  1. Re: Ligue 1 > Nov 9-11 Nancy take on Rennes tonight. Nancy have won one in their 11 league games and have lost 9 out of their last 10 games, only managing a draw in the other. This is a team in a serious demise and Rennes are a team who are quickly improving. Out of their last 7 games they have won 6, at 13/8, Rennes seem excellent value.

  2. Re: Championship > 9th November - 11th November Middlesbrough host Sheffield Wednesday in a game that seems there is only one sensible selection. Middlesbrough are 10/11 to win which seems like excellent value considering M'brough's recent form. M'brough have won 5 out of their last 6 games and drew the other. They lie second in the league and they are likely to be heavily backed against 20th placed Sheff Wednesday who have only managed one win in 7 away games, and losing 4.

  3. Re: Group D > 8 October (Bordeaux, Club Bruges, Maritimo, Newcastle) Club Bruges v Newcastle I am gonna go for Newcastle to beat Club Brugge away from home. Newcastle are top of their group and have not conceded a goal as of yet. They are taking a relatively strong side with Tiote and Collocini expected to start as thy are suspended for the weekend. Club Brugge have not won their last 3 home games and are mid table in their domestic league after 14 games, not doing as nearly as well as expected. This is not a banker by any means but I think it certainly represents value at 19/10

  4. Re: Group H > 8 November (Inter Milan, Neftchi, Partizan Belgrade, Rubin Kazan) Partizan v Inter I fancy Inter to win away at Partizan. Inter only managed to win 1-0 in the home game between these two but Inter have won their ast 9 games, an amazing feat. They also beat Juventus 3-1 away from home last week, ending Juve's 49 games unbeaten record. Furthermore, Inter have had some great away results of late so I think they are worth backing at 5/6 with various.

  5. Re: Group F > 8 November (AIK Solna, Dnipro, Napoli, PSV) Two weeks ago this game was 3-1 to Dinpro, Napoli have class upfront with Cavani and Pandev and and should be on the score sheet. Dinpro have won 3 out of 3 in their group so you have to fancy them to get a goal themselves, especially against a Napoli team who concede frequently. Therefore I like the look of both teams to score in this one.

  6. Re: Group E > Nov 7 (Shakhtar, Juventus, Chelsea, FC Nordsjaelland) Anything more than a Juventus win is unthinkable. They host FCNordsjaelland and prior to Juve's last game they were 49 league gamesunbeaten in Serie A. 1/6 is a short price but I expect that this willbe a comfortable victory so consider -1 on the handicap at 1/2. Chelseahad a tough game in against Shaktar last time out losing 2-1. Shaktarare a quality side and are smashing their league and they will makelife difficult for Chelsea in tonight's game. However, considering thatChelsea are at home, they have won 4 out 5 home league games and theyhave a better team than Shaktar; they are worth backing. Chelsea haveplenty of class in their side: Hazard and Oscar are looking incredible,Mata is scoring for fun, we won't mention Torres, and in the main, their defence is very strong. This is by no means a banker but to sumit up, they are the current ChampionsLeague champions. 7. Re: Group F > Nov 7 (BATE, Bayern Munich, Valencia, Lille) Hello! Bit late but looking at the games in this group, there will be two expected home wins. Bayern Munich won the lastmeeting between these two away from home, two weeks ago and I expect abigger victory this time at home. 1/5 is not great odds but knowing howtenacious the German teams are, and Bayern being a top class teams, I think -1 onhandicap at 8/15 will add value to an acc. Good luck with your bets tonight.

  8. Re: League 2 > 6/7th November Hi everyone Couple of games I fancy in league 2 tonight. In League 2 a vast amount of people will be backing Gillingham to winat home against Cheltenham. Gillingham are storming League 2 at themoment and have won 11 out of 15 games. Cheltenham are doing well andcurrently lie in 3rd place but with the home advantage Gillinghamcertainly look good value to win at 10/11. Also, get on Bradford to beat Chesterfield. Bradford have won 5 outof their 7 home games. They managed to stop Wigan scoring in the Leaguecup last week for a whole 120 minutes and then won on penalties. Theyare 11 places above Chesterfield in the league and look a good shout at11/10. Best of luck Facebook: Beat The Bookie@Footy - Football Betting Tips Twitter: @_BashTheBookies

