Re: Horses to lay? first of all rp = racingpost www.racingpost.co.uk if you buy the racecard for the day at 20p per meeting it shows you horses style of running ie:leads or held up with a horse that leads people seem to think they are on a winner just cos its in front in running then they bet on it . in running meaning after the off but before the end of the race. you can bet on many horses in the race and as long as you lay someone shorter odds than you backed earlier you wont lose but if you are greedy and want to wait for a horse you backed at 10-1 to trade at 5-1 then you may well get caught out but if you layed it at 8-1 just after the off you have just got yourself a 2-1 bet for nothing time of first bet is anytime but you need to watch racing live to do this sort of in running betting with hold up horses a 10-1 horse can trade at 13-1 or even 15-1 just after the start just because its way behind the other runners but if you know thats how the horse gets ridden then lay the horse at 10-1 then bet it just after the start when its behind at hopefully 15-1 with this you need to be sure that the odds you bet are greater than the odds you layed earlier another free bet at 5-1 not a big money making scam but if i knew any i wouldnt be on here trying to feed off other peoples ideas i would own horses meaning i would be part of the scams lol if i can help clear up anything else please ask all the best simz

Re: Horses to lay? heres what i do john get a printout from rp i look for horses that lead then back them then you can always lay them just after the race starts at much shorter odds or lay horses that you know will be held up then back them when right at the back this way it dont matter if horse wins or loses you still dont lose but sometimes you can be to greedy and wait to long to lay a horse. all the best simz
