbach are well-known for being hard to score against, and last week the only Mainz player that created chances against a weak Nürnberg side was Okazaki. Tuchel needs to get some discipline into the team, as they receive a lot of yellow cards and from the last two matches Mainz received a red card. Schmidt is the referee, being well known for handing out cards. 12 cards from his last three matches! However, two of theese matches where in the second Bundesliga. Top matches. And the last match was a 3-3 match with a lot of tension. I think that with the abscence of 'violent' players and focus on discipline I see fewer cards than normally. Prediction: Mainz 05 0-2 Gladbach Recommended bet: Gladbach to win 2.60 @ BET365 Gladbach to win without conceeding 4.50 @ BET365 Amount of cards, under 4.5, 1.70 @ BET365 Bayern Müncehn - Hamburger SV Bayern had their first defeat this week against Manchester City in the Champions League. I didn't put anything on Bayern as I was doubting what Guardiola would do. The dominance was evident from the start, with two quick goals and then they just went down to 60% which led to three individual errors. Two by Boateng and a penalty by Dante. Last year it was the same against BATE Borisov - no harm done, Bayern need to lose now and then to keep both them and fans on a ground level. Now they are back at the Allianz Arena for the last time this year. In Germany they celebrate the Herbstmeister, which is the leading team after half a season. At the Allianz there is always this big laser show and extravaganza afterwards, where Schweinsteiger for example announced his contract extension. I thought they would make Alaba announce his extension, but that went trough a week ago. Could be Robben perhaps if they are to do any announcement at all. Now to the match. Vaart is back for Hamburger SV, after his personal tradegy of losing his unborn child. They where in dire need for him against Augsburg, they lagged a concept offensive wise. Normally theese games have tendency to Bayern just trashing Hamburger SV. It's considered the South versus the North. Guardiola is different from Heynckes, he is fine with 2-0 and 3-0, whereas Heynckes always encouraged more goals. The 7-0 victory was a combination of a Bremen side that is terrible without Prödl and a Bayern side that had to do little to score. Hamburger is a bit better, with Adler on goal and Djourou and Jansen being the leaders in the defense. I think we will see a Bayern side that want to regain some lost respect, and Hamburger SV will finally break after some bad perfomances against Augsburg, Köln and Wolfsburg. They have conceeded in their last six matches atleast one goal, whilst Bayern score against every team they meet. Bayern will want to have to go with through balls once again, as Hamburger SV lack pace. The line-up for Bayern suggest, that they want to rest a couple of players, but this team is more than capable of defeating a weak Hamburger SV, however it's not the strongest four back: Neuer - Rafinha, Dante, Van Buyten, Contento - Lahm - Müller, Thiago, Kroos, Götze - Mandzukic. It will be a trashing at home, once again. Prediction: Bayern München 5-0 Hamburger SV Recommended bet: Bayern München -3,5, 3.10 @ BET365 Bayern München to win both halfs 1.72 @ BET365

