  1. Re: England/Scotland > Midweek L1 & All Cups - Jan 17/18 Odds on Wrexam didn't change from yesterday. I am just gonna copy paste what I wrote yesterday. Wrexam is football town. Back in the time when club had financial problems, fans gathered 100 000 pounds in 1 day to cover some losses and to keep their team. They are living the dream as they will be back to League 1 after 4 years of absence. In last match they conceded after only 3 minutes of playing but after that they put together and managed to get a well deserved draw when everyone was thinking that Brighton will win with at least 2 goals margin. Guy Poyet, Brighton's coach, is being central figure in British media lately cause he backed up Luis Suarez in the issue with Man UTD's player Evra. Seems like this dude cares more about his own promotion than teams success. Brighton has several injury problems and have not won away game since November even when they were will full squad. They also don't score many goals when they are playing away. Tight game, Wrexton playing with full focus and full hearts. Enough for me! 2. Re: Copa del Rey I agree with dak on this one. Personally, I am not betting on this one but away on handicap looks good. Mirandes is living their dream and will leave their blood on the field tonight to give the media and the fans hopes for the rematch. Take into consideration that their coach Carlos Pouso is one of the hottest figure in Spanish football media recently. Town of only 40 000 citizens having, team who is traveling to their matches in small buses and managing to kill the giants like Villareal and Santader.

  3. Re: England/Scotland > Midweek L1 & All Cups - Jan 17/18

Leicester City vs Nottingham Forest Leicester is playing nothing and manager Nigel Pearson is not living his best days in football. A lost of money spent for this club this season and only 15th spot in England. This is too bad! Forest are another disappointing team, but here has been a managerial error in terms of changing the lines respective the last season, selling the good players and bringing weaker players instead. Do not know how much these clubs are interested in this match, but for sure they are sick and tired of defeats. Leicester ended a match 6 times 2 goals at home and 4 times 3 goals - at home! Forest ended a match 5 times with 1 goal, 1 time with 2 and 2 times with 3. - away! 2 or 3 goals @ 1.95 with bet365
Cool but if you watched last game you'd probably go for under 1.5 now cause these teams show 0 interest in this competition. I am staying out of this game because I believe they will play it for the bookies. Good luck!
  4. Re: England/Scotland > Midweek L1 & All Cups - Jan 17/18 More info on QPR - MKD game. My local bookie changed his price on QPR from 1.75 to 1.85 and MKD from 4.15 to 3.85. Draw is now 3.4 and it was 3.6. Nasty move I'd say cause my bookie always has the worst possible prices for any result. Still I hate them enough to keep betting there :) Joey Barton, one of the QPR's key players will be back after 3 matches. Hughes, the coach of QPR, said something about how Barton is such a good player and that he can't imagine future of QPR without him. Source : http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4062599/Mark-Hughes-admits-he-needs-a-new-striker-at-QPR.html Price dropping on BTTS as well. Seems like Asian market is reading our posts on this forum :D