  9. Re: League 1 6th November Hi guys Here is a couple of games in am backing in League 1. Walsall host Scunthorpe in a game which I think Walsallrepresentgood value for the win. Walsall play some excellent football but theirresults are very mixed. Scunthorpe on the other hand are struggling. They average 0.66 points per game (10 points out of 15 games)and are dismalaway. They lost 4-0 on Saturday to League 2 table toppers Gillinghamand I think Walsall, with the home advantage; look good value to win at23/20. Bournemouth are a great team to back at the moment and are in greatform since Eddie Howe came back to manage them. They have won 3 anddrew 1 since his arrival and look good to gain another victory, this time against Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury have not taken life too well in league one and are justabove the relegation zone. They are 2nd from bottom in the away leaguesso Bournemouth look good at 8/11 Best of luck Follow me, Facebook: Beat The Bookie@Footy Twitter: @_BashTheBookies

  10. Re: Championship 6th November The Championship is a great league for both teams to score. I have saved all games and the stats for the games so far and there are four games I think look great for this market tomorrow: Thefirst game I like the look of is between Bolton and Leicester. Bolton'slast 6 games have seen both teams scoring and they take on a good teamin Leicester. The Foxes have had 10 out of their 14 league games come for thebtts market this season and I expect they will get a goal against aBolton team who have conceded in every league game but one this season. Burnley host Leeds which seems like the perfect match forboth teams to score. Burnley tend to score plenty of goals and CharlieAustin has been a big contributor this season for them with 19 alreadyso far in the league. Out of their 14 games 10 have had both teamsscoring whilst Leeds have had their last 12 out of 13 games come in! Gofor Nottm Forest v Middlesbrough. Notts Forest are a good championshipside and I expect they will get a goal at home. Furthermore 10 outtheir 14 games have had bts. M'brough are doing incredibly well and arecurrently 2nd in the league. They have scored in 13 out of 14 leaguegames and 10 of those games have had bts. Watford v Millwalllooks an excellent choice. Watford's 6 out of their last 8 games haveseen both teams scoring and with them being at home I expect them toscore. Millwall are scoring for fun lately They scored 11 in theirlast 3 games and 11 out 14 games this season have had the bts come in. Hope that is of use to those who like the both teams to score bet. 11. Re: WBA v Southampton > Monday 5th November Hi guys My observations for the West Brom v Southampton game: Looking at the statsthere is only one team worth backing for the win in this game. WestBrom's home form is excellent; winning 4 games out of 5. The only gamethey have lost is against Manchester City which of course is expected. The Baggies have also scored an average of 2 goals per home game whilstonly conceding just under 1 on average. Steve Clarke hasproved the doubters wrong so far this season. West Brom play some goodfootball, have good quality in their side with the likes of Long andMorrison, although Long is currently a doubt.. Their defence is well organised from what I have seen of themand they appear to hard to break down. Southamptons story inthe premiership so far is on the other end of the scale. Southamptonare bottom of the league with only one win this season. Their away formis atrocious, losing all 4 games and conceding on average 4 goals pergame. Southampton have the worst defence in the Premiership'shistory based on the amount of games played so far. Therefore based on the statistics, the obvious bet in this game would be to back West Brom to win. You can get 3/4 for this bet, Other bets worth considering may be West Brom -1 at 9/5 and Morrison to score anytime at 5/1. Best of luck. 12. Re: Capital One Cup > October 30/31 Hi Guys My observations for tonight: Chelsea host Manchester United for the second time within a week and I am going to go for the same choice I did on Sunday - both teams to score. It is a pretty obvious selection which I think a lot of people will anyway but this game has a history of goals and we know based on Sunday that this could be a decent end to end match. Best price 4/6 Norwich take on Tottenham and I think Tottenham are looking great value at 10/11 with PaddyPower or William Hill. Tottenham have won 3 out of their 4 away premier league games and have depth in strength as regards their team. Norwich have been struggling this season although they have picked up the last two games obtaining 4 points from 2 games. Their manager Chris Hughton has stated he will make changes for the League cup game and I think Spurs will be too strong for a Norwich side whose squad does not compete with Tottenham's. Liverpool v Swansea is a game that may put people in doubt in which bet to select. It would seem foolish to back Liverpool at the low price of 4/9. This is the same team that have won 1 out of their 5 home Premiership games. Swansea are in fact above Liverpool in the Prem and will set out to attack so if anything they would be worth an ambitious bet at 6/1 but personally I am leaving this game alone. One bet that looks great value is Rangers to win at home against Inverness CT. Last season, if you recieved this kind of price for this game you would have thought the bookies had been on an all day bender with Gazza and Tony Adams. As Rangers are currently in the Scottish third division the odds have increased but they beat Motherwell in the last round at home 2-0 and have won all their 4 league home games scoring 16 goals and scoring 3. Yes, they are playing considerably weaker competition but the big victories proves they are still a strong team within Scottish football and will undoubtedly obtain three succeessive promotions back to the Scottish Premiership. Best price 6/5 . In Spain the Copa Del Rey cup games are being played. Atletico Madrid are away to Real Jaen who are in the division below. Atletico have won their last 12 games on the trot and are currently joint top of La Liga. You can get evens with Paddy Power that they will be winning at half time and at full time which seems like an excellent value. In Italy Top of the league Juventus take on second from bottom Bologna. Juventus have won 8 out of 9 games and drew the other. They have scored 20 goals and conceded 4. Bologna have lost 6 out of their 9 league games so it seems a cert that Juventus will win. At 2/9 though, the value is poor and -1 at 4/5 seems to represent good value. Follow me on Facebook: Beat The Bookie@Footy Twitter:@_BashTheBookies

