Sport Tennis Event Potito Starace - Victor Hanescu Selection Potito Starace Strength 10/10 Date 09/04/2011 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.60 Reasoning Fifth seeded Potito Starace has reached the Casablanca semi-finals in a hard-fought victory over the Former World No.6 Gilles Simon. The Frenchman had a 4-2 lead with the service in the third set, but Starace managed to come-back in that one, winning 4 games in a row. Starace has proven to have more self-control in the important points of that game. The Italian Potito Starace is a very good player, with a solid game from the baseline, and he has the first chance to win this match against Victor Hanescu. Hanescu had poor results in these first three months of the year, and the Romanian is an up-and-down player. He won a hard game yesterday against the Russian qualifier Andrey Kuznetsov. Starace holds a 3-2 lifetime edge against Victor Hanescu, and the Italian is the better player here! He should win this one in straight sets! -

He served really bad yesterday against Fabio Fognini, with 44% -1st serve procentage hitting 5 double faults. Montanes almost have lost the first set, saveing 4 set-points to take the first set in tie-break. Pablo Andujar is in a very good form here in Casablanca. Andujar defeated Jeremy Chardy and Pere Riba in straight sets, dropping only 13 points on his serve against Pere Riba. Andujar is looking to reach his second ATP World Tour singles final. The first one was played at the BCR Open Romania (lost to Chela) in September 2010. Here I see a 50-50 match, and the value is on Andujar's side! -

Also, Otelul Galati managed to keep a clean sheet in 12 of 23 matches in this season. Otelul Galati will be here without three important players: Paraschiv, Antal and Peredjia. Difficult mission for Otelul, because they'll have to face a very organised team that will defend from the first minute till the end of the game. I just can't see more than 2 goals in this game! -

Now this game will be played on clay-court, and Andreev is a clay-court specialist. The Russian guy is in a good shape now, and he defeated Michael Russel in the oppener round with a 6-2, 6-3. Nishikori is an up-and-down player, without great results lately. He prefers to play more on hard-courts, and Andreev is for sure the better player on this slowly surface. Igor Andreev should win this one in straight sets! -

Sport Tennis Event Hantuchova - McHale Selection McHale + 5.0 games handicap (Asian-handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 07/04/2011 Bookmaker/Price Gamebookers @ 1.75 Reasoning These two players are in a very good shape here in Charleston. Hantuchova managed to win in two sets against Alla Kudryavtseva and Evgeny Rodina; On the other hand, Christina McHale defeated Alisa Kleybanova in the previous round 6-1, 6-0. I fancy a lot this young-American girl. The 18-year-old from New Jersey is very talented and she has a bright future ahead. McHale managed to win against the two-time Grand Slam champions Svetlana Kuznetsova two weeks ago, in the second round at Indian Wells. Christina McHale is an aggresive baseliner, and her favorite shot is the forehand. She moves very well on the court, and si has a decent serve. I think we will see a very balanced match between these two girls. Hantuchova has more experience than McHale, but this young-American girl is very motivated and she plays without pressure. McHale should cover this spread! I can't see a walk-over for Hantuchova here! -

Nationals are 1-4 in their last 5 overall, and Marlins are in a decent form, plays at home with a great starter. Full stakes on Marlins to win this game! -

Event Dinara Safina - Tsvetana Pironkova Selection Tsvetana Pironkova Strength 10/10 Date 06/04/2011 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 3.25 Reasoning Dinara Safina vs Tsvetana Pironkova, a very-balanced second-round match at the WTA Marbella. Dinara Safina - a former world No 1 is now ranked #81 on the tour. The start of the year was pretty horrible for her. Safina had six defeats in a row including here a 6-0, 6-0 defeat when she played against Kim Clijsters in the first round in Melbourne. Bad results led her to think of an eventual withdrawal from WTA-tour, but she found the strenght to go on, though everything seems to go against her! Safina is trying to recover slowly the form that estabilished her some years ago, but still has a lot of work to do this. At least at the psihically level, because after so many failures and dissapointments, she is very vulnerable. Safina had a tough match yesterday against Arantxa Rus, but the experience made the difference in favour of her. Tsvetana Pironkova looked very good yesterday in the first round, here at WTA Marbella. She moved really well on the court, serving excellent and pushing from de behind, with her forehand. Pironkova is a decent top 30 player, who is playing her best tennis on clay-court. It will be a very tough battle between Safina and Pironkova, and I fancy a lot the underdog in this one. I see great value in Pironkova's odds for a win against Safina. -

