  1. Re: Netherlands Jupiler League 2013/2014

OK guys I've cleaned this thread. Could we please all calm down, and keep all live score chat out of the main threads :) There is a part of the forum dedicated for live chat :ok For what its worth I think Jackie asked a reasonable question in requesting proof of the lineup as there wasn't anything, at the time, concrete. The responses to that request are not acceptable :gimme @ winner winner - you need to contribute a bit more as you'll get no responses begging for tips, and people won't be very forthcoming with you :ok
good call. For what it's worth Rubber, I think there is a language problem as I was quite convinced we were being advised that first teamers were being drafted in. Funny old game.
  2. Re: Netherlands Jupiler League 2013/2014

I had a bet on Ajax DNB at 1.8 with coral' date=' ain't looking too good so far :lol..never mind, the information given was solid, down to 10 men so the win looks v.unlikely, might get it back to a draw..[/quote'] Fingers crossed HG. The stats for the first half show it's been mainly Ajax, so it's not yet a lost cause. GL.
  3. Re: Netherlands Jupiler League 2013/2014 thanks guys, I notice that Ajax don't score too many in this league but I hear what you are saying about potential use of 1st team players with no international commitments - can you tell me when and where I can find the official starting line-up before kick-off? I think that, whatever the team news, there will be goals at PSV over 4 (Asian) is 2.68 on 365. The price about a home win is 3.10 on 365 and that would be tempting if there is similar team news to that of Ajax! Any help appreciated. :ok Thanks GL

  4. Re: CL First / Second Qualifying Round > 2nd July & 16th July

3pts Celtic to win to nil 11/10 Paddy Power This is a patched up Celtic side but they should still win this match. Whether they win it comfortably I’m not sure but I would expect their intention to be to ensure they don’t concede and to grab at least one at the other end to make sure most of the work is done ahead of next week. Obviously Hooper is a loss for the game but in Watt, Stokes and Samaras there’s enough for them to score and win this to nil. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/cliftonville-vs-celtic-betting-celtic-should-be-capable-of-winning-without-conceding-in-belfast-20130717
I think the 11/10 is a decent price but Cliftonville do like to attack. This is an interesting game primarily for the fact that the home team support are all Celtic diehards - for most, Celtic are their "first" team and Cliftonville their second or "local interest" team. It's a bit like Rangers playing their Belfast equivalent Linfield whose fans are all supporters of the Gers. And although these teams have played in friendlies due to their close ties, this is the first competitive tie. Cliftonville have drawn and beaten Celtic in their two most recent friendlies but tonight will be different. The only question is just how ruthless will Celtic be to a team with whom they have a very close relationship and indeed, after their recent poor results in friendlies, how effective can they be? I think it will be a case of just doing enough to retain a flicker of interest in the second leg next week so would say maybe 2-0 to Celtic. Neil Lennon sending out strong messages though: Back home in Northern Ireland, Lennon has made it abundantly clear just how important it is to him and the club that Celtic once again qualify for the group stages of Europe's premier competition as they did last season, when they famously defeated Barcelona. Lennon's men need to win three ties to have a chance to face the likes of Barca, Manchester United and Bayern Munich which would bring millions of pounds in revenue and prestige that the SPL, especially without Rangers, cannot compete with. The first obstacle in Celtic's path is Cliftonville, who host the Hoops this evening in the first leg of a Champions League qualifier (7.45pm) with the return at Parkhead next week. "We are here to be professional," said the Lurgan native, who won 40 caps for Northern Ireland. "Yes, there is a very good relationship between Celtic and Cliftonville but this is the Champions League which is very important to us, the club, our players and their development. Once the first whistle blows we'll be trying to win the game as best we can. "It's a dangerous game. This is a booby-trap of a game, so we have to be really at it in how we start the game." Reds boss Tommy Breslin said: "I feel that any time we go out to play we can beat any team at any time and that's the same attitude we will send the players out with."
  5. Re: all lower leagues and Cups > 2012-13 ( Iceland 4 Deilid) Íslandsmót - 4. deild karla C riðill: I notice that Einherji are playing for the second day running according to the KSI.IS website: can anyone provide team news or indeed confirm that they are playing as 365 don't list the match. Normally would fancy the away side on a -2ish handicap (Vatnallijur had a surprise win v IsbornIceland 4 Deilid but a line through both teams' results v Midas tells a different story). Does anyone have any team news? Did they rest players yesterday? GL

  6. Re: Cycling 2013 Great call LB.:clap Can't believe the 66-1 but sadly didn't see your post in time. Re Het Nieuwsblad - I was wondering who you think are looking good this year? I like the look of young Boasson Hagen or even Geraint Thomas as Sky are hoping to bag some classics.