  6. Re: England/Scotland > Midweek L1 & All Cups - Jan 17/18

QPR vs MK Dons Nice sum-up, MP, though the only fixture im interested in for tommorow is one I slightly disagree with! They were the worse side when these teams met earlier, and only managed to scramble a replay after a late Herguson goal, dispite fielding a strong team! Now they are in the relegation zone, they should have other priorities than the cup, whilst MK dons themselves will enjoy a run more. However, two other things to consider is that since the game, the draw has happened and the winner faces a home game against former winners Chelsea, which will be one for both clubs to relish, and also the match will be televised on ITV4. Both teams will be missing a couple of players on international duty, Injurys and suspensions, the main miss again will probably be Barton and Taarabt, though he is yet to shine in the premier league. However, though Loftus road wont be full, I liked the way his team played against Newcastle and were desprately unlucky not to get anything out of the game. I didnt initially think Hughes was going to be a great manager for QPR but I think at least after that start against Newcastle, he can get his team to create chances at least in the short term and get the crowd that do come to back their team and see this through. QPR have got better players than their lower league rival Dons, and that little bit of extra quality with that little bit of luck you sometimes should get you the win in 90 minutes. My only reservation is the possibility of extra time and QPR players not pushing 100% should it be in the balance late on, but 1.425 Qualify odds are too short for my liking, so, with limited reservations: QPR -0.5 1.900 10/10 You are one of my favorite posters on this forum and I always look upon your posts who are very helpful. I ll try to help you today with you pick cause I see you don't have much confidence! Taking everything you said I find more value in BTTS + over 2.5 goals at pretty good price. My local bookie offers it for around 2.2. Match will be broad casted, QPR not playing with full strength and focus due to hard position in PL etc. More to add, MKD fans requested extra tickets for this match Source : http://www.mkdons.com/page/TicketNews/0,,10420~2573773,00.html So more than 3000 MKD fans will cheer up and will want to see some show from their team. Another good news coming from MKD boss, Karl Robinson who announced that his team will be playing like they have nothing to lose. Source : http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/230598/MK-Dons-boss-We-ll-Karl-the-shots-against-QPR/? Mark Hughes indeed started with a loss but there is good improvement in QPR's play. He has to show that this team wants to play football and that they can score goals. So I don't really believe in a 0/0 result. There is a new coach from home side and so far dissapointed fans and boss announcing war and 3000 fans who are hoping to see their team playing against Chelsea on the other side. In only 4 days, both teams are having league matches only with QPR meeting Wigan and they will be very focused on this game since it is a "6 points match". That is why I don't see this game going in extra time with 1/1 result. QPR will not want to play extra 30 minutes and lose energy or get some stupid injury durring that time. Taking all into consideration I believe that this will be game without stress for both teams, maybe without main players playing and open since 1st minute. I'd go for BTTS + over 2.5
  7. Re: England/Scotland > Midweek L1 & All Cups - Jan 17/18

Not been posted in here but out JPT game with Chesterfield has a pitch inspection at 2 o'clock tomorrow. If the game is off it will be played 24 hours later. I don't know what the bookies do here' date=' whether they void it or just let it run 24 hours but either way if you're taking a bet on this game it might be best waiting till after 2pm[/quote'] Nice info. Thanks.
  8. Re: Italy - Serie A - 14-16 January

Cesena - Novara - Italy Serie A' date= 15:00 CET - Over 2.25, 2.04, Sbobet, 3/10 Big relegation fight today in Cesena. Both sides are desperately looking for 3 points. Both are already six points behind the first non-relegation spot. This is the main factor for this pick cause the today's loser won´t have any realistic chance to avoid relegation. But the gap of six points is so big that the fear of losing doesn´t matter as a draw is too less for both, they need to snatch all three points. They need to play an offensive game they cannot just focus on defence and try to held it goalless as long as possible as usual in such kind of games in Italy. Cesena is without doubt a defensive-minded team with huge problems in offence, they scored only nine times so far. But Novara is usually playing more offensive, only once one of their games finished under 1.5 goals this season - they conceded at least one goal in every encounter. Another nice information for an over pick: Novara signed Napoli striker Maresca who didn´t play much at Napoli but already scored 10 times for Catania two years ago. One defender of Cesena is suspended, too Note: 888sport.com offers odds of 2.37 for Over 2.5 which is great value for those who have an account there.
I smell advertisement in this post. I ll go under just for that feeling. Plus, I see this game to be a draw and possible 1:1.
  9. Re: Copa del Rey

The odds are mighty short for Barcelona. I think they would maybe be around 1.35 in a League game' date=' but for a game they have already won 4-0.... too much uncertainty around it. If anyone's got any early team news, do share.[/quote'] Yea, bookies are so nasty. Even tho Barca will have mixed squad in a match with 0 motivation to crash the opponent, bookies are forcing us to take them on -1.5 or smt in order to get some sort of value. Betting on Barca in this one is like betting roulette. They might win by 3-4 goals margin, and they might as well tie 1:1 or play some sick under 0:1 or smt. Thats why I am not taking Barca on handicap today. My bet is Osasuna to score anytime around 1.8 in local bookie. They lost 4/0 last match, 8/0 match before that and I seriously believe that Barca will let them score at least once to give their fans some sort of joy. What Real Madrid did few days earlier is giving me a lot of confidence. Two too strong clubs in any league are totally killing the competition and the spirit in the field and in the media. These matches are great so people can believe that there is some sort of balance and luck factor involved in the modern football. So give people some joy and let Osasuna to score! 10/10 stakes btw!
  10. Re: Italy - Coppa Italia - 10-12 January

