1. Re: April 23 - April 29

Bertens to beat Pious @ 5/4 with Panbet I watched Bertens dismantle Halep with interest today and my lord was she on fire, the woman has everything going for on this surface. Variety, big serve, good deep groundstrokes with topspin and an ability to fire a winner when she has the chance. I was ridiculously impressed with her mental resolve and perseverance and it's no suprise to me looking back at the names she's knocked out on the way to this final. (WC)Intissar Rassif(NR,-6.71) (MAR) 6-0 6-0 Recap Match Stats

That really is a shockingly good list from the first round onwards! They are 1-1 in the head to heads with Bertens winning their most recent match on indoor hard back in October 2011 .. Pous won their match a month prior to that quite convincingly however love and 3 on clay. Never-the-less, Bertens was almost virtually a year younger back then and had only jus burst onto the tour. I watched Pous today against Johanson and was only moderatily impressed, whilst she looked quite promising on both wings ... she often found it difficult to deal with the heavy ball on a consistent basis. Bertens on the other front was much the opposite. Bertens = Better form, better talent and better mental resolve .. I see the 20 year old qualifier setting her own fairy-tale story here. 9/10 in the confidence stakes
Another excellent call ImLovinIt, needed that after the Raonic result, cheers pal :ok
  2. Re: April 23 - April 29 David Ferrer v Milos Raonic (To Win A Set) 5pts @ 4/6 William Hill I cant believe this price and i'd be amazed if Raonic doesn't win at least a set here. He's beaten both clay specialist Nicolas Almagro and Andy Murray in straight sets already and will be full of confidence going into this match. He fired 14 aces against Murray and won 94% of first serve points in the first set not giving him a single break point opportunity. Ferrer had to save 3 match points to get through in three sets against Feliciano Lopez but he'll have to be flawless on his service games against Raonic as he'll struggle on return of the Canadian's huge serve and 1 break could be all thats needed.

  3. Re: April 23 - April 29 Not trying to put anyone of having a bet on Kerber, just thought this stat might be useful to know.. Wozniacki has an average success of 71.19% on clay with 84 victories and 34 defeats and Kerber has an average success of 44.94% on clay with 40 victories and 49 defeats. Good luck with your bets.

  4. Re: April 23 - April 29 2pts Daniela Hantuchova @ 85/40 BetVictor to beat Dominika Cibulkova Only 3 places separate these two in the rankings and Hantuchova has won all 4 of their previous encounters, the latest coming this year in January. Cibulkova's been in decent form winning 6 of her last 7 games but the highest ranked player she's beaten was Sorana Cirstea, ranked number 47 at the time. I saw her lose to Errani in the final at Barcelona and she was really poor, serving badly and making lots of unforced errors. This will be her fourth visit to Stuttgart and she's yet to win a match at this tournament. Hantuchova's had a good season, winning the title in Pattaya City, reaching the final in Brisbane as well as Quarter Final appearances in Sydney and Dubai and she looks good value here as the game should be a lot closer than the odds suggest.

  5. Re: Villa v Bolton > April 24th Aston Villa v Bolton - Bolton (Draw No Bet) @ 2/1 William Hill Bolton's record against the sides in the lower regions of the table is pretty good. They've done the double over both Blackburn and QPR this season and have also won away to Wolves and Wigan. They've also won more games away than they have at home whereas Villa have won just 1 of their last 11 at Villa Park. Villa have failed to score in 5 of their last 10 and with Agbonlahor a doubt for the game, it's hard to see where their goal threat will be coming from tonight. On top of that they also have problems at the back with key defender James Collins missing out through injury. Bolton also have their share of injury problems to contend with but they're in a better position overall and they offer a lot more attacking threat with the likes of Ngog, Davies, Klasnic, Eagles and Petrov, who should cause the weakened Villa defence plenty of problems. Bolton will be desperate to get the 3 points against a weakened Villa side and i think they have a good chance of getting them. At 2/1 the Draw No Bet option looks great value.

  6. Re: World Championship - April 21st - May 7th Stephen Lee (-2.5 Frames) to beat Andrew Higginson - 4pts @ 8/11 Paddy Power Lee is in the form of his life and will be full of confidence coming into this year's Championship. Higginson's a very capable player on his day but his inconsistency means he can sometimes need 2 or 3 visits to the table to win a frame whereas Lee is one of the best potters around and consistently make's frame winning breaks when amongst the balls. Both players like to get on with it which will suit Lee's style and allow him to get into full flight. He's beaten Higginson three times already this season and over this match length, i think he'll pull clear and win comfortably by at least 3 frames.