  7. Re: FC Bayern München v Manchester City > Tuesday December 10th

it's better to happen now when he should be fit to come back after the month long winter break they enjoy in Germany. The other injured are slowly making their way back' date=' Martinez looks fine again and has come back well, Thiago has played a few games now Ribery should be able to play 90 after the rib injury, Gotze is fine and Lahm 'might' be back for the game but I doubt he will be risked.[/quote'] Well Bayern have their FIFA Club World Cup, not that I think thoose two matches will be any danger. Martinez is currently not fit, he seems slow, and I can't really figure out if he is going to start against City as Kirchoff was getting on from the bench against Bremen - however Kirchoff received a knock in the training session the day after Bremen, meaning he is doubtfull. Ribery was insane against Bremen. Thiago and Götze did whatever they wanted, and yes they are very much in form. Lahm will still be rested. I can't really figure out what Guardiola wants to do, as he picked a strong squad for Augsburg instead of playing with Starke etc. Last time they met, Bayern dominated City the entire match, and if City wants the first spot they need to win 3-0, and with Arsenal comming up. I will probably wait till tommorow before I make my decisions.
  8. Re: Bundesliga > December 6th - 8th Great value on Wolfsburg today. Schmid and Schuster are out of the starting XI of Freiburg meaning they will once again lose the battle of the midfield. Freiburg have gone down in the relegation zone, however they tend to put up a decent fight. Only losing 1-0 to Gladbach and 2-1 to Leverkusen lately. Freiburg are a terrible homeside, and they haven't won there for 5 matches. Wolfsburg however is moving up the table, but have made a couple of draws, perhaps losing a bit of momentum. I think we will see Gustavo taking control of the midfield and dominate from the start of. Diego and Olic always amaze me with their ability to never run dry of energy. And you might think that Freiburg is moving a bit away from the bottom, but the wins they get are from Braunschweig and Nürnberg, and I seriously don't see them getting away from the bottom. It's 6th vs 16th! Wolfsburg to win 2.05 @BET365 Wolfsburg to win without conceeding 3.10 @BET365 Braunschweig simply doesn't belong in the Bundesliga. They are terrible all-around, except maybe the fans. Hertha will surely want a victory from this match, as they've lost a little lately because they've met some of top-table teams. Their organisation is great and they aren't afraid of moving high up on the pitch. Braunschweig have scored 8 goals the entire season, and Kraft might be a bad goalkeeper but surely Berlin should have no troubles dealing with them. Hertha have had some difficulties scoring against the bigger opponents but, meeting sides like Hoffeheim etc. they tend to score a lot. I think the odds on Berlin is a small christmas gift! Hertha Berlin to win 2.10 @BET365 Hertha Berlin to win without conceeding 3.25 @BET365 Hertha Berlin to win both halfs 6.50 @BET365

  9. Re: Bundesliga > December 6th - 8th

Bremen is in terrible shape! Prödl is missing in the deffence, and getting 4-4 with Hoffenheim is a bad result. Sure, great comeback, but 1 point against Hoffenheim is just not good enough for a side like Bremen. The deffence is just terrible, conceeding 15 goals in 5 matches. Today the visitors is inargueably the best team in the world. Bayern might miss the drive of Robben, but with Garcia and Fritz playing, Guardiola will undoubtingly play with deep balls as the center is their weak spot. Bayern could conceed a goal, but then again, they have only conceeded 1 goal the last 5 matches. The game against Augsburg had that derby intensity, and it was clear from the start that they wanted a rough match. They often end up with a small score. I think Götze will have great fun with Caldirola and Lukimya. They kinda remind me of the combo of Demichelis and Buyten, tall and slow with minimum of communication. Great on standard situations though. I see goals, goals and more goals. Bayern can make further distance if Leverkusen draw or lose later today. Bayern to win without conceeding 2.10 @BET365 Bayern -3.5 4.250 @BET365 Bayern to win both halfs 2.20 @BET365 Scores two or more goals 7.00 @BET365
3/4. Shame with Götze, he really ougtha have scored atleast two goals from his four chances. Very predictable outcome.
  10. Re: Bundesliga > December 6th - 8th

Bremen-Munich Last Week Bremen 2 times with great comeback. There are behind for 2 goals -> 0:2 and 2:4 and playing at the end 4:4 in Hoffenheim. The Moral at the team as you can seeing is very good. Petersen and Bargfrede with good comebacks after injury. Booth against Munich in Starting XI. Odds for me too big for Bremen and maybe they can grabbing 1 Point or more.

