Re: Greyhound Insider Knowledge Tips - Daily FREE Tips Another winner, nicely done fella.

Re: Sire Spy +227.4pts to 1pt ew level staking
There was, yeah, it was the biggest priced winner in about 60 or so years if I remember correctly. Massive well done on the win today, Jay, I backed it with small stakes as I'm taking a bit of a break from any serious betting, but it's bumped my account back up nicely, so thank you! :cheers:clapThere was a 250/1 a year or so ago wasn't there? -
Re: Quick System Well done Ralphie - every losing run has to come to an end sometime, nice to see you back amongst the winners :clap

Re: One size fits all Cracking day today, wish I'd been following! Well done, though!

Re: One size fits all Can't win 'em all! Keep the faith, you're still doing better than a lot of people out there! And 21 winners from 33 is still a great record so far, I'm sure it won't be long before they start piling in again :D

Re: One size fits all :clap Another winner, well done! I did the three doubles to win and an each way treble over the selections yesterday as well, doubled my money there, so many thanks! :D

Re: One size fits all Still going well, though, don't let a couple of losses dishearten you! Still two wins from four today as well, and a nice yield overall still!

Re: One size fits all Going well so far, good luck! Going to start following with small stakes from here on in, so fingers well and truly crossed for you!

Re: BBOTD 7th May 4:25 Punchestown | Twinlight | 1pt WIN (9/1, Coral) With the ground on the hurdles course still on the firmer side with no overnight rain, I'll be opposing the favourite Unaccompanied, who could probably do with things a bit on the softer side, as could Grandouet. Twinlight has shown he can handle firmer ground, and although the step up in class is something to be considered, with the Mullins yard in fine form recently and Ruby Walsh on board again (having ridden him to victory at Fairyhouse last time out), I feel he can handle the step up and cause an upset here.

Re: BBOTD 6th May 8:35 Aintree | Glorious Twelfth | 1pt WIN (9/4 Totesport) A newcomer from a yard with a great record in these races, I'm going for Glorious Twelfth to see off Awesome Bella on debut here. With a solid pedigree and on ground that should suit, I'll take 9/4 for a winning start.

Re: BBOTD Sunday 1st May 3:50 Sligo | Domination | 1pt WIN @ SP I'll take Domination to win here in what would have completed a hattrick had it not been for a disqualification at Clonmel a couple of months ago. He's improved on each start he's made over hurdles, and I feel there's more to come here against a pretty weak field, with the ground and trip suiting and both the trainer and jockey in good form recently. Apt Manor is a definite danger, but may benefit from the run after a lengthy break.

Re: Peter Carberry's Ride in the 5:30 @Uttoxeter Today
Likewise, watched it earlier with a bit of money on (not a lot, thankfully!); I'd just jumped up, fist punching the air to celebrate when I realised, gutted.]First time I saw it I thought it was the winning post too. That said, if I was a jockey, I'd make it my job to know where the line is... silly boy, they should be more professional -
Re: 2,000 Guineas Incredible, just absolutely brilliant.

Re: BBOTD Saturday 30th April
Ah, I've hit Submit too early. If it's too late to take a price on this one, no worries at all, but if not, I'll take 5/2 with Stan James. Sorry about that!4:25 Uttoxeter | Nicky Tam | 1pt WIN (5/2, Stan James) I'm opting for Nicky Tam to follow up on his victory over this distance at Carlisle a week ago and make it a hattrick. He jumped well and won well enough there, so a repeat performance should see off a reasonably weak field with the ground suiting. Cobbler's Queen and Jacko's Boy are a threat, but the latter hasn't been particularly impressive when chasing, and JB could maybe do with a slight drop in trip. -

Re: BBOTD Friday 29th April
Haha, I wish it was the start of May yesterday when I made my first pick :rollin Hopefully I've started off a winning run now though :Dnice one :ok -
Re: Royal Wedding
Likewise - I took 2's this morning expecting it to be well backed, absolutely gutted. Didn't have much on, thankfully :spankBad race though. The horse is the ultimate monkey' date=' but the rest are much of a muchness.[b'] Surprised he drifted. Well done to all of you that were on. :clap -

Re: 2,000 Guineas
My gut feeling tells me Frankel will win, and in a way I hope he does because he's such a fantastic horse, but I completely agree with your bolded point and at such short odds for me it's nowhere near worthwhile. Personally, I've opted for an each way bet on Casamento, couldn't resist at 16's :loonAm with you Ken, the young guns NEVER listen mate. Sure he's Class but id rather lose my cash on a 100/1 shot than a odds on shot, still a great race to watch and still great for racing if he wins or loses. -
Re: Jump racing Fri 29th April
Picked this as my BBOTD, took it at 6's earlier with Coral so fingers crossed for both of us! :hope4.35 Perth Been looking through the races and finally found a bet. This is a marathon event over 3m 7f, and many just wont stay. Twoston Davies doesnt often leave without some decent prize money at this track and PETITE MARGOT despite being 2yo now has a great chance of running to its chasing mark of last year where it finished 2nd off 20lb higher mark (!! yes 20lb!!). The trainers son is a capable rider now and great to see him on board. 9/1 with Stan James -
Re: BBOTD Friday 29th April 4:35 Perth | Petite Margot | 0.5pts E/W (11/1, Victor Chandler) This should be a very competitive handicap, but I'm backing Nigel Twiston Davies' twelve year old here to win this contest for him for the first time since 2003, and improve on last year's second place. I think the ground will suit and I feel he'll improve for his run at the end of March in a four and a quarter mile-r, where he finished right down the field, but looked like he may have more in him yet and the drop in trip here should be a positive.

Re: BBOTD 28th April I've been lurking on these forums too long, it's about time I got involved, I'll start here :D 2:00 Hereford | Abergavenny | 1pt WIN (6/5, Bet365) Not feeling too adventurous today, so I'll start out with one of my smaller priced choices. First time over hurdles, but the yard have looked strong recently and he ran well enough in defeat last time out on the flat to suggest there's more in the tank; I fancy him to get off to a winning start here if his jumping is up to scratch. Ground shouldn't be a problem based on his efforts on the flat, including two wins over 10f at this or a higher class. Call To Arms and Souter Point are the main threats, but CTA could probably do with softer ground, and nothing I've seen from SP has got me particularly excited about his career over jumps so far, so I'm having to plump for a boring short odds favourite here :unsure I know I've hardly set the world alight with my first choice :lol Hopefully something bigger'll jump out at me tomorrow :D Also, if there's anywhere I'm going wrong, if my reasoning needs to be more detailed etc., give me a shout and I'll try my best to sort it out next time :D

I've been following the golf for a while now and having the odd punt, but I've decided that 2013 is the year where I really try to take it on from a gambling perspective as I relax a little on my racing betting. I needed somewhere to keep track of exactly what I'm doing so I don't throw too much away and figured on here was the best place for it. I won't be betting every week, as unfortunately money doesn't always allow it, but I'll update whenever there are bets placed. I also certainly won't be making quite as many bets as I have this week all the time. Also, as well as weekly event betting, I'll post any ante-post Majors bets in here as well.
