Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but how does a jockey end up riding a certain horse. Does the trainer book the jockey or does the jockey get to pick themselves?

Re: Last Race Form its from the racing post the form code, if you click on a horse and past form, its in that format, Im a little confused stil why say 16 furlongs for 2 miles? not be easier to say 2m? or 2m1 for 2miles 1furlong. Is there anywere apart from racing post has this info & also the beaten by x amount of lengths????

Can anyone help me out, Where can I find out a horses last race form? Im looking for this information... Distance the race was & beaten by x amount of lengths. I know the data is available in racing post but dont really understand example Form - Race Conditions 16Gd H 6K??? What does this mean??? Is there any other site that has what Im looking for thats easier to understand? Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Re: Whats the deal with this? if you go on hills and do the bet calc... 9/2 1/5 Placed 10/1 1/5 Win 2.50 Returns on Acc £41.25 Thats what i told they guy on chat and he looked into it and amended it. Not sure whats goin on there but im not complaining :)

I did a e/w double on hills there 9/2 Placed at 1/5 the odds 10/1 Winner £2.50 Each Way I got returned £14.25 Then I checked on will hill bet calc it says £41.25??? I talked to live chat and they amended the bet to £41.25 But i checked on other bet calc and it says £14.25 WTF???

Can anyone tell me why in some races there is 1/4 the odds for 3 placings and 1/5 the odds for 3 placings? I thought it was always 1/4 the odds for a place?

Re: Treble bets to win ^^ yea i had a £5 e/w the other week there, 2 winners 1 place. i thought i landed myself £300 odd pound. turns otu my win bet £5 was beat but my £5 place bet won. returns £81 or thereabouts, ragin!!!!