  11. Re: DFB Pokal > December 3rd & 4th

It's always important to have a leader figure during derbies. Bayern are without Schweini, Lahm and Ribery in the pokal match. They met eachother last year in the pokal at Augsburg. Bayern won 2-0, even though they received an early red card in some of the tension. Guardiola will once again play with reserve players alike Starke and Buyten. While Bayern are having some difficulties with injuries Augsburg have only Dominik out, which I see as an advantage, he is a horrible player. The last two times they met was at the Allianz Arena, with two 3-0 victories for Bayern. The last time was in november, with a late penalty. I see Augsburg trying their usual tactic with deffending with every player in the box. Augsburg have scored two goals their last 4 games! Under 2.5, 2.35@Bet365 Bayern to win witouth Augsburg scoring 2.10@Bet365

  13. Re: Juventus v FC København > Wednesday November 27th Just a quick reminder. Fc Copenhagen will play against their rivals Brøndby this weekend, meaning, if they get behind 2-0 they will spare some of their better players. They have generally improved alot over season with the arrival of manager Solbakken, but I just can't see them getting anything in Italy. Last year it was the exact same situation. Nordsjælland travelled to Torino and was trashed 4-0, giving Juventus the momentum for qualification. Copenhagen is of another caliber with more Champions League routine, but a 2-0 or 3-0 is very likely.

  14. Re: Manchester City v FC Viktoria Plzen > Wednesday November 27th I just want to point out how good a keeper Plzen have. City have still time to convience me of being such a big name as they are, internationally that is. Plzen is horrible offensivewise. 7 shots on target, with 4 against Moscow, 1 against Bayern and 2 against City. City can't really do anything about the result of the group. I think they did great against Tottenham and might need to rest a couple of players. - City to win without conceeding 1.95 @BET365 - City to with both halfs 2.00 @BET365

  15. Re: FC Viktoria Plzen v FC Bayern München > Tuesday November 5th

Of course Bayern will go for the 9th winning. I don't see them going for the kill today, I think Bayern have a tendency to respect the smaller opponents whenever they meet them and go with a relatively small victory when they are away. I would like to see a Bayern team not conceeding a goal, as both Hoffenheim and Hertha Berlin scored against them - surely this does not please Guardiola. He could use Dante again, but I think he should be rested after the Hoffenheim game, leaving his spot for either Buyten or Kirchoff. Plzen had nothing to contribute to the game with last time, except a really good goalkeeper. Götze looks sharp and he has made some killer moves lately, I could see him assisting or scoring tonight. Bayern to win without Plzen scoring 1.80 @ BET365 Götze to score at any time 2.62 @ BET365
As predicted, a small victory. It's the same every year in the group stages. Guardiola will be satisfied with the fact that Bayern only where tested once in the entire game. Also that goalkeeper of Plzen proved to be great again, saving 8/9 shots from Bayern with one or two 1vs1! Not that bad a prediction :)

  17. Re: Bundesliga > October 4th - 6th

Just a few fast thoughts on todays matches: Leverkusen - Bayern: Both teams played CL during the week, maybe some players will be rested, at least for the away side. Dont think that Guardiola will play the same team like in Manchester. Therefore I see a merely careful start from both sides, halftime CS 0-0 could be possible but I'll go for under 3.0 @2.01 (Pinnacle)
I agree with the under 3.0 I think there is a little pain for Bayern with this match, as Leverkusen was the only team to beat them in the record Bundesliga last year. Leverkusen will probably do the usual tactic against Bayern, deffend with all men in the box and hope for a swift attack. Mandzukic will be in the starting eleven as he is rested after the massacre in Manchester. This match is interesting as it will point out if there really is this huge gap between (Bayern/Dortmund) and Leverkusen. Götze and Shaqiri will probably be in starting and they will fight hard to give Guardiola a reason to pick them. I see a small victory for Bayern here, even though Leverkusen is doing great in the Bundesliga, the Champions League match was horrible and very lucky.
  18. Re: Manchester City v FC Bayern München > Wednesday October 2nd

