Would you like to play for Team If anyone is staying at Days Inn Hotel and parking in the car park you need to park on the top floor (6th) in order to get the £4.50 daily rate. The downside is, the lift is broken, so you need to take this into consideration if you have difficulty with stairs.

I didn't last too long in the APAT game, I was multitasking playing that one, the Stan James and cooking and dishing up a roast lamb dinner at the same time! I am getting a bit old for this multitasking will have to have sandwiches next Monday!

Me too!Thanks Helen. I will pop back and play when I can, but just can't play two nights per week unfortunately. Will be missing on Thursday but hope to play next Tuesday. Have to say I was a bit surprised by some of the conversation round our table. This is meant to be a friendly league! See you all next week :) -

I hope I have not upset anyone, as although I try to make comments and chat etc, often at the time of playing, we are eating dinner and seeing to my husband's needs as he is nearly blind, which is why sometimes I make stupid calls and mistakes lol. I look on these games as fun and enjoy the banter even if I may not always join in. It was nice to see Gina back this week, she has been missed. Unfortunately, because of home commitments, I will be unable to be at Luton (which is my home Casino) for the APAT game but wish all those playing good luck and will follow on APAT updates.Some of us have been playing together for quite a few months now and obviously we have also had some new ladies joining in the last couple of months, but I wonder if we have all got a little bit lazy and pre-occupied while playing and forgotten we originally got together to have a fun game along with some girlie chat. Even if we have other games on, it doesn't take much to at least type gg or nh even if it's difficult to hold a conversation. It would be a shame to lose the cameraderie we've spent so many months building up, so let's all try make that effort again. :ok I believe a few of us will be in Luton in a couple of weeks for the APAT team game, so hopefully we can meet up face to face and have a group hug on behalf of everyone. :D -

Re: PuntersLounge Ladies Only League - Pokerstars - Leg 1 of 6 on Sunday 10th April I agree Sundays are bad for me, as Suzanne said, we have the APAT League, though not every Sunday. I am also involved in 4 other leagues, so will have to spread my alliances. I was playing two other games at the same time (which I find very difficult as I am not young) this week, so really sorry Gina by knocking you out with your AK with my A3. It was a quick gut reaction flicking between tables, I would never go all in with that hand as a rule. Mind you, Harmony knows someone who would not bat an eyelid playing that or even 2 3o lol

Re: APAT UK Team Poker Championship - GCasino Luton. LIVE RAIL Team PL Great weekend and was nice to put faces to names of my fellow team mates. I was card dead most of the tournament and it was a tough field. I managed to get a few good hands in but I was up and down most of the tournament. I was getting really low on chips and when I got KK they all went in but unfortunately a better hand won. Was pleased to make the points though. I was nothing but trouble at the hotel, firstly being double booked and a nice young man wondered why this old lady was in his room, I thought my luck was in and offered to share but he did not take up the offer. On the Saturday night coming in late from the Casino with a friend I forgot my room number but insisted it was on the 5th floor, then realised it was my car was parked on the 5th floor, my room was actually on the 1st floor, I had not had a drink either!!! At the Casino I decided to come out the ladies and walked straight into the mens loo. So all in all an exciting weekend. Thanks to everyone on the team for making me welcome and hopefully next year Punter's Lounge team will take it down!
