  1. Re: Winning Theories I use a method that combines the trainers form over the last 10 days with horses that were in the first three in the betting. Current yards that are doing well with their horses that are in the first three in the betting are John Gosden 4-5 Nicky Henderson 11-19 Mark Johnston 8-16 John Butler 3-6 Venetia Williams 3-8 Others with less runners Roger Varian 2-2 Alastair Lidderdale 2-2 Jo Hughes 2-3 Karl Burke 2-3 Alan McCabe 2-3 Mick Channon 2-3 Jim Bolger 2-4 Jamie Osborne 2-4 David Griffiths 2-4 If you move the dateline to 14 days you can add Alan Swinbank 3-7 Lucinda Russell 3-7 Tony Martin 2-4 Henry De Bromhead 2-4

  2. Re: can any one tell me. The speed figure it achieved with Lawrence Taylor compared with Patterform and Topspeed are quite contrasting. 3. Re: Adrian Massey - Any help? Hi You can have a free trial of my ratings for one month to see if you like them. If you do, it s just £10 per month thereafter with all the proceedings going to a local junior football club. I don't make any money from subscriptions. If this contavenes board rules I am sorry but I am not a commercial operation and I don't advertise, just trying to help.

  4. Re: Best bet of the day 15th April ABERNANT STAKES 3.00 NEWMARKET This is a weak renewal and three trends narrow this down considerably. 12 OF THE LAST 12 WINNERS HAD WON OR HAD BEEN BEATEN LESS THAN 2LS AT NEWMARKET. (Zidane two years ago only had form on the July course) 12 OF THE LAST 12 WINNERS HAD WON OVER 6 FURLONGS. ALL THE LAST 9 WINNERS WERE OFFICIALLY RATED 102 OR BETTER AND 8 OF THE LAST 9 WERE RATED 106 OR BETTER. By applying the first two trends we are left with, Able Master, Barney McGrew, Equiano, Evens and Odds, Golden Stream. Of those only Equiano is rated above 106. Equiano finished second to Tax Free in this last year on his seasonal debut. The four highest rated horses in the race were 116, 112, 112, 112. Equiano won the Kings Stand on his debut in this country though he did finish second at Maisons Lafitte on his debut that season. He looks a horse best caught fresh. He contested the top sprints last season and this looks his easiest task for a long long time.

  5. Re: Short Priced Lays - Trial If you go to Betfair. Click on the results and then click on the calendar for the day you want. It will give you the Betfair sp, industry sp and the lowest/highest price the horse traded in running. Don't know if that is any help. If you want more detailed data, Fracsoft have the data but they do charge.

  6. Hi Guys, Below is a link to my ratings. It is an online spreadsheet. There are two sets of ratings on the spreadsheet, Foxform and Totalform. I have explained what each rating/column is about. I will answer any questions you may have as well. The ratings are free and will remain so. The abreviations on the spreadsheet are as follows. The sheet comes with two pages, the first sheet is Foxform. CR3 = This is the horses last time out rating plus the best rating of its previous two runs. This identifies the consistent horses. LR = The form rating for the horses last run. CS3 = This is the horses last time out speed rating plus the best rating of its previous two runs, flat only. This identifies if the horses has been running consistent times. LS = This is the horses speed figure from its last run. LC = This is the class of the race the horse ran in last time out in prize money. Each point is equal to a thousand pounds. So a race worth 7000 would have a rating of 7 FOXFORM, This is the main rating which includes Form, speed and class. Rank = is the position in the Foxform rating. Totalform is on page 2 of the sheet. Totalform is a combination ratings that takes into account, form, class and trainer/jockey form. It used to be 3 seperate ratings but is now just one that encapsulates all the disciplines. As a rule of thumb, the top 3 on each set of ratings and/or any horse within 20 points of the top rated generally finds the winner. The top rated alone has a strike rate of 27%. http://www.editgrid.com/user/pmr/February_6th Your feedback is very much appreciated.

