  1. Re: Best Bet Of The Day 10th Oct Thursday Ya I really do feel for you Irishbugger. Last 6 picks 2 nice price winners 7/1, 6/1 and 3 placed at juicy price's as well and 1 NR. Poor You:(. I cant pick a winner even when I write about the f**king thing on me post, I wrote about 4 horses the other day, picked 1 which lost, and the other 3 c**ts won. The 1 that lost just got beaten by 107 lengths:$. Now who the f**k measured that. Start to put e/w on your picks, But what ever you do Irishbugger (The Bookiemugger), don't change picking those Juicy price horses, Your selection's for value has being unbelievable in the past week, Don't let it get to you and have a Irish wank. Bye the way that's not what you think. An Irish Wank is when "you go to a quite place and PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER":p

  2. Re: BBOTD Friday 11th October Everybody run:eek, Here comes Today's Burger and it comes from Newton Abbot. Im going to plunge for Hillary Parrotts charge Wayward Prince:hope in the South West Racing Club Handicap at 3.30. This horse has being running up against the best steeplechaser's that's out there. He found top class chasing a bit too much to handle last year. Stepping back in class in hrd, could be just what he needs. He is also a nice price for a Betfred Bowl Chase/Gold Cup horse that's running in a handicap hurdle in Newton Abbott, Alright he came 6th of 8 in the Betfred Bowl Chase (40/1) in Aintree and 7th of 9 in the Gold Cup (100/1) but these boys are not in that league and I feel he is worth a punt. Even if he is probable only running out to keep fit. BBOTD....WAYWARD PRINCE....Newton Abbot....3:30 (7/1 boyles)

  3. Re: Best Bet Of The Day 10th Oct Thursday The Burger for today comes from Tramore, I fancy Ruby's only ride Passage Vendome 2moro (4.15), I backed him LTO in Ballinrobe and he was unfortunate to jump the last in the lead only to slip on landing, back in a similar race here he can get compensation, Hit The Headlines was with M Buckley and N Henderson last year then sold and given to C Swan to train, came 3rd twice in 2 chases with Swan, then he sold the horse. Now with G Elliott and Wilson Renwick takes the ride for his first and only start in Ireland:unsure. Renwick has ridden for Elliott in England (2 wins from 8 rides). This is an eye catching booking, as Renwick has never rode the horse and D Condon is in Tramore 2moro and takes Elliott's other rides. I feel Ruby and Passage Vendome will win And the price wont be good, I also feel Elliott is getting Renwick and Hit the Headlines acquainted for a raid in England later on in the season. (I will be keeping an eye on this move). So you guess it, My BBOTD is Dairylea Girl - Tramore 3.45:hope. The reason Better value. Dairylea girl won her maiden here in Tramore 2 runs ago over the same distance and then ran well in a handicap at the listowel Festival LTO. With Brian Cooper on board 2moro for his father Tommy Cooper (Just like that), No not that Tommy Cooper:p, and only being put up 2lbs by the handicapper for those 2 runs might not be enough to stop him 2moro, Hope not I need a winner:$, and I cant be haven 8/15 or something like that on Passage Vendome, I'd rather take 4/1 with Dairylea. That's todays Burger. BBOTD --- DAIRYLEA GIRL ...TRAMORE...3.45 (4/1 PP)

  4. Re: Jump Racing Wed 9th Oct 2013 Todays Burger is coming live from Ludlow 2:40. Good little card this, The Road Ahead is my selection. She was placed 2nd (twice) and 1st in 4 Bumpers, The Bumper she won was not the best of bumpers, but she won it well, 2nd was placed since and 3rd has won. Her maiden hurdle she was beaten 23 lengths by Letsby Avenue who is a classy type of horse, haven gone on to win a novice Hurdle and a class 3 handicap in style since. 3rd (Billfromthebar) has gone on to win a class 4 novice hurdle as well.Letsby Avenue is now rated 130 and Billfromthebar has a rating of 122. I think the Probable favourite for the race (Kathleen Frances) has run well but not well enough to have a rating of 122. In my opinion I think The Road Ahead is at lease 5lbs+ better, and she's up against other mares has a great chance of take this contest. and that's Todays Burger. BBOTD 2.40 Ludlow..... THE ROAD AHEAD (Sorry BH No Prices Available)

