Re: Group D > Oct 3 (Man City, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax) Man City looks to be a big public bet and that makes me feel even better for Dortmund than I did before!! For Dortmund their run&gun counter attacking style is perfect for this game, they wont have to force anything and they have no pressure, nothing to lose but everything to gain! City don't look convincing and they are vulnerable at fast counter attacks(what Dortmund thrives at) people mention that they played well against Madrid but that's because they were in the situation Dortmund is now: no pressure, sit back/counter, that's the easiest method to play. Now it's a different story for City as they have to attack and score leaving their slow midfield and shaky defense exposed to a great attacking team.

Hazard is as much of a midfielder as Messi!! he is a pure attacking player.. Dembele is a versatile midfielder(CM) not a forward. Maybe Gillet plays as a fullback for Belgium? -

Skenderbeu destroyed debreceni.. absolute domination. debreceni very lucky to get away with only a 1-0 lossSkenderbeu and Dudelange also spring surprises but will more than likely be demolished in the second legs. All in all not a good night in the betting department. -

I tried to warn you guys.... too bad if you didn't listenthey do deserve credit and respect but putting money on 3rd rate Brazilians to hold out the 2nd best team in the world takes a brave brave man.... Apoel will try to play their usual bunker style but Real toys with teams who play like that because they have too much firepower and can break down bunkers in many ways.. Only thing questionable is Real's motivation since it's certain they feel this will be a piece of cake -

If you compare player by player Portugal are much better in every position except striker where Bosnia has Dzeko and Portugal is stuck with Almeida.. But still defense, midfield, wings it's no competition... all Bosnia has is Dzeko and Pjanic(who's overrated imo).. portugal has huge potential and in this game they will be motivated too!I would not say that Portugal is much stronger than Bosnia & H., so I don't understand why they are considered favorites to qualify from this tie. The value us in backing Bosnia. -

No offense mate but that's straight up a sucker bet. Albania rarely lose at home. France beat them 1-2 but they were very lucky to get away with that. Belarus(about equal quality to Romania) was dominated and lost, Bosnia who are stronger than Romania drew 1-1 in Tirana. Albania away and Albania at home are two different teams. You're telling me this Romania team with NO motivation is gonna win at a tough away fixture. Might happen but this ain't worth bitingRomania has failed to win at home against medicore, but tough Belarus team. Now they facing the chance to finish this E2012 quals with pride and some dignity. They travel to Albania and I think that they will win against this really weak oposition. It's a matter of self-respect I think. Odds are great AWAY WIN @2.1 :ok -

That's wrong.. Ujkani is not in Argentina because his club didn't give him permission. Beqaj will be the #1 keeper and although he has CL experience and used to be solid, he's now washed up and not half the keeper he used to be. Albania is literally sending their B/C team and the organization for this game has been terrible by them, everything done in the last minute because they couldn't find players to make a 18 men squad. They are also traveling to Argentina with a negative mentality and the coach fears they will lose big, even said it publicly. I can go in detail about the Albanian players and their absentees but I don't think it's worth it. Argentina will be playing their top players, their coach has been criticized heavily for losing his previous 2 matches so he will want to make a point and win by a big margin. Argentina wins by more than 3 goals and honestly, I'm putting my entire balance on it.

LOL! If only football was that simple, we'd all be millionaires! ;) I watched the game and this Venezuelan team didn't look second best by any means. It sort of makes sense looking at the motivation factor.Firstly of all I should point out that Deportivo Tachira is a Venezuelan team, and in my opinion team of Venezuela may be the defending champion, the leader of his isolated country, but remains in Venezuela and we all know how big distance in class are between Venecuelan and Brazilian soccer. Football in Venecuela is theoretically weak and does not stand to go up against Santos who have one of the best squads in Brazil. I believe very much in Santos victory, and by the way they are unbeaten in confrontation against clubs from Venezuela.

I have been reading this forum for a while and Mustafa's problem is that he puts too much emphasis on HISTORY and past records.. they mean absolutely nothing! Different teams, different mentality, different quality. (Just an observation)