After the last minute winner last night it was nice to have this bet come in early after Sammarco's 9th minute strike. +1.46 units
The Italian job :D From the 5th minute I knew my bet is going to die. They just didn't wanna win this one if its not won in first 90 mins. So they let the game go in the favor of Chievo coz they don't want to play extra 30 mins. Like they are going to do something in Seria A ROFL God damn Italian leagues...
  11. Re: England > Midweek > Carling Cup > 10-11 January

Was looking at the "probable lineups" in the sun today and it gave city's midfield as "johnson' date=' de jong, barry and zabaletta" ... that's prety damn weak.[/quote'] Last their match against UTD, City started with first (if you can say for any City squad first) defending lineup and they conceded 3 times in first half. Second goal was total joke and that penalty which Kolarov made was made only because central defenders were not doing their job so side player like Kolarov had to cover empty and lost area. Then Savic and Zabaleta came in second half and City had no problems. And they were 10 against 11 hot UTD players. The only thing that concerns me is if winning Carling cup goes in City's plans this year or they will continue slowly, taking one trophy a year. And I believe that they are aiming for PL this year. Concerned or not I've took them for 4fold matches accumulator on City not to lose for around 1.25
  12. Re: England > Midweek > Carling Cup > 10-11 January

Unbelievable +65 units profit tonight boosts by bankroll by 18%. Cardiff played the game with real intent, though the Palace fans really made a difference to the players, and signs of the virus is long gone in an atmosphere like that. Thats what I call home advantage.
Followed this thread and followed you on palace. Not with 8 percent of my bankroll but profit was nice. Thank you, you convinced me to do what I didn't have balls to do alone :D And gj on 65 units + amazing courage and knowledge Gave you thanks on each post in this thread for reason!
  13. Re: Netherlands - KNVB Beker

Twente - Eindhoven: Draw @ 3.50 (Stan James) 10/10 In the league Twente is 3rd with 33 points and Eindhoven is 2nd with 37 points. So, there is much of a difference between the sides.Eindhoven's form is better but this is countered by the home advantage. Twente's record is 5-3-0 at home in league matches. The league match, at Twente, ended in a 2-2 draw. This is a pretty balanced match up and the draw result, at good odds, is very possible.
True things. Both teams are very good atm. I surely wanted to bet on over 2.5 and I did but the price is ridiculous. Something like 1.5 and thats what puts the fear in my bones.
  14. Re: Netherlands - KNVB Beker

Eindhoven vs Vitesse A match in which the home side has nothing to lose while away side must qualify! and Vitesse surely is a good team this season being one of the surprises together with Feyenoord. Home side is one of the most balanced team in Jupiler League with many under 2.5 games. Vitesse is also an underish team with no goal conceded in last 4 games. Last 5 games away for Vitesse were under 1.5 goals! I expect a meeting with maximum 2-3 goals! 2 or 3 goals @ 2.00 with 10bet
If I see under 2.5 goals after in this NL cup game I'll be freaking surprised.
  15. Re: Portugal - Superliga - 16-19 December As for Oliveirense (n) - Olhanense game you pointed out few things but seems like you are forgeting how high is motivation of low ranked teams when they are playing cup games. Oliveirense is indeed in the middle of the 2nd division but their players will want to show what they can do with ball tonight playing for the first time in front of TV crowd. Scouts will be there as well and I believe that betting on home DNB wouldn't be risky bet. More to add, I indeed believe that it is good punter bet. However, I am not betting small stakes and I never tryout something in which I am not very confident to lay my money on so I will pass this one tonight and stick with Sporting game. Good luck anyways.

  16. Re: Portugal - Superliga - 16-19 December I share the same opinion of Maritimo. They are very solid and tight specially when playing against top teams. And I find this very good for Portugesse football having another team who can be a treat to every day favorites. This league is growing bigger and better. When I was betting on Sporting - Maritimo tonight I was thinking and thinking why do bookies want us to play Sporting on -1 handicap to get a proper value of our bet? My local bookie offers 1.4 for Sporting to win and 1.9 to win with -1 handicap. I strongly believe that, if modern football miracle doesn't happen tonight and I am very confident it wont because Sporting motivation for playing this cup is very high, this match will go in favor of Sporting who will win the game no higher than 1 goal margin. My bet was Sporting to win @1.4 in local bookie but I strongly support azzurini's pick because value is pretty good.
