    Re: International Friendlies > 2013 Just had a more detailed look at the WC qualification tables for both those teams, its harder to make a case for the Mexicans on second glance, they need to pick up points and have 3 games in a short space of time, including a tricky game in Panama and after that comes the Confederations Cup so this friendly will be bottom of the priority list. Nigeria are going strong in their group so might be more relaxed as there is less pressure on them generally it would seem...as I said team news will be important for this to see how seriously it will be taken

    Re: International Friendlies > 2013 I see Mexico are best priced at 2.20 to beat Nigeria, this looks like a decent price to me. They will play the game in Houston which will be like a home game for them really.... they have to play away in Jamaica a few days later in a WC qualifier but Nigeria have to play a qualifier in Kenya also. Any info on team news regarding this one for either team, if Nigeria aren't bothered odds on home team are attractive imo...

The need to win logic is flawed regardless of this game or any other, ...Im not saying Arsenal wont win and I actually wanted to back them but at the current price cannot, this looks like an inplay scenario to me. I don't rate Newcastle or Pardew as a coach that much anyway but when you consider Arsenal's price it is low, Man U were 1.80 to win here, Chelsea 2.0, Spurs 2.8, cant remember Man City price but it was higher than 1.55 ect...

    Yeah' date=' I also think United should offload Rooney. Even tough he is my favourite player, he was poor this season and he still thinks to play all the time. Kagawa showed his skills couple of times so far and I am sure we'll see more of him and hopefully he willl stay injury-free. Sell Rooney and [b']sign Ronaldo +Falcao/Lewandowski.
    Would be amazed if this happened, how much is Ronaldo gonna cost as he enters his peak years..?! :loon

    Re: Fulham v Arsenal > Sat 20th April Not really impressed with Fulham, they have lost 6 games at home and in others they have got lucky, Stoke missed a penalty when they played and they nearly threw away a big lead against QPR. Apart from WBA the teams they have defeated at home have all been bottom 8 or so..Senderos in central defence is poor as well. Arsenal were unfortunate not to beat Everton I thought , they just didn't take their chances. I like Arsenal here but the price isn't spectacular, one to bet inplay IMO...

    Re: Sunderland v Swansea City > Tue 29th January Swansea play very tight and defensive on the road, they have conceded the fewest goals away from home in the entire league (9). Watched them in a few away matches and they have a lot of men behind the ball, but it seems to work for them. Sunderland still suffer from a lack of creativity and could struggle to break down a deep sitting away team IMO.

    Re: Serie A > 26th - 27th January The Lazio match is interesting, on one hand they still seem to be underrated by the bookies, if it was Juve, Napoli, or the Milan clubs they would be in the region of 1.25 - 1.40 against opposition that are 2-0-8 on the road I reckon. Lazio are excellent at home but they arent as fluid or creative as some of the other top teams, solid organisation and reliance on the skill and creativity of a few players. According to Gazetta Konko and Klose may not feature which would be problematic. However , they still seem too 'obvious' a bet, they were quite lucky against Cagliari and it was a hard slog against Atalanta. They were fortunate again midweek against an alternate Juventus team, an even first half, but Juve dominated the 2nd half, Marchetti made two outstanding saves, woodwork came to their rescue ect, and now a big 2nd leg semi final to come in a few days. For me this is one to decide on in play

    Re: Arsenal v Liverpool > Wed 30th January I know it sounded lazy but I wanted to check all available avenues for info. I checked the odds early and they were interesting so was looking for this information as the price may have moved....there are Arsenal fans here with good insight and knowledge, whereas sometimes google is vague or conflicting especially with the game being over a week away..... Some sources are saying he is days from being fit while others suggesting 2 more weeks out, doesnt matter now though as I have a suspicion he wont be available!