I will personally bet on the following: Robben to score at anytime 3.20 @ BET365 Ribery to score at anytime 3.75 @ BET365 Over 4.5 cards 1.775 @ BET365 Amount of goals in the game; Over 3 goals 2.62 @BET365 Draw 3.40 @ BET365 I know this is a contradiction to a lot of the above mentioned, but whatever, I f***ing love Bayern München Bayern -1,5 4.150 @ BET365
    Well that was SPOT on!
  19. Re: Real Madrid v FC København - Wednesday October 2nd I'm a supporter of Brøndby IF, the rivals of FC København. They just met in the weekend and Copenhagen had nothing in the Brøndby 3-2 victory. They received a penalty and was just not near the level. Also they lag a lot of speed and the midfield is a mess. Don't consider it an achievement that København drawed with Juventus, so did Nordsjælland last year - the game where like twins. The duel between Jacobsen and Ronaldo will be a laugh, he is slow and old. The backup for Jacobsen is another oldie Mellberg, which makes error after error in the Superliga - he was knocked out against Brøndby btw. Wiland is the only player inform for Copenhagen. It will be a slaugther!

  20. Re: Manchester City v FC Bayern München > Wednesday October 2nd Tricky game. New coaches and a lot of water have gone under the bridge since their last meeting. Bayern have struggled with the new playstyle under Guardiola, even though they get their victories - whenever it gets a bit too close they switch back to the 'old Bayern' that being attack-wise with few passes and a more direct attack. Unbeaten in the Bundesliga for 32 games including massive opponents alike Dortmund and Leverkusen. I honestly don't see them struggeling with the crowd of the homeside, as there often is more nerve in the Bundesliga. Bayern are missing Martinez on the midfield, and I don't expect Lahm to play his position this time, as Rafinha just doesn't have the level for Champions League matches like this. It will undoubtingly be Ribery, Kroos, Müller, Schweinsteiger and Robben to start with but with Götze as the joker. Kroos seems to be the only player inform on the midfield according to Guardiola (unlike Schweinsteiger, Thiago, Götze and Martinez). Players like Robben and Ribery have a more free role in the Champions League and is often the players with the most shots on goal during theese games. Bayern will dominate on possesion and I think players like Zabaleta, Kolarov and Fernandinho will have a tough time with the tackles and perhaps receive some cards. Against Plzen, Fernandinho and Kolarov both where booked for more or less idiotic challenges. Also Agüero, Nasri or Dzeko could force some tackles from Dante and Boateng as they don't have the speed needed - I see this a lot in the Bundesliga. Kuipers is the referee he is well-known for having a loose hand: Champions League 2011/12 - 5 games, 26 yellow cards and two reds; Champions League 2012/13 - 6 games, 17 yellow cards and 0 red. This year - 1 game, 3 yellow and 1 red. Pellegrini have pointed out that they will only go for a victory, so don't expect a bus infront of the City goal. It's been five years since City was last beaten at home in an European competition. Pellegrini have never beaten Guardiola. I think this is the year where City finally make it past the group stages in a relatively weak group (Sorry Plzen and CSKA). Getting the Bayern scalp would be a huge achievement. This game will have a huge impact on the final score in the group. Neuer and Hart are excellent goalkeepers, but I think it'll be a match with a lot of scoring oppotunities I will personally bet on the following: Robben to score at anytime 3.20 @ BET365 Ribery to score at anytime 3.75 @ BET365 Over 4.5 cards 1.775 @ BET365 Amount of goals in the game; Over 3 goals 2.62 @BET365 Draw 3.40 @ BET365 I know this is a contradiction to a lot of the above mentioned, but whatever, I f***ing love Bayern München Bayern -1,5 4.150 @ BET365

  21. Re: Bundesliga > Promotion/Relegation Play-Off > Thu 23rd May K'lautern is much more a Bundesliga team than Hoffenheim is. They have been reliant when it comes to their results lately, and Hoffenheim had a lucky victory against Dortmund last week but all in all a very unreliant side to pick. The only way Hoffenheim can avoid draw is if Fermino, Volland and Vestergaard are starting in the XI - they will need to score, and the only player in the back that have played decently lately was Vestergaard. Idrissou will most likely score a goal for K'Lautern, he is on fire and much of his works is thanks to Baumjohann the former Schalke player. This will be a nervous first game, but don't expect any deffensive sided teams, as their main objective is to score goals. Over 2.5 Goals Draw
