  1. Re: Celkon Mobile Cup (West Indies/India/Sri Lanka)

Its not a problem its the rules its a full game market so is automatically void when the game is reduced. Had a loser voided the other day for the same reason Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
Thanks for that. I though Most markets would be settled if the result was determined as it was in this case. Guess you win some lose some on voids like that.
  2. Re: Celkon Mobile Cup (West Indies/India/Sri Lanka)

Tuesday preview: 4pts V.Kohli's Performance Pts - 35&Over 5/6 Bet365 Last time these two met I took Virat Kohli’s performance because of his recent record against Sri Lanka. On that day he let me down but India were so poor that day it was untrue. I think they’ll be more like their normal selves in this match and I expect Kohli to go well too. Since that Sri Lanka match he’s raced to a century against the West Indies so I’ll forgive him for one bad match and take him to cover a 35pt total here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/india-vs-sri-lanka-betting-virat-kohli-can-be-forgiven-for-one-poor-game-against-sri-lanka-20130708
Bet 365 have voided this bet on me rather than settling as a winner. 31 runs plus 1 catch makes it 41 points in my book. Anyone else have the same problem?
  3. Shelbourne v St. Patrick's Next to the big derby between the south and north side of Dublin (as @bati explained, even though I disagree with that bet), there is another a city derby (the Red Dublin derby - which is much more interesting for me). I wrote almost everything about Pats in the last match on Tuesday. Then they played without goals against Shamrock although they were the better team. Only striker A. Flood is doubtful, but midfielder S. McFaul is ready again. On the other hand, Shels are in a much worse situation. Actually, they were left without a coach Alan Mathews, after four years, today. It will certainly have a bad influence on the players who are on the bottom of the league and won't be complete for this meeting. Defender B. Shortall and midfielder R. Bayly are banned, midfielder A. Hanlon is injured as well as G. Cronin and N. Burdon (long-term). Also, the other five regular players are in doubt, so that interim coach Kevin Doherty will have trouble. It will be an interesting match at Tolka Park where guests are favorites because of the above reasons, therefore expecting an even greater decrease in odds. I'm almost sure I'll find valuable bets at the Local tomorrow, but I've to take a reasonable offer with Paddy at the moment. Pats -1 (EH) @2.40 Paddy Power medium stake Pats to nil @2 Paddy Power medium stake
Shels parted company with Manager Alan Mathews this evening. This may impact on how you want to play above.
  4. Re: Ireland > Airtricity Premier League > 2013 Derry v UCD Derry will be looking to bounce back after losing 3-0 to Sligo Rovers on Monday. The Students beat Bohs on Tuesday and have only 2 full days recovery before the long trip North tonight. Derry won the first game between the two sides at the bowl 6-0. Team News from Extra Time with Ruadhri Higgins a significant absentee for Derry Derry City Derry City Injury News: Thomas Crawley(groin), Paddy Kavanagh(hamstring), Ruaidhri Higgins(hip). Derry City Suspension News: Shane McEleney UCD UCD Injury News: Mick Leahy, Mark Langtry, Ger Barron. UCD Suspension News: None Notwithstanding the absence of Higgins I am happy to back Derry on the AH at -1.5 with Ladbrokes @ 1.85.

  5. Re: Ireland > Airtricity Premier League > 2013 Cheers Batigol. You know your stuff on here! Domestic Success still the only priority for me. Watching Doyler and Nuttsy on Sky Sports now at Hampden. This will be Doylers fifth Cup final in a row - three with us two with Hibees! He'll not get that at Chesterfield! Betting wise - the League is too easy this year. Would be looking to oppose us and Derry if prices are right. We're not that far ahead of the rest!

  6. Re: Ireland > Airtricity Premier League > 2013 Would be very surprised if PP didn't pay out on that. Was loads of talk about a Shels game before. Shels have only one point all year! Unusual betting patterns might be Irish people who watch the league week in week out. Shels were horrendous against us last week. Drogheda were obvious favs so only way something was on for me was during play. Was as Rovers today - still in second gear but beat a decent Cork side.

  7. Re: Ireland > Airtricity Premier League > 2012 Derry v Rovers Normally a cagey affair between these two sides. Even when Rovers hammered them in the League Cup earlier this season it was scoreless at half time and Rovers have been a little goal-shy this season. With top scorer Danny North out injured this could be a problem. Derry are also without some key players and the stats show a lot of Derry games have been scoreless at half time this season. So 0-0 HT @ 2.62 with Betfair Dundalk v Shams Both sides in disarray at the moment but for different reasons. Stephen Kenny has lost much of the Shams support and maybe even the dressing room. Dundalk have parted company with their manager earlier in the week and will do well to see the season out. Sean McCaffrey was I understand much liked by the Dundalk squad so fresh from a 4-0 defeat at Shels, the ongoing wages crisis and loss of a popular manager the players mindset must be called into question. The only thing in Dundalk favour is plastic pitch. Shams to win easy. S Shams - 1.5 with Betfair. Bray v Shels 17 of the last 18 Bray home games have gone over 2.5 goals. O2.5 at 1.81 Betfair.

  8. Re: May 13 - May 20 Following these threads since the Australian Open. Some great punters here. Enjoy watching tennis but would have nowhere the knowledge on display in here. What are best sites for stats/Tennis news/etc. Betfair and Bet 365 give some useful info but where is best for the extra knowledge do you think?

  9. Re: Sophocles MultiSystem Thread Well done last night mate. Great win with Waaljiwk and unlucky with Granada (traded very low when 2-0). Home Highodds seems to really be producing the goods. I do something similar in that I have a bot which lays odds on away favourites when priced between 1.5 and 2. It has been marginally profitable but I think with adding some extra filters could be a real winner.

  10. Re: 12th March - 18th March

Im no tennis pro but i do like the occasional flutter on the women's from time to time ;) but today I noticed that in the Djonkovic match it was.. Total match games OVER [email protected] paddypowers.. now correct me if im wrong but isnt the mens played first to 3 sets wins with 6 games in each set.. so 18 games minimum?? how can they offer odds like this, seems crazy o.O 6-0,6-0,6-0 is a winner, at better than evens?? Same with Nadal it was OVER [email protected], bad odds but the other guy has to only win 1 GAME for it to be a winner WTF?! I did small stakes coz it seems a bit fishy, anyone care to explain why it would be set like this?
Men's is best of three in Indian Wells and most tournaments other than Majors and Davis Cup!
  11. Posted from iPhone so truncated previews and reasoning. UCD have traditionally been hard to beat at Belfield and have a fairly settled squad from last year. Cork will be expected to do well in their first season back in the Premier League but I am happy to lay them at 2.02 Betfair for 3 points. Speculative lay of Derry at home to Bohs. Two points Betfair at 1.86. Youthful and enthusiastic Bohs might just push City close here. Season long although it pains me I really can't see beyond Shams retaining the league with the strength of squad in depth and quality. I believe they have a better and probably more popular manager with their support in Stephen Kenny. Ordinarily I would see Sligo Rovers (my team) as good value tonight but a turbulent close season with a lot of uncertainty behind the scenes and major personnel changes makes this game a no bet. Ian Barraclough very much an unknown quantity. Mark Quigley a very exciting addition but not convinced Richie Ryan been replaced properly. Small but quality squad. Will have to be lucky with injury and suspensions to compete with Shams. Drogheda are missing a lot tonight but I think they might surprise a few this season as they have added well to squad. Might be value here in weeks to come.