  13. Re: Npower Football League One > 13th / 14th October Hi everyone Very little today but I am going to bet on the two games in league 1. Walsall were written off preseason and it is understandable due to their narrow escape of relegation last season, and their seeming lack of quality. I actually went to the Walsall ground: Bescot, in pre season and it was quite an experience. There was what I would describe as an interesting fella in the Walsall end who was walking to and fro along the front row behind the goal. He was dancing with his top off and was gambolling half naked as well as having sex with thin air. He was in fact, far more entertaining than Walsall’s football team. Anyways, Walsall have surprised many and have a good record away from home, so hats off to them. I think with this game with Shrewsbury, being a local derby and Walsall been somewhat of both teams to score specialists (8 out of 11 games), I would go for both teams to score in this game. The other game in League 1: Preston v MK Dons, could see both teams scoring. Preston have had 7 out of 10 games with both teams scoring and take on a decent side in MK Dons who lie 7th in the league. I expect they will get a goal against a team who always tend to concede. To add a bit of value I am going to choose a game from the Scottish challenge cup. Queen of the South look good to beat Arbroath. Q of the S have played 8 games in the league, won 7 and drew 1. The 4 games at home, they have scored 10 and not conceded one goal. Arbroath are in the same league but Queen of the South’s record is far too good to assume anything other than a home win. Best odds are 6/10. Treble pays around 4/1 Thoughts guys?

  14. Re: Npower Football League Two > 13th / 15th October Hi everyone I am new to the forum. I provide betting tips on my Facebook page and friends website and like to use a number of factors whilst determining my bets. I love football betting and I wanted to join a community where I can discuss it with people who enjoy football betting themselves. I have made a few observations for the league games today, although they are not revelations they are pretty safe I would day. I normally like to go for the evens to 13/8 mark with my selections but there are none that stand out today. Here are a few observations for the league games today: In league 1, the Essex derby between Colchester and Stevenage is screaming both teams to score. Whilst Colchester’s last 11 games have had both teams scoring, Stevenage’s last 10 games have seen 9 of them with bts. Price is pretty good at 4/5 Tranmere have become a team that I am backing every week. They have won their last 5 games and are lying on top of the league with 27 points from 11 games. They take on Yeovil who despite winning last week, lost their 6 games prior to that victory. Tranmere seem a no brainer and you can get around 8/11. Crawley have had a decent start since promotion to League 1 and sit 6th in the league they are 4/6 to beat Bury at home who have 4 points from 10 games and therefore this represents value to add to an acc. Gillingham host Aldershot. This is a tale of a game of two opposites; Gillingham are flying and are top of the league with 26 points from 11 games. Aldershot on the other hand are second from bottom with only 8 points to their name. At around the 8/13 mark; Gillingham look okish value to win this game and add to an acc. However as Fritz mentioned above; -1 may be a good choice at 2.2 Similar to the last selection, we have Fleetwood taking on struggling Wycombe. Fleetwood are third and have plenty of goals in them and they take on Wycombe who are third from bottom and have lost 4 out of their 5 away games. Good luck today anyways and I will look forward to interacting with you all. Beat The Bookie@Footy
