Re: FLAT RACING WEDS 30TH MAY 7.35 Bev Lady in Disguise Had a strong tip for this. Been laid out for this race and not yet run to ful potential. Owners possibly selling it for big money after this race. 6/1 and 5/1 earlier now gone, so 7/2 is best price on offer.

Re: Fri: 4.00 Christies Foxhunter Chase I know the race is great for the amateurs, and is there version of the Gold Cup. A mate of mine loves it and thinks there should be more racing like this. It's just not for me. I want to watch Manchester United, not Stockport County. I recognise the merits and I can understand why some people love it. I think they should swap it with a race from earlier in the week. I'm probably just a snob ;)

Re: Fri: 4.00 Christies Foxhunter Chase I hate this race personally. Not just this year - I just don't like the amateur nature of it and I think of it as the race they put on to give the jockeys a break after the Gold Cup. But a friend of mine has had a tip for Description (25/1). Just thought I'd pass it along (done a fiver e/w myself as I'd have backed something anyway to give myself a small interest and getting a tip on this kind of race saves me the time from finding one myself).

Re: Wed 5.15: Wetherbys Champion Bumper New Year's Eve is in to 6/1. I've gone for Sir Johnson who has also kept his entry and been clipped a few points to 16/1 (I have him at 25/1).

Re: Villa v Fulham > March 10th Same bet for me. I think this is one of the tougher ones on the coupon this weekend but I do think it'll be low scoring. I'm also tempted by 1-1 or 1-0 Villa. Fulham have failed to score in over a third of their away games this season and never won a game when they have conceded first (this season in the league). Villa's form is poor but they've drawn with Everton and QPR (similar teams to Fulham IMO) and their losses have been to the likes of Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool.

Re: Bolton v Wigan > Sat 11 Feb I think I have to fancy a 1-1 in this game. Bolton have a decent record against teams below them in the league (although in this case we're only talking about 2 places below them!) and Wigan can't keep clean sheets. But Bolton only managed a 1-1 at home to Wolves which I see as being a good indicator for this game. In the last 2 seasons it's been 0-0 and 1-1 in the corresponding fixture and I don't think there's a lot in it between these two teams. The Racing Post have tipped Bolton on the basis of a hot recent run (whereas Wigan have only 1 point from their last 6 games). But that was a 2-2 draw away to Stoke and shows that they can mix it with these types of teams. Bolton won away at Wigan earlier in the season and they are probably a good bet at 1/2 (William Hills) in the draw-no-bet market. But I just have a sneaky feeling for Wigan to nick a point in this local derby.

Re: England > Weekend > Barclays Premier League > 21-22 January I'd go the opposite and say it's slightly under-priced. I'd expect 2/1 on Arsenal and around 100/30 on Spurs at the very least. For an 'enhanced' double I'd want at least 13/1 and probably 14/1 before I'd say its mis-priced.

Re: QPR vs MK Dons - In Running I just thought it was 4/5% over what it should have been. I only had a small bet (£20) just to give me an interest as I was browsing. I'd have done more if someone could have posted with some info (e.g. stats on second half goals conceded by MK Dons) to back up my own eyes. I'm a very regular punter but small punter. Normally I'd say my 10 points would probably be around £100 or so so I put this at around 2 points due to lack of any clear information.

First post, so I hope I'm doing this correctly. Was searching around for some bets and stumbled on the site (was actually looking for bets on the VC Chase on Saturday and ended up catching a live stream of the above match). Back on point: In the odd/even number of goals the 'odd' seems over-priced to me at 11/10. Obviously a nil-nil (current half-time score) would count at even but it's 2/9 for there to be a goal in the second half which seems about right to me. But This is a tight match and I can't see one team winning it by 2, so the 'odd' total of goals seems a bit over-priced to me. Had a small go at it, but thought I'd see what others on the forum think.

Re: Champion Hurdle Sorry for jumping onto the CH thread and discussing the Supreme (but the last few posts seem to be moving onto the Supreme), but has anyone any idea if/when SkyBet will go NRNB on this. They are the sponsors so I thought they'd go at the same time as the champion races (earlier this week I think) but it doesn't appear so. I'm just thinking of having a small each way on The Liquidator, forgiving his last run. Might also have a save on Royal Boy who beat him that day. Lac Fontana was destroyed by the Liquidator at the end of last year and yet they are both trading at the same 25/1 price. Pipe has he Liquidator in the Neptune too (I think) so wanted the safety of NRNB.
