    The Netherlands does indeed play with a reduced squad. Sneijder will during the warming up decide whether he is going to play. I think our changes will be reduced significantly if Wijnaldum plays on the number 10 position. As for motivation, I think both teams will be highly motivated. Germany - The Netherlands are special matches. The last time the Dutch national team lost by a two goal margin in regular time was in 2005 when we played against Italy... :unsure

    Germany - Holland I see class difference in both squad for this friednly and also huge home advantage for Germany. Maybe its just another friendly for Holland, but for Germany the pride means much more and I expect a home win here Germany(-1.5)AH 3.10 @ Bet365

First, there is not much difference in quality and form if you take into account the home advantage. Normally I never back Inter if they are playing without Sneijder. Last Saturday was the exception, though the bet won won, in hindsight I should not have placed my money on Inter. From what I saw their defense looked shaky. When Inter´s off-side trap fails tonight the pacy players of CSKA Moscow will take advantage of it. I am also curious what formation Inter will play. They have a lot of strikers, but I am more a fan of playing with wingers. The match will be played in a stadium with an artificial pitch which favours direct play. With Sneijder and Honda out, other players will have to make the game. Bayern Munich - Manchester City I think the value is on City +0.5. City (0) was/is actually available @ Betfair for 3.80. Both teams now have decent defences and this game could end in an under. Lyon - D. Zagreb Roberto De Agostini tipped Lyon -1.5. This might be a good call since Lyon this seasons prefers (if possible) to play more attacking football. Real Madrid - Ajax Pedro Dias actually tips Ajax +2. However, I am not so sure about this. As a somewhat of an Ajax fan I can tell that Ajax under Frank de Boer have improved compared to the beginning of last season when they playered under Martin Jol. That being said, I am not that much impressed by their defence. Their left-back, regardless of who is playing there is their weakest spot in their line-up. Their centre-backs are good defenders for the Eredivisie, but the Champions League is a different game. The centre-backs of Ajax are especially good in building up an attack and not very much in doing the actual job of defending. They have the reputation of being a teachers pet, rather than a ruthless defenders. I hope this was of help. :ok

For about 150 000 euro you can become a professional football player with Telstar. :loon This is however, a contrarian definition of a professional player. In addition to that, since it was for a long time not possible to relagate from the Eerste Divisie to the Topklasse and many Topklasse clubs are well run, it is suggested by serious journalists that the gap between the Topklasse and the Eerste Divisie is very small.

    Nurnberg - Werder Bremen: Werder Bremen @ 2.62 (William Hill) 10/10 The odds are very good for Werder's win, I think. Nurnberg has started the season in a sound manner and sits in 7th place with a 3-0-2 record. The hosts have a 1-0-1 record at home. Werder sits in 2nd place with a 4-0-1 record. The guests have a 1-0-1 away record. I think Nurnberg's record is mitigated somewhat by the fact that 2 of its wins came against Augsburg and Cologne which sit in 16th and 15th place respectively. Furthermore, one of Nurnberg's defeats came at home against Hannover which, at the moment, is not a better team than Werder. Werder's wins have also come against weak opposition such as Kaiserslautern, Freiburg and Hamburg. However, the guests did win at Hoffenheim which is a team that sits in 5th place with the same 3-0-2 record that Nurnberg has. Werder's loss was at Leverkusen (1-0) which came with an 85' goal. Finally, last season Werder won this fixture 1-3. Hamburg - Gladbach: Gladbach @ 2.97 (Pinnacle) 10/10 I think the odds for Gladbach's win are very attractive. Hamburg sits in 18th place (last) and has a 6:16 goal differnetial. Put simply, the hosts are playing awful football. Gladbach sits in 3rd place with a 3-1-1 record and a 7:3 goal differential. Gladbach defeated Bayern at Munich 0-1 and probably stands a good chance of defeating the worst team at the moment. The odds are certainly worth the bet. Good Luck...:hope

    8 o clocks let me down :eyes Alittle lucky in the end make so much, a sturm draw would have been nice. Can't moan though really, along with Stoke draw single finished +520% for night. +33% for season, aim is 20% so got abit of margin for error. On to weekend bets.....

    Yes obviously, but I think the bookies overreacted to this. Twente has replaced Ruiz with Feyenoord talent Fer, who is also more than capable to make the goals. Yes definitely. Betfair had 1.66 odds yesterday, but I noticed other bookies place Twente at around 1.45 - 1.55.
    Ruiz is one to two classes better than Fer. In addition to that, Fer is a different player, a centre/defensive midfielder who scored 3 goals last season. Ruiz is an attacking allrounder who played mostly at the wing.

I feel that it is not unlikely that Feyenoord wins this match by some margin. Nevertheless I think that there is value on Heerenveen to win. Heerenveen has one of the best offenses of the Dutch Eredivisie. I think that Feyenoords full backs are vulnerable for the pace of Heerenveen players. Moreover, I am not very impressed with the individual quality of the Feyenoord players.
