Re: Vanarama Conference 16th/17th August Early days but I reckon Torquay 5/6 at home to Southport is worth a bet. Unlucky to lose to Gateshead (who have spent a lot in my opinion) and Welling are better than Southport, who Torquay dispatched.

Re: Ships is leaving us Just logged on today expecting some top tippage from the one and only... It's not the same without him :( But we will do it, someone's gotta roger them bookies!

Re: Ships is leaving us This is like when Fergie retired from Old Trafford :( Thank you for all your insight and naps Ships, your non-league knowledge is amazing and you will be sorely missed from this thread.

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem April 26
Looks like some drama in the Conference Premier, gutted for Chester but Salisbury did turn up in the end. Thanks for all the naps this year, good profit from the lower leagues. It's been a pleasure and hopefully more value again next year- or better still in the playoffs! Some drama there and a poor end to the season match bets wise. -
Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem April 26 Addpea, Ships and fellow Conference sages- any news regarding Chester? Still need to win to avoid Hereford shutting the trapdoor behind them, will Salisbury be on the beach?

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Ships and addpea, how bad are Tamworth these days? They look as bad as Hyde on recent form and they face the wrath of Luton tomorrow. I'm considering backing Luton on the on the handicaps- I know they have taken their eye off the ball recently but a home game against second from bottom should be a great way to finish off the season in style? If I've done my sums correctly, a win tomorrow would ensure they are champions unless they lose their four remaining games and Cambridge pull off a blinder...

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Apr 5 A speculative punt today but Stamford at 3/1 to beat Skelmersdale looks value. Skem have been awful these last few games and have really fallen from the dizzy heights of 2nd in the league back in December.

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill North & South Mar 15 Any value in opposing Vauxhall again? 29/20 Betvictor on Stalybridge...

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem Mar 7-8 Manager Andy Thorn has left Kidderminster along with his backroom staff.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 3-6
Edit: I see it was meant to be an away tie initially.Isn't that their usual home ground anyway? -
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 3-6
Isn't that their usual home ground anyway?Hemel have switched their game at Poole tonight to Vauxhall Road. -
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26
As Hyde's Twitter once said, "can't win em all"... I'll live to fight another day :pHorrible shout on Lewes from me tonight - apologies for that one. -
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 24-26 Just had a look at some prices for tomorrow and seems that Lewes are still odds-against with some firms against Grays Athletic tomorrow. Hills are 11/10 while eeryone else has already gone odds-on, any value in this perhaps? Just looking back at earlier threads and it seems to be a trend to oppose Grays this season.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 17-19 Oh well...

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 17-19 Halifax Town: 5/4 v Braintree Town Having followed some great calls over the last few weeks on this forum, I think I will join in on the theme of opposing Braintree Town. Most bookies seem to have opened up Halifax's match price at a shade of odds-on, however there seems to be a drift going on about now and they are close to the 5/4 mark with some firms. Braintree have surely got to be rusty having not played since January 11 against Woking?

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill Prem/FA Trophy Semis 1st leg Feb 15 Ships- strange drift on Alfreton industry wide, any idea why? Looks like 6/4 available now..

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 10-13 Looks like FGR is off everyone :(

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Feb 8 Any more value in opposing Bury Town this weekend? If Leiston were value away in midweek at a depleted Town surely Dulwich Hamlet will prove too strong at home- or maybe I should wait till Friday in case they bring anyone new in?
-
Just wondering if anybody has some opinions on the FA Trophy? I see several firms are offering each-way ahead of this weekend's quarter-finals- I like the look of North Ferriby at 15/2 at Coral but as a fairly new punter I'm not sure how serious the bigger teams take this cup, as they are almost certain to face a Skrill Premier team in the semi-final.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Jan 20-22 try http://www.football-data.co.uk, they usually have everything from prem to conference- it just goes up a bit later.

Re: England > Weekend > Skrill North & South Dec 7-8 Betway have ridiculous value. For instance they are 4/5 on Spennymoor!

Re: Ligue 1 - 2013/14 > Winner I think Monaco are well short at 3.5 for Ligue 1- surely some each way value with Marseille or Lyon? :loon

Re: Vanarama Conference 16th/17th August
Sorry could've phrased it better- I think they were rated as the underdogs in that game against Gateshead, who were even money. Weren't unlucky, just didn't outperform!
