Ronnie Liam Hood has gone on loan to Dewsbury mate.Looks like my lucks out on Liam Hood, Shaun Lunt is in on loan at hooker for Leeds, meaning Hood will drop back further into the squad, I'll keep my eye's open for his return as I'm 100% sure he'll get my the last try at some point. I'm not sure that Leeds are as clear cut for this as the bookies think, a few go +6 @ evs for Catalan which is quite tempting, sure they have a few players out but that's been happening most of the season, they didn't go back to France after the cup game so should feel the benefit of that. I'm going for Daryl Millard to score tonight, he's gone over 5 times already this season, can play anywhere in the back 5 (mainly at centre) big, strong and always a threat to the line. Re: Stobart Super League XVII Round 8 - 23-25 Mar Big changes at STs this week combined with Roby & 2 more back should see an improvement, but I am not sure it will be enough to beat Leeds even with Maguire missing, I will take the -2 on offer for Leeds. Putting this in a treble with the Giants & Hull both at -6 all with Ladbrokes @ 5.76

Re: Stobart Super League XVII Round 8 - 23-25 Mar Agree with Ronnie a high scoring game. Bookies have it at 24 v 20 looking at the points markets. I'm using the Leeds 26 V Wire 18 game as a guide, IMO Pies have a better attack but worse defence than Leeds so my guess is 30 v 24. In case the great kickers both sides have miss I will take Over 46.5 pts Ladbrokes @5/6 If they do kick them Over 50 pts Ladbrokes @ 6/5

Bookies have it at Pies 24 v Wire 20 looking at the points markets, I will use the Leeds 26 V Wire 18 game from a couple of weeks ago as my guide. Pies defence is not as good as Leeds so can see Wire scoring at least one more try, Hodgson kicking it will worth 6 pts so Wire 24. Pies attack better than Leeds by a try, Richards kicking worth 6 so Pies 30. Vid ref ruled out 3 tries & tackling behind the try line at least 2 in the Leeds v Wire match, so it all points to a high scoring game. Re: Stobart Super League XVII Round 7 - 16-18 Mar Well done Kevin Sinfield. Ronnie -Watkins did it again that lad is unstoppable! Bookies got it very wrong last night & I also think they have today. :lol They have Saints at -6 SJ to beat the Bulls, not so sure myself the Bulls could easily win the match. Sts are in poor form at the moment & the Bulls destoyed HKR last week (lost on that one :wall ) It looked as though HKR were going to take the Bulls apart in the first 10 mins with their forwards ripping it up the middle, but the Bulls got back into it & scored on the outside. HKR go to Catalan today, never an easy place to go, can't see their forwards doing what they did to Bradford last week the Cats pack is huge. Cats backs are quick & strong & after the Bulls exploiting the wings last week I can see HKR leaking points out wide especially if Leon Pryce is anywhere near his best. SJ has Cats at -16 IMO it should be -22. Cats to beat the -16 hcap at SJ 10/11 Bulls are 15/8 at SJ to beat Sts if the odds drift I might take the bet Good luck everyone

Re: Stobart Super League XVII Round 7 - 16-18 Mar Fancy Leeds on the Stan James handicap of -12 tonight.Think Leeds will be pushing the whole game to get 8 trys so Sinfield can kick 16 points to become the Leeds top points scorer ever. Single at 1.91 Also think the Giants will win but not sure they will make the SJ handicap of -16 due Cas having Millward back (poor guy) they will be fired up. So will take them at -10 & double it up with the Leeds bet. Double at 2.86

Re: Stobart Super League XVII Round 6 - 9-11 Mar Doh video refs & great tackling behind the try line, unlucky with Waterhouse Ronnie but great pick with Hood, TBH I didn't think he would get on as the game was so tight! Did you do your usual anytime tryscorer with Watkins as he did it again? AHughes thought it was a brave bet but well done. Going to try my luck on HKR tonight at -6 4/6 stan james. Good luck

If Wire want to win they will need to score more than 26. Total points over 46.5- 10/11 Stan James

Re: Stobart Super League XVII Round 13 - 4-7 May I was going to play the handicaps tonight but the rain means to much spilt ball. So I am having 3 bets for a bit of fun/intrest, small stakes only. Anytime try scorers Sia Soliola & Francis Meli for Sts, as I think it will all be down the left edge from Sts & Josh Charlney as Wigan should attack down the right edge with Richards being out. I also think both Wakefield & HKR are most vunerable on these edges. Soliola 2.37-Meli-1.61-Charlney-1.66 all at Ladbrokes Good luck