  6. Re: BBOTD Tues Oct 8th Well in Boys:spank. Bashing the bas**** bookie. Trotter's tip trots up again:clap. I was just smiting by Smith17s tip:clap , Corky comes in with a corker, and Chris34 your my god punter as well:notworthy. I bow to you. Joeblitz's Tip well it just blitz them:clap. But then the HILLS came alive with the sound of music, 25 to f**king 1 music at that SO un-lucky BH. YOU WERE ROBBED, great TIP though :clap:notworthy:clap. And im still picking burgers:sad SORRY. If this was Best Lay of the Day, I be great:(. Again a Big Thank you to all :spankTuesday's Bookie Bashers:spank. I will leave you with my final thought of the day : Richard Fahey and Sam Bell Smell of shit of the pair of you.

  7. Re: BBOTD Tues Oct 8th Im Off to TipHerHairy:lol for my BBOTD. I would love to pick Sox's Girl in in the 3.55 (If she doesn't win this she will never win) B Cooper takes the ride as well and he jumps off a dessie hughes horse to ride it, but I cant get a price and im afraid he will be 1/3 or something stupid like that. So I take the plunge for a horse called Do na Paisti in Tipperary 2:25:hope. This horse ran in 3 bumpers, before he went for a maiden hurdle in Kilbeggan. He came 2nd to Vinnies Pride who is not a bad horse himself (coming 2nd to The Black Russian the race before that). Also in the Kilbeggan maiden was Fantasy King (3rd) who has won since, beaten horses like Twist of fate (4th), The fox tully (8th) who run here. That race was 20sec slower then the kilbeggen maiden and both were run over same trip and going (G-F). Do na Paisti last run he was 3rd in a DownPatrick bumper and it was over 2m 2f and he was found wanting. Hopefully that was to keep him fit and back over 2m trip 2moro, running off 10-11 and Shane Bulter claiming 5lbs puts in this race nicely. This is the Burger for today, and I know boys, you's are running out of red sauce with all these Burgers im giving out. I have Three horses hopes for 2moro Sox's Girl, Black Cache and Do na paisti. If me pick flops and the other two win ill do me nut:wall. BBOTD .. Do Na Paisti ... 2:25...Tipperary (Sorry No Prices).

  8. Re: BBOTD - Monday 7th October Hard Luck Boy's:(, a bad bout of seconditis Today:sad, Well in Joe our only winner:clap, Buick the bas***d, Lets us down on trotters tip and then Robs us on Irishbuggers, Some run Irishbugger. A Sad ending to a great run you were very un-lucky. Good run from aidymac's hassle (I thought he was going to win for you Aidymac he looked well for a long way).We need to support each other at times like this. The greedy bookies will eat tonight, let the fat bas***ds eat :cowfor tomorrow will be a different battle in the war for winners. Sleep Well my tipsters tomorrow we start again. So Ill end with has anybody got any spare change please.:ok

  9. Re: BBOTD - Monday 7th October Still :nanafrom yesterdays BBOTD Post Well-in Boys:nana Here is todays Burger bet. Todays racing is like looking into a washing machine for me So I'm playing it safe my BBOTD IS Gary Barlow to win the x-factor :rollin put 2 points and a packet of crisps on him. No only messing, im going to put up Liberty Red Pontefract 2.10. for my BBOTD. The reason is more on stats then it is on form but E A L Dunlop has a good record for the little few rides he sends up to Pontefract. He's (1 from 2 in the last year) and (2 wins 1 place from 5 runs in 2012). G Lee takes the ride as he did Lto when 2nd in a Beverly 7f 2yo maiden, he was slowly away and was staying on at the end, could mean he wants further (This is 1m2 a lot further). Its a 2 year old race, so there is a lot of 1st time runners that could be anything. Its risky I know and probably a shit price as well, but its the only horse that Ed Dunlop is sending up to Pontefract 2moro and that's why I am selecting Liberty Red:hope. Its clutching at straws I know, but I cant see Dunlop and Lee going up to Pontefract and coming home empty handed. I cant get a price on the race now, I just hope its half decent. I am also looking forward to IRISHBUGGER (4 in-A-Row) and BillyHill (3 In-A-Row) bets:p, Good luck to you both LIBERTY RED ... 2:10 ..PONTEFRACT