Sport Tennis Event Andrey Golubev - Pere Riba Selection Pere Riba Strength 10/10 Date 06/04/2011 Bookmaker/Price Unibet @ 2.52 Reasoning Fairly balanced game in the second round at ATP Casablanca between Andrey Golubev and Pere Riba. Golubev is a big-server player who is doing much better on hard court than on clay. He prefers to play indoor hard, where he can value his service-vole game. Andrey Golubev has 3 victories in this season: two victories in Davis Cup and the last one against Florian Mayer in the first round at Indian Wells. Now he plays his first match on clay after 9 months; Golubev was embarassed last week by a left knee injury durig his match against Ivan Dodig. The Kazac player was strong in the first set, and won the tie-break, but then he get injuried and he was defeated in that one with 6-7, 6-4, 6-0. Pere Riba is a clay court specialist, with good results achieved last season on this surface, in challenger tournaments. Pere Riba played a good match against Jesse Huta Galung yesterday, in the first round here at ATP Casablanca tournament. He served very well, moving good on the court.. I like the underdog here. Pere Riba is the better player on this surface and he can win this game. -

In the last season Ricky Nolasco pitched four times against New York Mets and the results were: 7-6, 10-8, 6-7, 10-3. Over is 8-0 in Nolascos last 8 starts vs. Mets ; Also, Over is 6-1 in Nieses last 7 starts overall. This game could go either way, but one thing is sure: we will see many runs! Both pitchers have a bad ERA, and the trends are with OVER here. I choose an adjustable line, which is a safetly option. Arizona Diamondbacks are 5-1 in Hudsons last 6 starts and Diamondbacks are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings. Rockies are 0-5 in their last 5 home games and I'm going with the "underdog" in this game. Arizona have a good starter, a better bullpen than Colorado and they can get another victory. Colorado didn't impressed me in the oppener game, and they looked very bad. Arizona should cover this spread. Sport MLB Event Texas - Boston Selection over 9.5 runs Strength 10/10 Date 03/04/2011 Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.98 Reasoning Texas took the oppener 9-5 on Friday and Colby Lewis will start on the mound for Rangers in the second game against Boston Red Sox in these series. Lewis is not a great pitcher; he is only 12-13 in the last season with a 3.72 ERA. On the other side, John Lackey will be the starting pitcher for Red Sox. Lackey was 14-11 in the last season and a 4.40 ERA. This guy has a 5.74 ERA against Texas Rangers in 23 games. Here we have two of the best offenses from MLB playing in "The Ballpark" - a very good place to hit. In the oppener game it was 14 runs, and now it will be another interesting game with a lot of runs from both sides. Over 9.5 runs for sure!

It was a dark night for Tyson Chandler , who had a 2/4 FGM-A with only 7 points scored. Also, Jason Kidd had a 2/7 FGM-A with only 6 points scored. The Mavericks are looking forward now, and they hope to forget quickly that game from Staples Center. Now, the Mavericks travelled in Oakland to face Golden State on ORACLE Arena. They will look to complete the season sweep, but it will be a tough match. Golden State have won 4 of last 5 games played here on ORACLE Arena, including here a 124-120 win over the Magics - 12 march. Golden State is a great offensive team with a 113.8 pointsc scored/game in their last 5 matches. Kidd, Shawn Marion and Tyson Chandler are not in a good form, and Dallas could be in a difficult situation against such an offensive-minded team like Golden State. I'll go with the hosts to cover this spread.

Bilbao is well prepared for this game, and they can cover this spread.

