Re: Romanian Liga 1 29-30/8 Long time no see in the romanian thread for me. Rapid looks good @ 1.75 vs Astra. Despite the losses vs Urziceni and Timisoara both 0-1 Rapid plays the best football so far in Romania IMO. Astra is a newly promoted and cand comit any surprise here. Will go with medium sakes on Rapid. Vaslui just got out of EL after a disastrous 2nd half vs AEK and now they only concentrate on the internal championship. A big investment was made in Vaslui in the last couple years and the results didn't fail to come up. Wesley is the ey player for them, with Gerlem his back up in the middle. Iasi is by far the worst team in Romania and are the main relegation candidates. I could only be put away by the fact that this is a local derby but the value difference in high enough to make me put my money on Valsui. Re: Romania Liga I ( Feb 27-Mar 1 ) Can't decide with a bet on Iasi-Craiova. I'd be subjective to say Craiova will win, odds are really appealing to me right now as i see 2.70 for an AW. Even if Iasi has a new coach in Bergodi, i still rate them as sub mediocre team and if this would'nt had been the first game of the 2nd part of the season - so no idea where the teams really are- i'd had gone for the away win, but so it's a no bet, maybe smallish stake on 0-0 and 0-1 CS for the fun of the game.

Re: Romania Liga I ( Feb 27-Mar 1 ) Vaslui is very underrated here. IMO Steaua has the weakest squad in many years and the results speak for themselves. 1 point in Cl group stage, crappy display, bad results in the friendlies in the pre season, no players bought, but the biggest loss is the captain Radoi who was the most influential player of the squad in the last 4-5 years. He was sold this winter break and he has no subtitute to match his influence, sacrifice style of play and value. Also for this game key defender and national team player Goian is suspended, also left defender Marin is suspended. The fans are against the owner of the club and the athmosphere tonight will not be one to encourage Steaua. On the other hand Vaslui was the most active team on the transfer market, buying some interesting players, and are aiming for the top spots. This is not a bet on Vaslui, this is a bet against Steaua who i think will have big troubles not only in this game, but in the rest of the season. LAY Steaua odds 1.82 @ betfair 5/10

Re: Champions League Group Stage: Matchday 4- Tuesday 4th November I've gone for CFR to win tonight. This is the biggest chance a Romanian team ever had to qualify for the last 16 in CL. CFR impressed everybody by winning in Rome and drawing with Chelsea and only an own goal from Cadu made them lose the game with Bordeaux last round, a game CFR would'nt have lost not in a million years judjing by the way it was played. IMO GK Rame is a big blow for Bordeaux and the lack of experience of Valverde will be a plus for CFR. After an impressive 4-0 win,Bordeaux lost away last round 1-0 and the morale of the team should be lower. CFR will miss AM Trica who got the red card and striker Didi injured a week ago. With a win tonight CFR has 80% chances to reach the last 16, the stadium is sold out and Bordeaux will have a very tough task not to win, but even to score as a mistake like that of Cadu can't happen again. With Kone in great form, and with the croud behind them i can see CFR winning tonight with at least one goal difference. CFR odds 2.42 @ betfair 10 pts

I hope you took the early odds which were arround 1.80-1.90 when i advised you to do. Now they dropped to 1.57 which i still think you should take but with lower stakes. GL whatever youbet on :ok

Re: Romanian Liga I Burger 17-20/10 Craiova vs Pandurii This is a regional derby and the ambitions are huge on either side. Since Pandurii got promoted several years ago there has always been fierce encounters between this 2 teams. Pandurii have a new coach - Sorin Cartu who has been a famous player for Craiova and is the last coach that won the title with Craiova. Pandurii played very bad untill he arrived and since then they achieved 3 wins from 3 games. Craiova is unbeaten in 5 games and has a great morale looking forward to this meeting. Craiova will miss GK Bornescu and striker Baird suspended. Cartu immediately revitalizes the teams that he takes over but soon after they return to what they were before and now i feel that Pandurii will return to the poor display they showed before. Craiova is obviously the better team and all i fear is that Cartu will defend with 11 men all the time. If Craiova would score early then i fear that Pandurii will get a bag of goals. Re: Romania Liga 1, 26-28 Feb. I wouldn't risk my money on CFR. Steaua is not as weak as many think it is. The defeat vs Ceahlaul was an accident, with Ceahlaul having done only one thing: counter. CFR won't be doing the same thing, that's for sure and Steaua can speculate the wings with Karamian and Nicolita on the flanks, two very fast-paced players. Steaua is very different home and away, with the fans beeing against the owner and some of the players. Maybe CFR is the better team but the game will be very very tight IMO and the only bet i'd put my money on would be both teams to score if you can find it. Best of luck, whatever you bet on!