  10. Re: BBOTD Sunday 6th October :rollinWell in Boys.:spank I took PP 5/1 to place Lord Bugger and had him e/w just in case. (You got the hat-trick that's 6/1, 7/1 winners & a 5/1 place in-a-row:clap:clap:clap) also had the neck to put him in a reverse F-Cast with Smith17s tip:clap, only for some froggy bas***d to get in the way:(. That's a 20 runner 4f race and you Boy's got 1st and 3rd:spank. For then we only got the F-Cast in the Arc, Well in Corky :clap:clapand joe:clap. (Joe you only get 1 :clap cause you came 2nd) BillyHill is now going for 3 in a row 2moro:clap:clap. Trotter trots in again with a 9/4 :notworthyand the Boulder5111 near bowls us over with a 14/1 shot:ok (Which I didn't back e/w) and that's without a good day in TippHerHairy. Although I don't know why I didn't put mullins bumper horse up as me Burger Im facing a 4 timer 2moro. (Im 0 from 3 already) Oh ya thanks MarkMyWords that 4f puzzed me, (I even thought they were running it in the paddock:rollin). WELL DONE TO TODAY'S BOOKIE BASHERS.:spank

  11. Re: BBOTD Sunday 6th October BBOTD I Backed INTELLO for the arc, but I don’t want to do thatone. Hope he wins but not me pick. I Like Rebel Fitz and Captain Cee Bee inTipperary but the prices are not nice. I also fancy the Mullins connection inthe Bumper, but that to obvious so I can’t pick that. So off the England I haveto go, like thousands of Irish before me to make a few quid. Im off toUttoxeter 5.35 . Oh Right. His last run he made a mess of it, he was all over the placetaken the lead and then losing the lead and then got headed on the run in.Harry Brooke was on LTO and he gets the ride again, I don’t mind harry, but itstill worries me. I backed him lto and money came for him before the off and ifhe just settled into the race he would have won easily, prior to the he wasbeaten twice into second and I felt at the time he was getting better withevery race. This is the same grade and distance and he only went up 2lb for hislast effort this could be his day. 11/4 wth PP :sadit’s a bit skinny I know but itis My BBOTD (Best Burger of the Day). OHRIGHT …. UTTOXETER… 5.35 …. 11/4 …PP Best of luck to you all IRISHBUGGER going for 3-in-a-Row,Love to see you pull it off, Ill be backing it.:hope

  12. Re: BBOTD Sunday 6th October LA LA LA la la la.. LA..LA….LA..LA…la… LA LA LA… LA LA LA la la la.. That was me singing the French national anthem. 3 things to say before I begin. 1st Evevybody is gone all French on me. Were are you all going “come back” 2nd Im Irish and I still remember Henry’s Hand ball in the world cup “Cheating French Bas***ds ” And 3rd. What the f**k is a 4 furlong race, that’s Like a load of kids running for the ice cream van. Whichever horse is the longest has a great chance of winning that race, he’s like half way home when he comes out of the stalls. And there’s 20 runners in it. This is the first race I have seen that’s bigger in width than it is in f**king length. That’s The French For you. If anybody is tipping a horse in Longchamp 12.45 4f lotto race, can you please make sure that they go the distance. Anyway STOP MESSING “ back to me Best Burger of the Day selection”.

  13. Re: BBOTD Sat Oct 4th Well in boys:clap even my Burger ran in for a place (should have won the c**t) Still posted no winner. But Smarty72 @4s and Joeblitz (2 this week:clap) was great/ but Irishbugger the Bookiemugger is the bet of the day @7s (Irishbugger 2 in a row. with 6/1 yesterday:clap:clap). Topped with BillyHills:clap makes it a profitable day for the BBOTD posts.:nana Irishbugger the bookiemugger will he get the Hat-trick, We he :spankthe bookie. Cant wait for that one, As well the first 3 posts today won, which were placed here last night makes it all the more impressive. WELL DONE TO ALL:clap:clap:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy:clap:clap