  7. Re: Beverley 9/9/08 WHOZART 2.00 Whozart in the 2.00 looks worth an investment. Dickmans record with his runners at Beverley,Catterick, Haydock, Redcar and Thirsk is excellent and improves when he has a charge that is priced at 6/1 or less. 26 runners have qualified and 13 have won and 7 have placed. It appears the winners go to four jockeys, Daniel Tudhope, Paul Hanagan, David Allan and Michael Stainton. When these four ride for Dickman under the above criteria their record reads 24 races with 11 winners and 6 placed. Dickmans record at Beverley with horses that are 6/1 or less reads 2 runners with 1 winner and 1 placed as opposed to runners priced over 6/1, 6 runners with 0 winners and 0 placed.. Tudhopes record for Dickman under the above criteria is 6 rides with 4 wins. Whozart is drawn on the rail today although they sometimes track over when the going is testing. I am going to take a chance that they will stay far side and I expect Whozart to further enhance Dickman's record.

  8. I am just keeping a record of these in here and we'll see where we go from th Poor stuff today but here are the cross reference ratings. Basically it is HRB + my own Classform from HRB and another set of ratings that I use. Beverley 3.00 Exit Smiling 3.30 King Of The Moors/Sacrilege/New Beginning 4.30 Joyeux 5.00 Black Falcon The ratings suggested that Black Falcon is probably the best of them. Leicester 2.50 Hollow Green 3.20 Granary/Kensimgton 5.20 Gracechurch/Ryans Future The ratings suggested that Gracechurch was the best bet here. Lingfield 2.40 Daddy's Gift 3.40 Fairly Honest The ratings suggested that both horses could be worth following today. However, given the fact that Alan Dickman has a runner at one of his favourite tracks today, Whozart in the 2.00 looks worth an investment. Dickmans record with his runners at Beverley,Catterick, Haydock, Redcar and Thirsk is excellent and improves when he has a charge that is priced at 6/1 or less. 26 runners have qualified and 13 have won and 7 have placed. 9. Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Saturday 16th BLACK JACARI 5.00 NEWBURY This race has been run six times and all six winners were priced at 13/2 or less. Black Jacari will be around that price but his form is solid enough to take this. He beat Buddy Holly 1.5ls and is 4lbs better off today. Buddy Holly franked that form by winning off 3lbs higher and placing off 7lbs higher. Black Jacari has since run well with excuses. He ran in a 0-100 but in reality it was a 0-86 and was totally unsuited by the steady pace and never landed a blow. His 6th to Slip reads well as the winner has been btn a shhd off 8lbs higher and the 2nd and 3rd have subsequently won. He was a tad keen early on that day as the pace was hot for about a furlong and then it was slowed to a crawl which totally unbalanced the horse. Buddy Holly will struggle to turn the form around on these terms plus Eddery is 0 from 25 with his runners here. Craigstown will make sure there is a decent pace. He was beaten 3ls off 82 last time in the same grade and finds himself 1lb higher here. Border Owl is 0 from 3 on this ground and his trainer is 4 from 121 in 3yo hcaps here. Ballochroy is 7lbs higher than his maiden win and his yard are 4 from 63 here but should run well as he handles the ground. This should be set up for a closer and Black Jacari can take this before he starts his hurdling career.

  10. Re: Hamilton 01/07/08 HAWKIT 3.45 HAMILTON

Hawkit ran a cracker at Newcastle the other and appears here off the same mark. He needs a strong pace and King Of The Moors and stablemate Shy Glance will ensure that. With Supercast liking to race prominently there might be a bit of pace on. Hawkit loves it round here with 3 wins and 2 placed from 9 visits and he can handle short breaks, his record with 7 days or less between races reads 2 wins and 4 placed from 13. Looks a very good bet.

    KINGS COLLEGE BOY 4.45 HAMILTON

Kings College Boy has an entry today and at Haydock later in the week before he is reassessed and I would expect him to run in both races. He has won over the course and will find this 0-75 a little easier than the 0-80 the other day when he was pipped by The Nifty Fox. Folly to dismiss him when he’s in such rude health.
