  1. Re: French Open 2012 Zverev to beat Benneteau 2.62 at Bet365 Backing Zverev in a GS is one of the things I had thought I would never do in my life but this is clearly an anti-Benneteau pick, and we must admit the guy has been impressive in the qualies, beating Bautista-Agut and Hajek and double-baggeling Olaso. After a two-day rest he shoul be fresh and this is important for a player like him. Isn't this the same Benneteau that twisted his ankle and broke his elbow in Montecarlo? He was supposed to be out for three months so I expect a very rusty Julien.

  2. Re: May06-13 Safarova -2.5 to beat Carla Suárez 1.72 Bet365 Playing again today in the early afternoon against Safarova, who yesterday performed a solid display against Kenepi, should be way too much for Carla after her final in Estoril and a grueling battle against JJ. Must be completely out of gas. If he loses the first set she might let it go.

  3. Re: April 30-May 6 unbekievable, the most colorful pubter is banned thanks to a newcomer who has not made a single contribution to the forum. iamlovungit your bragging style was certainly not ali stuff but more like a fierce latino fighter, duran perhaps? you will be missed

  4. Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 Anabel Medina vs Li Na Anabel +6.5 stake 4 Over 18.5 games stake 4 Anabel wins stake1 I expect a very tricky match for Li Na. Anabel is in terrific form and full of confidence (contrary to what most people think, slow hard courts is its favourite surface), and her game does not suit the chinese at all. Long shots with a lot of top spin that flat hitters like of Li or Bartoli dislike so much. Medina leads 4-0 although the last encounter dates 2008 and Li has improved a lot since then. Medina herself has declared that she feels very confident about playing against Na and that if she had to pick a top-5 to play against it would have been her so we will she what happens...

  5. Re: Cycling 2011 - Tour de France 2011 Does anyone nows why Goss is placed 183th in the stage classification and 77th in the overall standings? He should have the same postion in both like the others who crashed in the second incident. This ruins my head to head bet vs Pettacchi and Feillou.

  6. Re: Tennis - The French Open Schiavone beatS Li @2 Shiavone is the first claycourter Li faces at RG. No more hard court girls with clean, plain strokes but high balls, lots of top spin and this kind of clay tricks the chinese simply detests. She has never won a clay court event because of that, and was easily beaten by Francesca last year. I see a similar game than the one vs Bartoli. Although the chinese may oppose more resistence eventually Schiavone will win

  7. Re: Tennis - The Australian Open (17-30 January) Dulgheru + Martic 2.03 bet 365 3/10 I follow WTA more closely than ATP so let' s see if I can win this one... There is certainly no other player with a better attitude that Alex. She is a bulldozer that fights till the end and wins most of the games in the third set by making her opponent exhausted. A clay court player that suffers in hard court against ball dashers like Petkovic, Groth etc... who can push her off the court but Morita is not of this type. In fact the japanese is quite fragile. I expect the romanian warrior to win in two tight sets. Martic is a very talented croatian player who has been strugling with injuries for the past couple of years. She looks now fit and healthy, not losing a set during the qualies. I cannot say much about Ferguson but she is not as powerful as the croatian. Martic should win in two...

One WTA, of course :lol for me as well. Auckland. Marina Erakovic +5.5 AH vs Elena Vesnina. 1.79 @ Pinnacle (4/10) Absolutely ridiculous offer here. I reckon it's based on rankings and recent performances, but bookies are missing the big thing that Erakovic is playing in home tournament and she basically plays very little tennis apart from Asia region and grass events in UK. So the focus will be very high here for sure. Vesnina is error prone and that will prevent her from winning by 6 games, I think. Would not be shocked if she even lost. Erakovic has won the only meeting having beaten Vesnina 6-2, 6-1 in US Open qualies back in 2005.
I guess the handicap is so high because of this: Will Marina Erakovic be tournament fit?*****.co.nz "Erakovic has had a nerve problem in a wrist which forced her off court and while it was hoped she would play in the New Zealand Residentials held last weekend, she was unable to. Even if she is over her injury in time for the Classic, which begins in Auckland on January 3, she'll hardly be match-hardened enough to go up against the likes of Maria Sharapova, Dinar Safina or Svetlana Kuznetsova. Despite this, tournament director Richard Palmer says he's still looking to give Erakovic a wildcard. "I've been in contact with Marina, she's training hard," he said. However, she played doubles and won yesterday so she should be fine.