Re: NBA 14 February picks Detroit - Atlanta Detroit (+4.5) @ 1.96 - Pinnacle (10/10) A bad match-up for Atlanta Hawks. They are coming at "The Palace of Auburn Hills" to face the Detroit Pistons after two very-dissapointing defeats against Philadelphia (83-117) and Charlotte (86-88). The Hawks will open a long and difficult seven-game road trip in this night in Detroit. This road-series includes trips to New York, Phoenix, Golden State, Portland, Denver and Los Angeles to face the Lakers in the next two weeks. It's good to know that Detroit have won 10 of the last 11 meetings between these sides at "The Palace of Auburn Hills". The Pistons have dropped five of their last six at home and they will look to bounce back now, facing Atlanta Hawks - a team which is not in a good shape at these days. Detroit Pistons have a good team, their bench ranks second in the league and John Kuester knows how to win agarinesc "the Hawks". Detroit should cover this spread!

A bad match up for them! They are back-to-back traveling from Orlando to Charlotte, playing their 4th road game in 5 nights against a well rested team. "Time Warner Cable Arena" is not a friendly place for Lakers. Head to Head, Lakers are 1-10 ATS in the last 11 meetings. The Bobcats are in a good shape, starting to win against two teams with winning records: Boston (94-89) and Atlanta (88-86). Jackson is playing her best basketball right now, finishing with 32 points in a 88-86 win over Atlanta on Friday night. He's the man to watch in this game! Don't forget that he scored 51 points in the two games against Los Angeles last season! The Bobcats should cover this spread!

Dmitrov is a great hitter, has a huge serve, his movement is good, and he doesn't lack confidence. He is only 19 years old, and has many of the tools to be ranked pro. On the other hand, Tursunov is a form top 50 player, with bad results lately. Now he is only an average player, and he can't compete with the power of this kid. Dimitrov is 1-0 against Tursunov; it was a two-sets victory for Dimitrov, on the 13th september 2010, on hard-court in Bangkok. Now we will see another win for Dimitrov against Tursunov!

Re: febrero 11 nba Atlanta Hawks - Charlotte Bobcats Atlanta Hawks (-6.5) @ 1.83 totesport - 10/10 Atlanta Hawks (33-19) suffered it's second-biggest defeat of the season on Tuesday night. It was a 117-83 loss to Philadelphia 76ers. All-Star center Al Horford was injured (back) and he didn't played against Philadelphia, but now he feels good and he will play on Saturday night after all. This is a great news for Larry Drew, because this player is irreplaceable in his team. Al Horford is averaging 16.2 points and a team-best 9.9 rebounds in this season and without him Atlanta suffered two big defeats: 100-59 at home against New Orleans on Jan 21 and a 117-83 loss to Philadelphia three days ago. Now, Atlanta will look to bounce back at home against Charlotte Bobcats; they are looking for their eight consecutive home victory in the series. The Bobcats are playing their third game in the last 4 days, and The Hawks are coming after 3 days of rest. Charlotte (22-31) is coming off a 94-89 loss against New Jersey on Friday night. The Bobcats are in a poor shape and they are more tired than their opponents. I expect the hosts to cover this spread of -6.5 points!

Re: Tennis - February 7-13 Dolgopolov to bt. Almagro @ 2.00 StanJames (10/10) Alexandr Dolgopolov continued rolling as he beat Ricardo Mello in straight sets Friday night. The Ukrainian is an excellent mover and his groundstokes are very solid. He is coming off a carrer-best Grand Slam quarter final showing at the Australian Open and now is looking to win his first ATP World Tour final. Dolgopolov has a huge 1st serve and gets a high percentage in. Against Potito Starace, "the Dog" fired 10 aces and saved six of seven break points and then against Ricardo Mello he fired 4 aces and saved all three break points he faced! Not the same thing can be said about Almagro. The Spaniard was not very confident on his serve against Rui Machado and Juan Ignacio Chela. Almagro doesn't seem to be playing on the top of his game here in Brasil. Dolgopolov is the better player right now! Physically he is in great shape, and he should win this match!