  7. Re: Spain - La Liga - 27-29 August

Definitely agree with this being the best value bet tonight. It is currently available for 1.9 with Betfair. Given Barcelona's defensive issues tonight, you'd be a fool not to give this a go.
2.02 on offer at Betfair now (12.32 BST)....considering the over 2.5 is 1.46, and the history mentioned above, I think this is a better value bet.
  8. Re: France - Ligue 1 - 27-28 August

Unpeturbed by last night, I'll wade in with three bets today ... - Saint-Etienne +0.25AH v Sochaux @ 1.87 with Pinnacle 2/10 I've been really impressed with Saint-Etienne this season. Galtier has done a really good job with les verts and has made them a very hard team to beat. Signing Mignot has bolstered the backline and they have a fine keeper in Ruffier, who is playing with confidence at present. Goals have probably been their only issue but I'm sure Sinama-Pongolle will click - it's just a matter of who plays with him. Aubameyang is handy but not prolific. Even still, I think they'll get something from FSM. The speculation over the futures of Maiga and Anin isn't helping them and they still look a side who struggle with three games in seven days. They were horsed by Kharkiv in Europe on Thursday and I think they'll be a bit tender after that. ASSE have been solid and threatening so far, and could well get something against a faitgued opponent without the resources to make wholesale changes. - PSG 0AH v Toulouse @ 1.87 with Pinnacle 2/10 I'm going to back the quality of PSG to get a result at Stadium this afternoon. They have a good squad and I expect Pastore to start. The money of a first win in Ligue 1 was removed by beating Valenciennes and I think, in Pastore, Gamiero, Nene and Menez, there's enough there to break down a Toulouse side still missing a number of players. TFC got out of jail with a point in the very last minute at Nice - they lack a consistent scorer (Umut looks a bit passive to me) and they haven't got a strong defensive base at present. Matuidi and Bodmer, for me, can control the midfield. Defence is the biggest concern for me with PSG but I don't feel Toulouse carry a massive threat. Could backfire but with stick with the big-spending visitors to get a result with full draw cover. - Over 2.25 goals AH in Lille v Marseille @ 1.935 with Pinnacle 2/10 Not normally a big backer of overs in France, but will go for it here as I feel we have the right ingredients. Two attack-minded sides with plenty of ability on show and a desire to get the points. Marseille need the win having drawn their first three matches, while Lille, as champions, will want to set down an early marker to their rivals. Lille have been wasteful in recent weeks but do have goals in them through Sow, Hazard, Obraniak and Payet. Ditto for Marseille, who have the Ayews, Remy, Lucho and Valbuena. They met in the French version of the Super Cup a few weeks ago and it was 5-4 to Marseille. Not expecting the same again but feel it's a fixture that tends to breed goals. :hope
Great call on Lille. over 4.5 was trading at 8.6 on Betfair and over 5.5 (which this match should have reached) was 21's!:clap
  9. Re: Golf: The Open 2011 Open Championship Lay Darren Clarke for top 5 finish @ 1.54 (Betfair) a big fan of Cookie Monster (isn't everyone?): the sort of person who would be known as "Animal" in shared digs environment possibly achieving notoriety for performing tricks involving eating smokey bacon crisps and shit sandwiches. But I think that if he does start to show the strain today as he has done in the past at the big events in the closing stages, we could witness a collapse. I toyed with the idea of laying for a top 10 finish (1.22) but only a few shots dropped can send a leader to 6th place in a very short time. A big lad with a big heart but not very fit and that will tell after a hard day yesterday, a few brandies and cubans last night and a fried breakfast this a.m. Good luck all.

  10. Re: Latvia, Virsliga 25.06

Jurmala VV won 2-1. It was nervous in the end, but ended like it was supposed to. As far as the Ventspils match is concerned, there are couple things you have to understand here.......
Er, I thought I was advising caution and opposing the low price of the home team so puzzled by your patronising tone. Take it somewhere else.
  11. Re: Sweden Lower Leagues 2011

Norway Div 2 GP 4 Valerenga2-Skied Skied -2 AH @4.4 b365 Valernga are fresh of a 9-0 thrashing by top of the table Tromsdalen. They have won only one game from nine and have conceeded approx 4 goals per game in the process. Skied on the other hand are sitting 2nd in the league and would go top with a win. I wouldn't think that Valerenga would be able to repair a broken system in a matter of three days. An early goal for Skied should set the ball rolling. GL I do apologise, I have posted this in the wrong thread. I would appreciate it if someone could re-direct it.
wrong thread maybe Rubber, but another fuggen good call :clap
  12. Re: Latvia, Virsliga 11.06

If I want a lecture I'll send you a request next time. IMO' date=' I don't think the game was straight, wether it was a "B" team or whatever excuse they care to come up with.[/quote'] My mate works for a major bookies told me they had a fixer who weighed out the favourites with a few thousand roubles or whatever those monkeys use down there, so I make you right Rubber. Btw did you ever play pro soccer in Ulster?
  13. Re: Finland Veikkausliga 2011

Haka v HJK Helsinki =over (1.60) bet365 Haka position 8° points 11 HJK Helsinki position 1° points 24 Preview: Haka: injured: Latosaari (defender 1 / 0), Salonen (defender 7 / 1), Nooitmeer (defender 9 / 1), Ojala (striker 6 / 0). Haka has a score in house w2-d2-l1 goals scored 5 goals against 4 while HJK has a score out of the house w3-d0-l2 goals scored 6 goals against 4. Haka has significant problems both financially as last year with players and is dissatisfied with the training problems important absences in the defense. The home team because of these problems since the beginning of tournament play with young guys on the team. The home team has drilled more than the defense of the championship. The guests are the best team in the tournament and have the second best attack with 23 goals scored in 10 races. For these reasons, my choice is over. :hope:hope:hope
:clap very good call....never in doubt - 365 were giving 1.72 for this when I looked earlier.