  14. Re: BBOTD Sat Oct 4th Here's my BBOTD (BEST BURGER OF THE DAY):cow. So get your red sauce ready:sad . Aughnacurraveel 4.05 Clonmel e/w 9/1:hope He won and was backed heavily LTO in a 3m hurdle in Kilbeggan, and he did it well. He was put up 8lb by the handicapper and this is a much tougher race. But I feel he is still ahead of the handicapper, LTO the ground was G-F, (He won’t get that today), but he won a 3m hurdle in Tipperary 4 runs ago and beat a horse called “Back in focus” and did that nicely too. He came 3rd 3 runs ago to a good horse called Darwins Fox in 2m 4f hurdle who has won since. Most of his runs were 2m -2m4f and he seems that he is always out-paced and 3m seems to be his trip he is 2 from 3 over this trip. He has his negatives, and he’s racing of a career high mark against a good field today, but I sense he will run a big race to today, His Price is a lower then I expected, I thought he would be about 12s – 14s, but he is only 8s – 9s, let’s hope 16 run (¼ odds for 4 places). Also WELL-IN to the boys Corky, Trotter and Irishbugger. 3 Selections came in for me yesterday.:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy

  15. Re: Cheltenham 2014.... Have to say I like W. Mullins Moyle Park for the Supreme Novice Hurdle I put a few pence on him @48s with betfair. He beat Blackmail who was backed in for last year bumper, and then he won a decent Bumper in Punchestown Festival LTO, Willie seems to have taken his time with this horse and he could have ran in last years Cheltenham bumper (I didn't know why he didn't that the time), but when willie won the Bumper with Briar hill, that sort of answered that question.

  16. Re: BBOTD Friday 4th October Im in agreement with you jayalexander for his selection. (Dark Crusader). Connections are keen on him today aswell. at 3/1 ill be on. also I like Virginia Ash in Fontwell 2.40. The Tizzard stable is in fine form and they also have a good record at Fontwell, This ran in the albert Bartlett nov hurdle in Cheltenham and although he was 100/1 shot he was running well until he hit 3 out, Lto he also made a mistake at the 2nd that put an end to his chances. If you put a line through his last run, and he jumps clear he should have a decent shot at taken this.

  17. Re: Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe 2013 Every time I look at this race I keep coming up with a different horse. I am with jimmy2shoes on this "cant wait till its all over", and I took his tip to go with my first gut feeing INTELLO @12s. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing. What I do know is that this is one of the best arc de Triomphe that I have come across since Sea The Stars won it, I am really looking forward to the race but be glad when the studying is over its doing me head in. Best of luck everybody your going to need it to pick the winner of this.

  18. Re: Thursday 12th April - Race 2 - Matalan Anniversary 4YO Novices Hurdle Im with J. Quinn's Horse (COUNTRYWIDE FLAME). He ran a blinder at the festival and I think he still has more to come. About 8 lengths behind the leading pack just before the 2nd last, jumped the last with Grumeti and won easily going away by 4 lengths. Rated 4 pounds better then Grumeti and Dodging Bullets who have done nothing wrong this year show's how much the Handicapper rates him. I total agree that Cheltenham suits him better and that Grumeti will give him more to think about this time round. Also that Grumeti and Dodging Bullets will be better suited by Aintree's track. But i think this horse is the real deal and will live up to his 152 rating. COUNTRYWIDE FLAME to just get the better of Grumeti. But hey What do I know ?

  19. Re: Grand National Stats and Trends Thread Nice Job Markmywords and beaker1 for your stats. Interesting read. Ran the stats against my picks and they all fell by the way-side except 1, I have to say i changed 1 stat, the run within 50 days to 60 days (because of fixutre changes due to the snow). The horse that i was left with is GILES CROSS and the more i look at the stats the more this horse stands out. Irish Bred, Won a class 1 over 3-1/2 miles in a big field, Jumps well and loves a bit of cut in the ground which looks likely he will get, and the money is coming for it. He also run's from the front which will keep him out of trouble and he now has Paddy Brennan on board. He didn't go to Cheltenham, So conections must of had his race in mind all season, and i think he will be there with 1/2 mile left (3 fences out) and then its up to the Racing gods to bring him home. If he has anything left in the tank at that stage he will go close to winning it. Only 1 snag, missed the price 10/1 now, but wish me luck im diving in. Thanks again for the stats boys.