thanks mate! Kvitova is a very good player, but she makes many unforced errors. That's her big problem! And now she is so tired after her last two long matches! I can see big value here, on the American girl.Excellent call on Hantuchova from Alberto22. Great value there......:ok Not sure about Mattek Sands though, I fancy Kvitova there. -

Petra Kvitova @ 3.05 - pinnacle (10/10) Petra Kvitova fought extremely hard to beat Yanina Wickmayer in the quarter final as she lost the first set 7-5 and then was down 5-3 in the third set before coming back to win 5-7 6-3 7-6(3). It was a long match, another long match after her victoryes against Vesna Manasieva (7-5, 6-4) and Barbora Zahlova Strycova 6-4 6-7(6) 7-6(9). Obviously, Petra is very tired right now, after so many long matches. Bethanie Mattek-Sands looked fantastic in her opening round win over Carla Suarez Navarro and served notice that she is here to win! Easy wins over Carla Suarez Navarro, Stephanie Cohen-Aloro and Andrea Petkovic. The American girl is in a very good shape right now, and she is more fresher than Petra Kvitova. The young Czech plays extremely aggressive. She stands right on the baseline and will pound the ball from both sides. Kvitova will try to short each point to avoid another long match, because physically she is not in a good shape right now! But Bethanie Mattek-Sands have good defensive skills to make Kvitova hit extra balls, and she will force the Czech girl to make many errors. Kvitova makes many unforced errors in every game, and against Mattek-Sands it will be very dificult for her to play.I give the edge here to Bethanie Mattek-Sands and I expect to see her playing in the final on sunday afternoon.

It will be an interesting match to watch. The pair formed by K.Chang and S. Mirza is the fourth-seeded here. They have won very easy against Date Krumm and R.Oprandi in their last round: 6:1, 6:2. Chang and Mirza seems to be in a good shape, and ready to win this competition. On the other hand we have an Italian couple formed by Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci, witch is top seeded here in Pattaya. Errani & Vinci worked hard in their last game, in quarterfinal against A.Brianti/S.Zhang. It was a 7:6(7), 7:5 victory for the Italian pair, with many ups and downs in their game. Brianti and Zhang faced 19 break-points in that game, but managed to convert only few of these chances. I think that Errani and Vinci will not be really focused in this match. Why? Becasuse they will play each other in the semifinals of the singles draw, a few hours later. These girls are a little bit tired right now, after so many games in this week. Chang/Mirza is the more fresher pair, and should win this one in straight sets! -

Zvonareva @ 4.46 at Pinnacle (10/10) Vera Zvonareva already owns two Pattaya Open titles, but if she wants to make it three in a row, then she must win against fourth-seeded Daniela Hantuchova in the semifinals. The Slovak suffered an Achilles strain in Australia, but now she is back on track and ready to build on. Daniela managed to win in straight sets against Kurumi Nara, Kimiko Date Krumm and Akgul Amanmuradova in this week in Pattaya. Physically, Hantuchova is in a very good shape right now. She was fighting for every point, playing aggressive, serving really well!! Hantuchova possesses a very consistent serve, a very comfortable volley, and a big forehand. She has the ability to keep Zvonareva on the defensive, and to dictate the game! The Slovak girl is in excellent form and it will be a though opponent for Vera Zvonareva! The world No.3 beated Shuai Peng here in quarterfinals. It was a three-sets victory, with an Russian girl beeing very inconstant in her game. Peng had two break points for 5-3 in the final set, but Vera Zvonareva managed to win the last set with 6:4. Vera didn't served really good in this one, because Peng faced 8 break-points and won 39% of the total points on the retur. On the other side, Hantuchova fired 7 aces in her victory against Amanmuradova, and have won 78% of her total service points. Zvonareva is 4-1 lifetimer against Hantuchova, but the Slovak won theit last meeting on the hardcourts of Cincinnati in 2009. I can see a surprise here! Hantuchova is in a very good shape, and if she can can stay mentally focused all game long, then she should win this one!
