Re: NFL Football Week 1 Well, hopefully this will be the place I can help my overseas friends out the most....as Football both NFL and College as well as hoops and hockey are my favorite. Week 1: Pittsburgh -1 over Miami --Not disregarding the loss of Big Ben, but this is still the defending world champs playing their first home game since the Super Bowl. With this game virtually at a pick, the clear clear value is on the home team and Pittsburgh. Chicago -3.5 over Green Bay--- So much focus on the quarterbacks for the Bears, and thats dangerous because the focal point should be on two things: 1) The bears dominate defense 2) Green Bay sucks worse then last year The Bears defense will create a short field for the Bears offense and this one will be an easy cover. Indianapolis/NY giants over 48---The biggest factor in this game for me is actually someone who probably wont' be playing, and that's Indy Kicker Adam Vinitari. He's got a bum leg and that will prevent him more then likely from playing. What does that mean for Indy's offense? They will take more chances and instead of settling for 3, they will be trying for 6 more. Eli and the Giants will put some points on the board as well at home as they I think will be one of the most imporved offenses this year
